“Had early Christmas with my kids and grandkids. Ordered a meal from Mesquite BBQ so I could enjoy the family instead of spending all my time in the kitchen. The food was incredible! A complete hit with my son-n-law, who loved it the most. Thanks for making our Christmas so tasty.“

“Food was delicious. But to go more in depth the bbq beans are sweet and have a barbqq flavor but the pepper flavor over took the rest of the bean flavor, the mac n cheese was good and really cheesy. I think the brisket was pretty good and so was the jalapeno cheese sausage, that was delicous. We got a discount for it being tuesday and recieving meat plates. The place was nice and quiet. Over all i would rate it a 7 out of 10“

“We ordered a variety of the items because we were having trouble deciding what sounded best.

Ordering was fairly easy thru the True Texas BBQ app to pickup in the drive-thru. The order was ready on-time & brought out curbside to avoid having to wait in the line. 😏 super sweet worker on the drive thru speaker & brought out to my car (not sure if the same person)

Everything was still hot even after driving back home to Rowlett after pickup.

The portions were decent overall but especially good on the Loaded Brisket Chili dippers. HEB’s queso blanco is TOP TIER! I’ll make sure it’s on my regular shopping list going forward. 😋

The Texas-sized Pulled Pork sandwich was hefty & packed with flavor. Our kiddo loved the pickles and insists we will only be buying HEB pickles from now on. 😆

Brisket Birria Ramen should be a regular menu item versus limited time. I’ll be sad when it’s gone. So good, flavorful, a little kick of spice, and filling for the two of us that ate it. (We were a little skeptical/worried it would be a lot smaller but pleased with the container size)

Finally, we got the 2-meat plate with chopped brisket & poblano queso sausage. The sausage was 🔥🔥🔥 - Highly Recommend that!!

The sides we chose for the 2-meat plate were the potato salad & coleslaw. Potato salad was very tasty & the coleslaw was different but still delightfully good. I look forward to trying the other sides for future visits.

I wouldn’t say the brisket is the best I’ve ever had, however, it is very flavorful & did not disappoint. It tastes great in the brisket chili. And I would like to try it unsauced in the future to get a more “accurate” feel on how I really feel about it. I’m very picky about bbq sauces if/when I decide to use it so the brisket being sauced may be hindering my thoughts a little there.

The variety of choices we made cost less than a family pack & easily fed a family of 4 getting to try multiple menu offerings. Will definitely have again.“

“Save your money, this is the worst tasting barbeque I have ever experienced. Two people dinner and drinks 42.00. Their barbeque is tasteless. stick to your locals, they know how to do BBQ right. Never again will I spend a dime in a chain restaurant. To make matters worse, the employees were like robots, cold and unfriendly until you got to the cashier who was delighted to take your money. This review is for the newly established restaurant in Mabank, Tx. They wont last.“

“Good place, lacks options like hotpot and self serve counter( which includes dumplings , veggies and so on) that the plano location has for AYCE menu. This is not a jab at the place, and is only mentioned to emphasize the difference between the two locations. But they one thing I dislike about this recent visit was the new big roll of napkins set on the table, they take most of the space on the table and I feel like the hygiene on this is bad , a lot of people touch them and they get dirty I prefer the small napkins,they were more convenient and less messy. “Today was our first visit here, Party of 5, very excited for the Briskets, which did not disappoint, 4.5 out of 5 stars. We also had Boss Burgers, Confused Burger & Chicken Zinger Burger, the burgers were 3.5 out of 5 stars. The burger patties seemed homemade, the seasoning was too Desi, kinda like my mom would make at home. The taste of Adraq/Lasson (garlic/ginger) was a bit strong in the patties. The burger buns should’ve been Brioche. I think Lime n Dine has the best burgers, but this place definitely worth trying. For appetizers we had Onion Rings, Jalapeño Poppers, Chicken Wings & a Philly Fries, all were real good, 4 out of 5 stars. Customer service was pretty good, 4.5 out of 5 stars. The vibe was a bit dead, lighting was too dim for my liking. The portion sizes were fair, so plenty of space for a banana split at Braums. Doodh Patti tea was pretty good too, 5 stars on the tea. We’ll be coming back to try their steak next time, I hope they don’t over cook’em.“
