“A lot of friends have recommended me this restaurant saying it’s good. My overall experience was great. The food was amazing definitely one of the best seafood places i’ve tried. The service was great the waitress always had a smile on her face. Thank you for a good experience Erika.“
“They say little hole in the wall restaurants have some of the best food than the big fancy restaurants.Well this little hole in the wall has the best seafood in Port Isabel and probably S Padre! My wife and I were very hungry so we ordered the all you can eat Fish & Shrimp. My wife ordered grilled fish and shrimp in butter and I ordered the fish and shrimp in butter and garlic. We expected small thin fish and maybe popcorn shrimp. Well to our surprise the fish filets were large and thick, shrimp large and butterflyed and everything cooked to Perfection!!Everything was super hot, right off the grill! Some how my wife and I still had room for another serving of 2 more fish filets and 7 more shrimp and we were able to try the blacken fish and shrimp. As expected this time it was awesome again cooked to perfection. Our waitress Mary really did a outstanding job taking care of our needs. After two seving we still managed to try there Mango ice cream which was the topping we needed to finish a awesome meal.“
“This is the best place in Port Isabel and SPI for shrimp. The shrimp boats are right in front of Twin City Shrimp and the granddaughter of the original owner runs the company now. It has been here since the 1940s. Kalei, who runs the company, knows every one of her regular customers as family. We are fortunate to have found her!“
“Our server Raymond was attentive and courteous with our group of six. The appetizers and meals we had were great. Those of us who wanted substitutions were accommodated without additional fees. The restaurants view of the SPI bridge is really pretty.“
“The breakfast tacos are made with 12” diameter tortillas. Good luck finishing the whole thing. Tasted great, especially with the pico de gallo. Coffee…eh, but the tacos more than made up for that. Service was fast and friendly. Great way to start off the day.“
“This is a small place, and family friendly. I had the Mexican Garlic Shrimp for dinner and it tasted great. Nothing fancy, but delicious shrimp. The two side dishes I chose were the beans and rice, and both were pleasantly presented. The complimentary chips were a little on the chewy side, but I think that may have been because they were flour rather than corn chips? I also had the ChocoFlan for desert which was moist and fresh out of the fridge, and quite generous in size. Overall I was pleased and plan on going back to try their All You Can Eat Shrimp.“
“A nice hole in the wall. All you can eat fish, fish and shrimp, or just shrimp specials. I am not sure what the fish was. It was ample, but not firm. Next time, I will go for shrimp only. They have fried, blackened, garlic, Diablo and one more that I didn't try.“
“This is a place more for families. Nice decor pirate theme. Friendly staff, good food but like all choices you would offer to a kid. The pasta taste like it came out of a box & the seafood options are like shrimp shrimp shrimp…. Not a lot of variety.“
“I have to say I was skeptical but after tasting the homemade chips and salsa I knew this was going to be delicious. The portions were good size, tortillas from scratch and you can tell it’s all fresh. We are from Dallas but vacation here every year and will be making this a regular spot.“
“One of the best restaurants near the island bridge. The seafood so was delicious and affordable. It is a small place and there may be lines waiting to be seated, but it’s definitely worth it. Service staff is very busy , but very courteous.“
