“The food was delicious! Me and my mom shared a seafood boil. It’s called the “The Pew Pew” on the menu. It was so delicious!m and good flavor! We got the Garlic butter and Cajun mixed flavor with Mild spice. It’s not too spicy at all! So it was perfect for me. If you like spicy foods then I recommend medium or more! The Crab and shrimp were big and had a lot of meat! The potato was cooked perfectly. For my drink I had the “Salted Coffee with Boba” It was made so perfectly it tasted so good. I recommend people to try that drink. The water tasted good also! My Waitress she was so nice and helpful and attentive! Nice, cute, and simple restaurant.“

“You know this is authentic when we struggled a bit with the menu. Thankfully we were assigned someone who spoke English and was amazing. We had someone with peanuts allergies and he went back to check if they could make an accommodation. He was amazing and patient with us. Best of all, no peanut allergy reaction.
We tried the spicy beef and cahn bun Oc and both had bold flavors. Make sure you add the shrimp paste that comes on the side. Both broths were sweet and savory and had an umami bomb. We added chilli to it and it took the soup to the next level.
The Bun Nem Nuong Cha Gio was very fresh and the sauces complimented the dish.
The menu has English descriptions for most of the dishes and Google translate can help there wasn’t pictures for each dish. However, I learned that next time is much better to look at all the dishes displayed in the TVs surrounding the dining room and point at the dish the looks the best.
We went for a late lunch in a Saturday and it was 1/4 - 1/2 full. Plenty of space and the A/C was set perfectly for a bowl of comforting noodle soup.“

“We love Ca Nuong. Today is our first time trying Ca Nuong here. When we walked in I recognized the long long time chef, I told my friends I knew that man, ca nuong will be good. We just want to try ca nuong today since the quality of ca nuong from the other restaurants went down. Oh my goodness, it’s so tasty and delicious. You can ask for fish sauce (nước mắm) if you don’t like the traditional sauce (mắm nêm). I strongly recommend you to try cá nướng, you won’t be disappointed. ???. We love their tea too, they serve the tea instead of water, what a great idea! ???“

“If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food, look no more fam. This stall is located inside the Saigon Mall food court in Garland.Their bun dau mam tom SLAPS. I mean wow, everything on the plate was so fresh and delicious. The tofu was still crispy even after about 20 minutes -- probably the best fried tofu I've had in a long time. The mam tom is hella dank, so if you're sensitive to smells, you may want to steer clear. I was told that I stunk up the whole house ?. I also ordered the banh canh cua and the bun mang vit. Both very good as well. Portions are huge and prices are reasonable. They do take cards. They also have a huge variety of prepared snacks, which I'll definitely have to check out next time. 10/10 highly recommend. Please stop by and show them some love!“

We were delighted to find this special Vietnamese pastry shop. Great selection of homemade authentic pastries. They should do pretty well with their offerings and sold a lot of items to be sustainable.
We love to support small business.“

“Unassuming spot in a strip mall in West Mesquite that is clean and neat. But you definitely don't go there for the service or the atmosphere. That's missing the point for this restaurant. You go to this mom and pop spot because they make fantastic food. Not everything in the menu is available, but the available items are excellent. Set your expectations correctly and have an outstanding lunch at Ba Lę.“
“Sing and dance the night away. Great fun, nice and friendly clientele. If you enjoy signing or listening to music you want be disappointed. English or Vietnamese songs are preformed there. I go regularly and enjoy, also the staff is friendly and helpful“

Will love to be back often.
Parking: Easy parking outside of shopping center.“
“Located inside the Saigon mall food court . Came here early morning for their cháo lòng specialty (rice porridge) . The owner is a nice older lady that’s very genuine and sweet . I asked her what’s her most popular dishes on the menu and it’s the cháo lòng and they are still cooking . I waited for 20 minutes while they are cooking but it’s worth it . This is my to go place for cure of the hangover or that awesome breakfast .“
“October 2024
This location served great duck Porridge for a long time. I think ownership changed after Covid.
However, I enjoyed their egg noodles soup. I’m happy they change their setup using real bowl instead of plastic one.
Great value for a quick soup noodle. I appreciate the self service method.

