“This is a great breakfast spot with great portions and prices. The grumpy old man is the action at this place. I think he sits people, busts tables and sometimes starts you off with your drink if the server is busy at the moment. He absolutely does not care if he butchers your name or whatever. He'll tell you to deal with it and go sit at your table in the nicest grumpy old man way. It was pretty funny to watch

The Chef's here is amazing absolutely no burn on the eggs, crispy hashbrowns, the biscuits are amazing.

“We were here for a baby shower and it was the best one I have ever been to. The bar staff were great, they were slinging drinks quick! And they were so nice too. I love all the specials they had going on, which were posted don the chalk wall behind the bar. Btw there is a thing called train shots, every time the train passes they do $2 shots. The back patio was fantastic! Plenty of room with lots of tables and a stage for live music. Kids are allowed till 8. So it was great to see them all running around. And there were 2 good trucks to get some grub. We will be back for sure, baby shower or not.“

“We had lunch today on the porch! LED off with Fried Oyster appetizer! Spicy Crunchy Trout with Broccoli and roasted potatoes and a really nice side salad. My wife had the Three Seafood Salad with Salmon and Shrimp. I know there was another seafood item but she can’t remember. But the waitress was so professional and in these days…she was so good! I wish we’d gotten the Fried Brie appetizer! A little hard to Locate back in behind the other shops but they were also fun! Very good bread as well!!!!“

It was so delicious and everyone commented and wanted to know where I bought it. You can bet this is going to be a monthly stop when I go meet our group. I received great customer service and they also furnished the cups and other condiments. The young woman who waited on me made me feel like the only customer of the day. Betty Lou Coffee Company is located on Landa Street close to Das Rec and I plan to go by and pick up a cup whenever I am in that area of NB.“

The meatloaf had great smokey flavor and perfectly seasoned!
The mashed potatoes are so creamy and garlicky! I personally wish they were more chunky but still love them!

Even when they are in their crazy lunch hour rush, the employees are all friendly and have my lunch ready and waiting on time! “I was looking for something else to eat besides my usual breakfast tacos. I went in the morning and dined in. It was my first time going to Einstein Bros Bagel and trying their food. I was greeted by their friendly staff. I notice that most customers were there to pick up their orders placed on the app. They had a pick-up order section on the counter. I ordered a Decaf Coffee and a Bacon, Avocado & Tomato Egg white sandwich. It had a Roasted tomato spread. The bagel was lightly toasted and chewy generously spread with enough avocado. It was delicious. I had a good experience and will be back soon.“

We'd pick up frozen pulled pork in Tennessee and bring it back to Texas as a treat. Nothing to compare until our first visit to The Purple Pig in June. Meets and exceeds our high standards to perfection. Don't miss this delightful experience. There are many things that makes the pulled pork extraordinary. Quality. Pecan smoked, not common to Texas. Everything we had was delicious and made to order. You can tell that love and care were put into everything we got, something I definitely appreciate. I had catfish and fries, it was perfect and definitely satisfied my craving that day. My husband had a Chicago dog and it looked amazing, he enjoyed it. One kid had a gyro and wow, it looked great. She wouldn't let me try it lol. The other kid had kid chicken tenders. They were not your typical frozen nuggets y'all, they were fresh fried chicken and she loved them (picky kid). We will be back. I can't wait to try everything else. Maybe next time I'll remember to get pictures but trust me, give them a visit.“

I love the ice cream parlor vibe with vintage setting with the diner seats and stadium seats. Had my heart with the little table and chairs for the littles. We were pleasantly surprised!
