24 Best Sandwich Shops in Waco

“I’ve always loved this local sandwich shop. The fresh made and unique bread is to die for! Anytime I’m in the mood for a sandwich, Schmaltz is top of mind. Perfect locations for a business lunch meeting as well“

“Hello, First time visiting this local restaurant. Nice and clean, minimal crowd. Food was good. Customer service was great. Food came out quickly. Presentation was good. Overall, restaurant food was good. I prefer a little more flavor / seasoning in my food. If you have not visited this restaurant, please look online or ask for a menu, because there are a lot of different options and they also have seasonal options. Again, this is only our experience / opinion on a Friday afternoon.

“OMG!!!!!!!! The Best Sandwich that I have ever had in my life 100/10“

“To The Corporate Office Of Subway,
I came into this location for the second time since y’all opened a year ago. The first experience a year ago was horrific. Tonight when I got off work I said “I am going to give this Subway another chance” so I stopped and am 100% satisfied x a billion w the steadfast professionalism of Terrance Bachman !! The store is a reflection of his work ethic and should be very valued by the higher ups. He has turned this store around since my last time being here. His mannerism and communication skills are impeccable and he is the reason the store shines just as good as the floors do. Absolutely spotless - he wore his gloves - he asked us how we wanted our sandwich vs telling us what we should eat ! This young man is the beacon of light here and I’m telling everybody to come to this Subway location off of 19th St in Waco, TX !! And to Terrance, you will always make your mark wherever you go, because good people know good people ! your energy is spot on and any company would be happy to have you as a part of their team !! Stay on top, because the bottoms too crowded ! God Bless you…

“The best deli place in town! Our favorite place to go, not to mention place is immaculate! Live it!“

“Good eats, staff friendly and personable. Shift manager remembers patrons, what they want and like.👍🏾“

“My sandwiches were great. It's a quaint subway.

It's attached to a convenience store, and you have to use their bathrooms.

The women's bathroom looked horrible, it was filthy, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks.

Unfortunately, i really needed to potty. I had to squat down, so as not to sit on the nasty toilet.“

“Miss these in Florida so we go anytime we visit other states that still have them open. Great pizza and sandwiches. Love their bread!“

“I absolutely love Subway and the staff at lunchtime on LaSalle. Bryce, the manager, has a delightful personality that has cheered me up many times and I'm sure he doesn't know it. I was a daily customer for a little while then stopped. When I returned, he remembered me asking where I had been and how I was while making sandwiches. I got to make him laugh for a change when I said my boss said I could leave my cage for lunch again. Lmbo. Thanks Bryce for brightening my days this past year...it's been a hard one for me but when I got to get subway for lunch, you made it a little better.

Parking: Parking is shared with 2 other businesses and can be hard to find a spot during lunch as students from Baylor as well as employees from surrounding businesses eat here.“

“This location goes above and beyond. The manager took our order and helped us by giving suggestions and ensuring that everything was freshly made and able to be customized.

Vegetarian options: Can be customized

Wheelchair accessibility: Has tables and not just booths for a wheelchair to fit in“

“We recently went to visit Houston and made the drive up to Waco. The Boss grilled cheese was incredible…in the top 2 favorite things at Magnolia. I wouldn’t have ever thought to put basil on a grilled cheese, it was so good that I was mad I offered to share with my husband!! The service here was also top notch. I highly recommend stopping in for something yummy?“
