Small casual BBQ joint with personable staff, good serving sizes, and good quality for price.
Highly recommend a baked potato.
Chicken was a little dry, everything else we got was very good.
Would definitely come back.“

“Stopped in with the wife and kids after we drove by and spotted the restaurant on our way to go eat somewhere else. So glad we turned around once we saw it! Our kids are fairly picky and they all found something they enjoyed!“

“If you are looking for the absolute BEST bbq in Ellis county look no further!!! Everything we had was absolutely phenomenal. Awesome portion sizes as well. The staff was super kind also. We will definitely be back!!“

“Absolutely, positively, loved loved loved the food and service. The music was awesome and the only thing I would ask for is a larger parking area. Outstanding...especially the mac and cheese and the potato salad. Oh and I can't forget about the, I believe you call them rib tips and the bbq sauce I dreamed about it was sooooo good. Thank you“

“This is a restaurant inside of a gas station. Food here is good. Service is always quick and courteous. The brisket tacos are pretty awesome. A step above for sure with the smoked brisket. They also have a loaded baked potato (done chophouse style w/ smoked meat and baked beans, etc.) that will leave you stuffed if you can eat it all. Great place to eat.“

“On Friday night my husband visited your food truck. He had the pulled pork and brisket plate with macaroni & potato salad. He brought home leftovers for me. Yummy yummy. Everything was so good. The meat was savory. The macaroni was thick and creamy. The potato salad was on point! But…that mustard bbq sauce was THE BEST! I 💯recommend!!“

“First visit with a group of 20+. The staff was friendly, attentive and aimed to please. Food was very good. Any issue anyone had was addressed and rectified with a small. We had a great time and looking for to attending a Sunday afternoon Gospel Show sometimes this Fall.“

“If you are going for the ambience; this ain't the place for you. However, the food more than makes up for it. We ordered a shrimp po boy basket and a catfish basket. Both were absolutely delicious! They were hot, fresh and seasoned just right. We will definitely be back!“
