“Wow!! Traveling thru Waco and found myself at this coffee shop. As I approached the counter the young man behind (I believe his name was Chandler) greeted me with a pleasant hello and a smile and we struck up a short conversation. After I sat down with my bagel and coffee I was near the counter and not intentionally but I watched Chandler great each customer with a smile and just genuine kindness as well as find something with each and every person to make a personal connection with in just the short minute while ordering.

As someone in the restaurant service business I was blown away by Chandlers people skills and wanted to let whomever know what an asset he is to the business.

“Heritage Cafe has a very nice ambience peaceful, clean, and beautifully decorated. I had an affogato and it was awesome! The flavor was rich and delicious. The espresso was a little on the bitter side, but still really nice.

The atmosphere made it such an enjoyable stop. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area!“

“It pains me to give them anything less than 5 star, but I needed to write something about how bad the pumpkin spice ground coffee you get from there is. Almost every other ground coffee is good. However, this year's seasonal is horrendously weaker and lacking of any actual coffee flavor. Again, everything else about this place is phenomenal and I highly recommend going here. Just do not get the seasonal roast.“

“Stopped in for a latte on my way to Austin. It was so wonderful I made it a point and stayed the night in Waco on the way back! Magnolia Press coffee was my first stop again this morning!!!! I had the honey bear latte and then today I had a Vanilla latte! Both times amazing. Both times wonderful customer connection and service. Both times the facility was busy and charming and clean! This will be a regular stop for me. As I will be traveling to Austin quite a bit now. I have MPC pinned as a new favorite!“

“Cute coffee shop that’s on campus. However, $7 for a small vanilla iced latte on a college campus is a bit steep…this coffee shop has been on campus for many years and has a unique characteristic to it but definitely was not expecting the price to go up to $7 for a small…

Having prices on the menu in the drive thru would be helpful too…the only prices available on the menu were their food items…their breakfast sando being like $6.50, lower cost than my coffee…“

“We stopped by this coffee shop while visiting Waco from further south. We got the lemon blueberry scone, pumpkin muffin, and 2 iced oat bonfire lattes. The scone was an absolutely delicious morning sweet treat. The pumpkin muffin was less sweet but equally tasty. The lattes sealed the deal that we will be back any chance we get!“

“Our family loves Cafe Cappuccino. The food is always delicious and the prices are super reasonable. The service is outstanding. My oldest has severe food allergies. This is the only place other than our own house and her Nonna’s house where she can eat pancakes safely. She is allergic to tree nuts and peanuts. They do have tree nuts in their kitchen but their chef is the best. They keep them separate. He cleans down the whole grill and makes sure it is safe for her. He even let me check the packaging on the batter to make sure it wasn’t in a facility with nuts. And the servers never sigh or look irritated when I tell them about her allergies and to make sure to let the kitchen know. They are always super nice and accommodating about it. That is not the usual experience at other restaurants. We have also gone several times with large groups of kids and they still are super sweet. I can’t recommend this place enough. It is our go-to place when we are downtown. If you haven’t tried it go because not only is the food delicious the people are fantastic. 💕 🥞 ☕️“

“I went In and order a coffee with cream, they had to brew coffee so it was a little wait which is perfectly fine. There was a lady in there who was so pleasant, she noticed me waiting asked me my name and what I got, looked for my order told me what was going on and presented me with my coffee when it was done and a little coupon for next time since I had to wait. “This place was AMAZING!!!! Great location, ample parking, plenty of tables for studying/reading/socializing. The food was phenomenal-I could eat 16 stick buns if left to my own devices. The baked oatmeal was delicious-it felt like I was eating a fall themed bread pudding. The cranberry and chocolate biscuit had a delightful flavor profile perfect for a chilly morning. The chia latte with pumpkin was ever PSL girl’s dream and the drip coffee was perfect.
The staff was SO sweet and made excellent recommendations and the menu was very versatile-ranging from vegan and vegetarian options all the way to breakfast tacos!

“I really like this Starbucks. Just now I had a miscommunication with the cashier, and she thought I said "Hot Chai" instead of "Hot Chocolate". I was quite nervous to go confront them about it, as I didn't know if they would be helpful, as Baylor as a whole can be quite intimidating. I asked one of them about it when they got a tad slower, and the lady behind the counter said " I THOUGHT YOU SAID THE OTHER THING AHH." I had my correct drink with no extra charge, nor hassle, in 2 minutes. plus a funny story.Starbucks will be something I miss a lot about Baylor.“

“Nice place, not for everyone. I’ve been here twice. Had good service both times. Good drinks. But the place isn’t for everyone. If you are a young, hip, millennial this is your place. Gen-X it’s okay, limited cocktails due to their serving only their specialty drinks. No food. If you wear a pop knot or a man bun you will fit in perfectly.“

“Riley went above and beyond for me. I asked if they had a dark roast available, and I mentioned they did not need to make a new batch for me. I would just take any Starbucks coffee, which is all good for me. When I got to the window she said she threw an extra shot in there for me, and that certainly is above and beyond with the customer service.

Another five star Starbucks location. There have only been a couple ( just 2 ) that I've been disappointed with out of the at least 100 that I've been to all over the country over the years. ...“
