“My favorite restaurant! Our waitress Shaina always goes above and beyond even when the restaurant is extremely busy she is extremely attentive to each of her tables and leaves no one unattended! Will request her as our waitress every visit! This girl deserves waitress of the year! Not only that but the food is always on point, delicious and brought in a timely manner!“

“Food was so good!! We ordered through favor and we are so impressed not trying to say we are good critics but we are super picky. This met and exceeded our expectations. Crab meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The only gumbo I’ve ever had better was at NOLA and it was 25$ for a bowl. Here it’s 5$ and out of this world!!! Would love to compliment owner in person.“

“New location! Seafood done well is the attraction. I had the catfish and shrimp special. My wife had seafood gumbo. My friends had shrimp po-boys. The portions were generous for the price. All were tasty. We all had fried entrees. I'll have to try broiled next time and look for healthier options, but an occasional splurge is okay, right?“

“Food was great. Service was great. I was extremely pleased with the quality and taste of our food. We did the 5lbs for $40 which was a great deal and well worth every cent. The beer is overpriced but hey that was my only complaint so I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving the mud bugs, seafood and other great menu items.“

“Fast and consistent service. I got the sesame chicken with fried rice , crab Rangoon’s and plain lo mein noodles!! Absolutely loved it, this is the only thing I order from here. I think it’s really good!!! It’s hard to find a place that I can buy all of those dishes and rate a 10. I’ve tried many restaurants in San Antonio and this is the only one I come back to for this type of food.“

“I'm a Flight Attendant, based in a city that foes not have a Sea Island!?Whenever I am home in San Antonio, it's one of the first places that I visit for great seafood! However, I must say that I was disappointed to discover that the Fried Oyster Platter was not available!?Please bring it back!?“
“This is a hidden gem!!!The outside is very unassuming and can be easily missed or confused with being part of the car shop next door, but once you're inside it gets way better. You probably won't be trilled by the decor much but the service and the quality/freshness of the food has always been on point on at least 5-6 times that I went to. Great portion size and the flavor is just outstanding! The only thing I can think of is price. There are similar seafood places in San Antonio that are priced better. This might possibly explain why it's been somewhat empty every time I am there. My recommendation is the ceviche mixto which is pictured, but there is plenty on the menu to choose from!“
