“I am not a winter Texan and loved the ambiance. The pancakes are soft, moist, and delicious. The huevos rancheros were good but the beans could use a bit of more of flavor and mashing. Will definitely return. The service was a bit scatter brained but they were hustling and checking up on you.“

“Got this place as a recommendation from a friend in college, I was amazed at how good the food is here! I go once a week for the #2 combo of ceviche tostadas because they're that good. The ladies are always nice and provide my family and I great service when we dine in, and the price is fair given that mariscos are always expensive. “This place is the best place for seafood in the Valley. The seafood is fresh and the portions are a good size for the price. They have specials at lunch time and their consommé is full of pieces of fish and shrimp. Of course, be careful with the habanero sauce, it does sting. The service has always been excellent and if you're lucky there's even mariachi on the weekends. So if you like seafood, come and enjoy a shrimp cocktail or some fish fillets. You will not regret it. And don't forget to try their cucumber lemonade!Postscript: Last Sunday my parents went to enjoy some lunch specials. My mom, as always, didn't finish the 3 steaks that came with the order because she filled up on the broth. He asked for a little box to take them with him but he forgot to take it and left it on the table. On their way home they realized it and returned to the restaurant. My dad went down to ask about the box and the waitress informed him that she had just thrown it in the trash. We understand that they can't store food for hours, but they came back as soon as they realized it on the way home (we don't live far from there either). He only included it as a suggestion that please wait a little while before throwing away a takeout container in case the customer returns for the food they already paid for. Thank you.“
“On sunday we went to Mambo seafood a single mom( good tiper) with my son .Waitresses were passing by us like we didnt exist lol .I endeed up leaving and stop at LA LAGUNA as soon we walk in we felt welcome , food was delicious , waiter was respectful , helpful and kind .“

“I have to admit I was very skeptical when I first got there. The decor looks like your grandmother's attic exploded.. lolVery random and quirky antiques. Feels like you are stepping into a random roadside mom and pop dinner.All that being said I had already made up my mind that I wasn't going to like it.That was until I took my first bite of their fried catfish. WOW what an impressive job of frying with great flavor and still maintaining a flaky texture. The shrimp was no less impressive!!The sides were mediocre but the fish and shrimp stole the show.
