“Edited for July 3, 2023..Stopped by tonight not remembering there were fireworks shows in the area. Bar was packed with lots of folks just ordering Waters... Still, it was like the staff wasn't prepared. Only one of the usual bartenders, and a couple of hard-working waitresses. But there were a couple of guys behind the bar that you could tell where only upper management trying to fill in with no clue what they were doing. I ordered some to-go food, and the order was messed up and missing some items. I have the brisket tacos and head asked for brussels sprouts, but they miss that and put in chips. The chips were extremely stale. This place seems to be going downhill as some of the original staff are not there anymore.Stopped by tonight for beverage. Felt it might have been a little overpriced for a double bourbon, but the friendly bartender made it worth it. Wish I could remember her name.“

“Cool neighborhood bar/pub. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. They have a pretty large interior section of the restaurant as well. Both the exterior and interior areas had TVs for sports. The menu was pretty diverse and had plenty of options. I opted for the 4 wings and a side of fries. It was nice that I got a choose of 2 different flavors of wings (my choices were dry rub and Thai chili). The wings were alright. The side of fries was plenty to split between 2 people. I also appreciated that I had the option to split the fries in half: sweet potatoes and waffle fries. STAR OF THE SHOW: Fried Mac and cheese Our server was awesome and came by just enough to keep up taken care of, but not too much that it was a bother!!“

“Another fabulous meal! The All Day Fix is an amazing deal. Appetizer, Entree and desert! Go on a Tuesday and get half price bottles of wine. Dillon is a great server. He was our sever his first week on the jib, a year ago. He was our server again today. He is so good! Attentive but not hovering. The atmosphere is peaceful, yet upbeat! “Our server Chloé was terrific. We visited in order to watch the Final Four games. Chloé made sure we had a great view of the biggest screen. I had an espresso martini. It wasn't that good. The espresso flavor was weak. I also had the queso dip and that was okay. For dinner my boyfriend got a burger and fries. The fries had some strange seasoning that hadn't been mentioned on the menu. Needless to say they went uneaten. I had a grilled chicken caesar salad. The chicken was good but the caesar dressing was very thin and not very flavorful. Our server offered to exchange the salad for something else but I decided to just let it go. We were allowed to linger without pressured to order more stuff during the game. Chloé made sure our drinks were always topped off. She really was what made the visit comfortable.We will go back to Twin Peaks. “I love that some restaurants still respect and care for their customers and employees. My first time visiting and I have to say it was the best I e seen in a few years. The services is very much welcoming that makes you want to be a repeat visitor. Word of mouth is every nowadays and I could not stop talking about the Loco Asada Fries that we ate them 2 times in that day. “First off I must say this is one of my favorite spots in lake highland, everytime I get off work I have to come over and enjoy a nice app or drink, the bartenders are always great. Ricky was my bartender this particular day and he gave me the best drink choices. He was so friendly and down to earth and I ended up spilling my whole life story to him. But that’s what happens when you build that connection with your customer. Excellent food, excellent service, and amazing drinks always! Oh yeah! The music is EVERYTHING!!! “Flying saucer is awesome! I've been comming here since it opened and have never had a bad experience. I've brought many friends, family and coworkers here, and every time we all enjoy it. Everything on the menu I've had to eat has been exceptionally tasty, their menu has a lot of good and filling options ( the nachos are the best) and the amount of beers they have on tap is insane. I've found many local alternatives to some of my favorite beers that are even better than what you can pick up at the store and the service is always top notch. The servers know everything about every beer they serve and can answer any question you have about them. I've never had a suggestion I didn't like. Food and drinks come out blazing fast, everyone is very friendly, the environment is chill, but very social, and you can go sit out on the patio and enjoy the lake and watch the sunset. They have trivia nights too that are a lot of fun. If your in the area and are looking for a new place to try, I suggest coming here. “This place is great! Bring earplugs! The constant noises emanating from the machines will definitely give you a headache that leads to you leaving before really getting your money's worth. Shown here is Spicy Tuna (it was good but the tuna was minced and not in pieces), Salmon Avocado (this was delicious and yes there were Salmon pieces), Spicy Crunchy Eel (sooo good with great eel sauce), Shrimp Tempura (very good). This special comes with edamame, miso soup and gyoza. These were all very good. Service is spotty but great most of the time.“

“We like to go here on Thursday evenings to watch the music upstairs (Jerry Don Branch, great blues rock). Because the small upstairs bar area gets crowded early, we get there by 6 pm to get a seat for the ~7 pm show. We usually end up eating there as a result. The food is typical bar food. It's good for what it is (burgers, sandwiches, grilled chicken, salad, fries, onion rings, etc.). They have a decent variety of beer and drinks. The bar staff/waitstaff are very friendly, and though the crowd usually consists of the same group of people each time, they easily accept newcomers. To put it most simply, it's a fun place to spend a Thursday night if you like live music.“

“Ordered my food to go over the phone, paid through the link they sent me through text and picked my food up curbside. I got home and realized they forgot my queso. i really didn't feel like going back out and decided i didn't care and would just call and ask for a refund for just the queso. the manager i spoke to was literally the nicest woman ever. she said unfortunately since i paid through the link they can't refund my card, and said she knows it's a stupid policy. it is what it is i told her it was totally fine. after that she asked for my name and address so she could send me a dinner card through mail for an appetizer, entree and desert. she was so kind!!! i don't normally leave reviews lol just thought i'd leave a positive one because she was so sweet!“

“I've only been here a few times and mainly for karaoke night, but the owners are extremely friendly and seem to truly care about their clientale and welcome you back when you show up. The staff is the same way and very friendly and go out of their way to learn your name. There is a mixture of old and young here, and beside having a good food menu, there are darts and pool tables for fun and games, and an outside patio. The only downside is that it is not a "smoke-free" establishment, so when there is a large crowd, the smoke is quite noticable! But I would still come back again, just not frequently! The place is a lot bigger on the inside than it appears from outside as it is located in the corner of the shopping strip.“

I had the Beef Santiago and the serving size was huge and the taste was beyond incredible. My daughter had a ham and chicken dish - once again the serving size was large and the taste hit every taste bud. There were only two other tables so it was nice and quiet, we were seated instantly. Alberto was our waiter and the bartender. We didn't drink but he brought us waters. I wanted fajitas but not so many and he suggested Ala carte so I had the veggies plate and adddd the carne. It was perfect! So helpful instead of saying no nothing avail like that. Asked for a bit spicier and if we could have some Jalapeno, it came chopped and again charged us for it. The bathroom is always clean even though it's located in an area where many people frequent. The food is okay, and the drinks are strong. “We had a very nice time at Jazz TX. We had a few drinks, enjoyed a meal, and the band was good. We even got in a few dances. I hope to come back a little more regular. The bartender is not a craft bartender so don’t expect fancy drinks. Stay as basic as possible. I had the nachos with everything and wished I had stuck with just chicken would have been better for me than beef and chicken. My husband enjoyed his sandwich and onion rings. The food is decent bar food. Again, don’t expect anything fancy. You’re bound to have a good time. Also, there are many people that come here on a regular basis.“

“The pork chashu and egg in the ramen is amazing, by far the highest quality pork and egg of any ramen place i've had. The ramen pork broth could be a bit more flavorful to be like authentic japanese style but was still good, the karaage is very tasty. No real service, self serve with ipads at the front, and a bit pricey for the meal. Love the spice options for the miso ramen, very tasty!“
