“Had Marcos pizza for the first time in a while and wow! The pizza was so good! The pizzas had the perfect sauce to cheese ratio and the toppings were 10/10 in terms of freshness and quality. The dough was clearly fresh and never frozen. I’d like to thank the artist that crafted our pepperoni + basil, cheese, deluxe, and veggie pizzas. Phenomenal job. Delivery was extremely fast as well. I’d highly recommend Marcos if you want some good food!“

I am so glad that this pizza store is halal, because halal meat comes from animals that are treated far better than factory meat and it makes it taste all the better. “We a regular customers every 4-6 weeks going there. They know our appetizers they just confirm and provide. The food selection is good and tastes good. Service for us is great. We share birthdays a couple of days apart and they took care of us. Highly recommended.“

“I thought this place was wonderful, the food was fabulous. It reminded me of Europe with it's high-quality tasting dishes and ingredients. A new favorite in Houston! We ate on the patio on a nice spring day, and I believe it may have been an owner or manager serving us, he was very knowledgeable, friendly & seemed invested in the restaurant. The menu is extensive, so there will be plenty of new dishes to try next time I'm in Houston and able to eat here. We were here @ 4pm so had no trouble getting a table without a reservation, but I think it can get very busy so I recommend advance reservations. However, it's well worth it for the delicious food!!“

“Stopped in for lunch with my mom and grandma. Grandma was craving a BLT so we discovered this deli which serves Halal beef bacon. Also ordered a falafel which was delicious as well. What an amazing place, atmosphere was wonderful, service across the board was amazing and you were treated like royalty from when you walked up to when you walked out. An exceptional 5 Star establishment. I had tuna appetizer and it was great, followed up with main course of Beef Tenderloin, that was so tender you did not need a knife. And topped that off with a Hazelnut Bavaroise. 5 Star Service, 5 Star food, 5 Star flavor and overall an amzing place.“

“Checked this place out because we were headed to a show at the Smart Financial Centre and it ended up being an excellent choice. We split both the beet salad (not pictured, we demolished that pretty quick) and the chicken piccata. It was the best one I'd had yet! The veggies were delicious too. Great bread and even better bread pudding. We also had a nice Pinot Grigio to go with dinner and a cappuccino to accompany dessert. Happy tastebuds and stomachs across the board. “It's been a while since we've been here and it was just as great as always. Pear truffle salad was outstanding and such a wonderful combination. The lobster bisque is still the best in the world. We tried the cotton candy foie gras which was another fun combination - so delicious! Lamb chops, sea bass, salmon were all outstanding. And of course, we had to have the Souffle! Second, the staff was so nice, Felipe was our waiter and he went above and beyond. It was always a great place to have the pizza oil toss you the dough!! And, their buttered pasta is to die for!! “Can literally walk to the restaurant from just the other side of tollway and we have for years HOWEVER, my son and I just went this week and were completely shocked and disappointed as the prices have all increased and what they don’t tell you is a dinner that always included either a side salad or a caesar, will now set you back an additional $7. I’m talking a small salad. We drank water, no apps or dessert, and it was $65 (once an ok tip was added in). Way too expensive for what you get now. So creamy and delicious... but not too heavy at the same time. Loved the use of pancetta here. Calamari was crispy and seasoned well. The cutlet for the parmigiana was breaded well and had good texture. (I believe I had veal). The pasta and red sauce was a bit underwhelming though. The red sauce tasted a bit too sour/acidic for my tastes. Our server was incredibly friendly. I'll definitely come back for more carbonara!“

The shrimp was perfectly cooked and the sauce tasted like nonna was cooking it on the stove all day. It had a kick of spice to awaken your taste buds into a dancing frenzy. My teen got the chicken Alfredo and you can tell it was made with love. “Everything I have had at this Fuzzy's has been deliciously awesome. Where to begin? The pizza is the best I have ever had, hands down, but get this... my wife had lasagna recently and loved it. I wanted to try it, but didn't because I can't stand ricotta. Their chef, Marco, offered to deconstruct a piece of lasagna, remove the ricotta and replace it with mozzarella. It was extremely customer service forward, and it was the best lasagna I have ever had! The salad and breadsticks were fresh and delicious, making a perfect, perfect lunch! Thank you Fuzzy's family! “Our neighbors have been telling us about Palazzo for quite some time so we join them for dinner last week. I thought it was a very good neighborhood restaurant. I had the pizza which was terrific better than fuzzies. My wife had the chop salad, which was great and gets numerous good reviews online. One guest had the mussels which she said was one of her favorites. The desserts were all homemade and terrific. I had the bread pudding with whiskey sauce, which was best I’ve have had in quite some time. My wife had the banana pudding, which was also great. Only disappointment was we had the spinach dip as an appetizer which was not warm and too creamy for our taste. The service was attentive and pleasant. Also liked that they let you bring your own bottle of wine.Palazzo is really good food at reasonable prices.“

“Went to North Italia a couple of weeks ago to celebrate our son's 34th birthday. The place was very classy yet casual. There was indoor and outdoor seating as well. There were 6 of us plus a baby. We were able to be seated but I would recommend making reservations just to make sure you are able to get a table. Everyone started out with craft cocktails. We all had different ones, but everyone loved the ones we got. The table got Cacio e Pepe Arancini which is fancy for a crispy risotto that was to die for. It was the whole table's favorite. We also got the Calamari Fritti. It was also very good, but it had a very light batter which to me was like something that would go on a fish and chip or a beer batter. I didn't care for it, but I don't like that kind of batter. The white truffle garlic bread comes with a house made ricotta spread and ohhhh myyy definitely could have just eaten that for lunch. ha ha I got the Ricotta Cavatelli which came with jumbo lump crab, shrimp, pepperoncino in a mint, lemon and olive oil sauce that just made the dish even better. My wife isn't into trying different things. She is very meat and potato, so she ordered the chicken parmesan. It came out and for a split second I was jealous. The chicken covered over half the plate. For something that was very typical for Italian food, it was absolutely delish. They brought out our son a red velvet butter cake with gelato. It was good, but not something that I would order. The food was so good, so maybe I was just too full to enjoy it. I wish I could say I took pictures, but I did not. We had a lot going on this time. If you are looking for a cheap meal, this is not your place. It was very pricy for a lunch, but definitely worth it. Parking was down the street in a garage that was free. After that meal we needed the walk back.“

My only issue was the lack of fans and/or incence to push any fruit flies out the door with strong winds and strong natural antifly aromas like lavender or eukalyptus. The artsy bartender Beryl liked the “My Fair Lady” movie, so maybe she can improve her bar and her band name from “Psychodelic Maggot Engine” to “Psychodelic Fan Engines” to blast any flies away while reciting “The Rains in Spain” from the bar. Most restaurants suffer from fans blasting any outside insects, which is normal in a tropical jungle like Houston. Once they get those fans fixed and I can enjoy the food that I ordered without any disturbance, then I can honestly give the place a 5-Star. Some places have terrible food, so fans nor extra hygenic practices cannot save it. This place can be “My Fair Lady” improved to 5-Star with some extra hygenic steps to complement the high quality food and friendly staff. Real friends always listen and provide good feedback.“