This restaurant is a hidden hot pot gem in garland. We came here just for the delicious goat hot pot and we enjoyed it tremendously. Aside from different hotpot, there are many authentic Vietnamese cuisine offered here. The vegetarian buffet line attracts a large crowd.
Even though, the restaurant looked tired and beaten up, we overlooked the food offerings.

“What about "Friendly Waitstaff"? It isn't in the list below - but it's very important. Great food. Especially pleased to see and taste the crepe. BYOB.“
“This place is a small to go Vietnamese spot with banh cuon/uot (rice crepes filled with pork or shrimp/plain rice crepe), goi cuon (pork and shrimp spring rolls) Banh beo (water fern cakes - small rice cakes with dried shrimp topping), rice and noodle dishes (chicken, pork), Vietnamese fried egg rolls, and other dishes. There isn’t a lot on display and they put out a few containers of food on the counter to buy to go. Behind the counter is where you ask/order for the banh cuon, Banh uot, Banh Xeo and other hot foods. I believe the banh cuon/uot are the most popular foods to get here. I would stick with those items. I got egg rolls (Cha Gio) and thought they were ok. The filling was more veggie than meat. The egg rolls were 3 for $2 and I got 6. They do take credit card, but I think it needs to be over $10.“

“Work lunch. I had the beef fried rice with fried egg (came with clear broth soup), and my coworker had flat noodle pad Thai and Thai iced tea. We shared the combo appetizer. Nice place, clean with plenty of seating, the staff was very kind and attentive. Spring roll and meatballs were the best in the appetizer. The fried rice was very good (it was hard to save some for later. I should have, the portion was very large. ) Nice place for a simple dinner or lunch, where fast food isn't desired (when is fast food ever a good choice?!)“

“Dude the bbh is so good. The Bun Bo Hue dish! The presentation, the taste, and the noodles left my mouth still watering for more. Meat and noodles were spot on with lots of flavor. Love me some Bbh more than pho.
Their pho is good too but it’s hard to find bbh. Thank you again“

“One of the best Pho outside of Garland. You can taste the time it took to make the broth.
The garlic noodles with shaken beef was super aromatic from the garlic butter, umami from the brown sauce where the tender beef was cooked. The pasta was cooked more than I liked and it’s recommended that you eat the dish on the spot. After mixing with the brown sauce, the aromatic and buttery taste goes away and pasta soaks too much of the sauce.
Plenty of herbs with the dishes which makes it more refreshing and fragrant.
The service was good with one waiter multi tasking and with help from the kitchen serving the food.
Overall, very hearty and authentic tasting Vietnamese food.“

“I always get pho when I go but here lately they have been overcooking the noodles and they are very sticky which causes the pgo not to taste the same. I still go because the North flavor is really good I just wish they wouldn't overcook the “

“It was at that moment I realized I had never had a truly good Banh Mi. The variety of textures, contrast of flavors, and most importantly, the quality of the butter and fresh bread were game-changers for me. Plus, the value for the price is tremendous. The service was great, and they seem to treat their employees well. The best part was seeing a non-Vietnamese staff member speaking Vietnamese and having fun with the customers. There’s something unique about this location. I tried their Carrollton location and was not the same.
The baos are huge with an excellent filling-to-dough ratio. The dough is soft and spongy, just as it should be, and the filling is fragrant, tender, and moist.“

“Hear me out, I know this is a Pho place and yes the Pho is amazing but the coffee was incredible. I can drink a 300mg of caffeine bang and feel literally nothing. The coffee here was so strong it actually blew me away. It was also delicious. 10/10“

