“We were here for a baby shower and it was the best one I have ever been to. The bar staff were great, they were slinging drinks quick! And they were so nice too. I love all the specials they had going on, which were posted don the chalk wall behind the bar. Btw there is a thing called train shots, every time the train passes they do $2 shots. The back patio was fantastic! Plenty of room with lots of tables and a stage for live music. Kids are allowed till 8. So it was great to see them all running around. And there were 2 good trucks to get some grub. We will be back for sure, baby shower or not.“

“We had lunch today on the porch! LED off with Fried Oyster appetizer! Spicy Crunchy Trout with Broccoli and roasted potatoes and a really nice side salad. My wife had the Three Seafood Salad with Salmon and Shrimp. I know there was another seafood item but she can’t remember. But the waitress was so professional and in these days…she was so good! I wish we’d gotten the Fried Brie appetizer! A little hard to Locate back in behind the other shops but they were also fun! Very good bread as well!!!!“

“I was looking for a coffee place where I could get a gallon or two to take to a meeting. I was certainly referred to the right place when I was sent to Betty Lou Coffee! It was so delicious and everyone commented and wanted to know where I bought it. You can bet this is going to be a monthly stop when I go meet our group. I received great customer service and they also furnished the cups and other condiments. The young woman who waited on me made me feel like the only customer of the day. Betty Lou Coffee Company is located on Landa Street close to Das Rec and I plan to go by and pick up a cup whenever I am in that area of NB.“

“This was a great little stop on our day out in New Braunfels.

We were able to taste everything on tap, plus the bartender gave us samples of their beers that were in bottles.

I enjoyed all the beers, especially the pickle sour and the Belgian Tripel.

“Water 2 Wine is my unofficial office, therapy lounge, social club, and sometimes a wine-fueled escape from the chaos of adulting. I’ve been going here for years, and if it ever closes, I will consider laying on the doorstep and crying.

The owners, Tre & Angel are the sweetest (sometimes sassy *cough cough* Tre *cough cough*) owners ever. They're extremely knowledgeable about wine and make this picky girls heart and tastebuds happy.

They have an incredible staff with Johnny (who's won best bartender in NB for like a lot of years, don't ask me how many, I can't keep up, might be convinced he's bribing the town with sass and charcuterie boards), Ameilee (the queen of arts and crafts and the designer behind their door of events each month), and Lexi (who makes it a point to remember anyone and everyone by name and their wine of choice; seriously the second time I ever met her she greeted me like besties and I live for that energy).

The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming which makes it a great spot for a girls outing, date night, or remote work that’s mostly just answering one email and then reward-sipping for your efforts. It will forever be this wino's fav spot to sip, yap, and pop a squat.

11/10 would recommend. No notes. Just go.“

“I was looking for something else to eat besides my usual breakfast tacos. I went in the morning and dined in. It was my first time going to Einstein Bros Bagel and trying their food. I was greeted by their friendly staff. I notice that most customers were there to pick up their orders placed on the app. They had a pick-up order section on the counter. I ordered a Decaf Coffee and a Bacon, Avocado & Tomato Egg white sandwich. It had a Roasted tomato spread. The bagel was lightly toasted and chewy generously spread with enough avocado. It was delicious. I had a good experience and will be back soon.“