“A must try. You can taste the care that they put into the broth. I searched far and wide for pho that doesn’t have msg. You can taste the difference and they definitely put love and care into making their broth. I would eat it daily if my diet allowed it.“

“I was a little skeptic at first due to some of the reviews, but to my surprise the food was good but the service was not that great (I was totally Ignored by a Blonde waitress). I had a large beef Pho. The atmosphere was great, good memories from my trip to Vietnam. The first table was dirty and I had to move to a different table with no silverware. After being ignored by Karen, I had to get up to find a different table to get a fork and a spoon. I can’t complain about the price since unfortunately I am living with hillbilly’s here in Rockwall and would need to drive to Richardson for better tasting and better priced pho.“

“This place is inside a Vietnamese market and I would have never known about it if it weren’t for my gf who suggested it. We got the #2 and I was really unsure about it because I am not really into super bready foods. Plus the bread looked really hard and distasteful but omg was I wrong.
The bread was light and crispy on the outside and super soft and buttery on the inside. I was literally shocked when I took my first bite. The meat was super tender and not overly salty. I am guessing they process the lunch meat onsite as well as the bread. Not to mention the pickled veggies on the inside were absolutely the perfect combination of flavors with the meat, bread, and fresh cilantro.
Highly recommend this place and they even open at 8am if you want to pick one up bright and early.
Also plenty of parking!“

“This place has some BOMB cha lua. For you non-Viet folks, that's vietnamese pork - kind of like our version of ham. Put it in banh mi (bread). Eat it with banh cuon (rice rolls). Roll it into your spring rolls. Eat it with rice or vermicelli. Put it in your noodle soups! Heck, you can even eat it alone - it's that good. This stuff is awesome. This place has good quality cha lua and is cheaper than it's competitor across the street. The fam always stocks up on them and we store them in the freezer. It's located deep within the Hiep Thai plaza (if you're facing directly at Hiep Thai from the outside - it's located on the right).“

“Ordered take away. Some shrimp spring rolls, tofu spring rolls, and a seafood pho for the fam.If not into spicy spring roll peanut dipping sauce then ask for Sriracha on side. Broth for seafood pho was very hot, even after longish drive home. Nice packed hoisin and Sriracha to add extra oomph if desired.Do need to let noodles sit in broth, then stir, to help loosen them back up from drive home.
Vegetarian options: Proteins csn be askedf for as add ons
Parking: Strip center with plenty of spaces nearby door for take away.“

“People recommended me to come here for the bun Bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) . But I found it kind of bland and not enough lemon grass in there to give that burst of flavors . It was just another average place to me and so far Houston still has the best Bbh .“

“Zizi serves the best ramen I’ve ever tasted. I had a chance to try the Tonkatsu at Zizi food stand inside Cali Saigon mall as they are hosting night market during this weekend. They probably served only one kind of ramen at the market. But omg the broth was heavenly flavorful. It tasted just right, rich, and not too salty like many ramen places I’ve tried. Too much sodium is not good for your health and imagine that’s soup so it packs a lot of sodium. I rarely write reviews but this one is definitely worth it. Would like to try other dishes they serve at the restaurant. No picture as my toddler could not wait and ate half of my bowl😂“

“This place is family operated! So be patient if they are busy! They work so hard and do their best. I had to drink a cucumber limeade , and to eat I got spring rolls , crispy dumplings and the eye of round beef pho . Spring rolls were not the best I’ve had the pork was a little strange it reminded me of deli meat . Dumplings though were amazing I’ll just get those next time they were a 10/10 . The beef broth was absolutely amazing , the beef though was very tough almost over cooked I believe the beef should be a little bit more tender , maybe next time I’ll ask for the beef raw on the side and I’ll put it in myself to cook while I’m eating it . They were so busy I got my drink close to the end of my meal , but no complaints it was very pleasant I just took it home . Like I said if they are busy just please be patient they will get to you and get your order right ! It’s worth it I promise .“
