“This seems to be a meeting place for friends. I saw several tables of 2 or more gentlemen enjoying coffee & breakfast together. There was another table of several family members. I noted the staff was familiar with what some of the patrons ordered on a regular basis & stopped & chatted for a bit. The food was good (the biscuits were soft all around, not hard on the bottom like some). I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns & a biscuit & gravy. The dining room appeared clean. Prices are reasonable. Would recommend.“
“We recently stopped in for a late lunch at Cotton Patch Café in Watauga. Service was fast and friendly. The chicken fried steak and sides were the best I’ve had anywhere in quite some time! Definitely worth going back to Watagua for another visit . Our servers, Matt and Brandon, made it a thoroughly pleasant experience. They recommended the large size meal, and we enjoyed the leftovers tonight… almost as much as being there.“

“Very delicious food, good portion for the price paid. If you order chicken regularly, they are at least 4 pieces. The waitress Savannah was very friendly and explained very well. They had no menu, no wifi. However, when I took the food in a bag, I forgot it on the table. When I returned, they had already thrown it away, but the manager gave me a complete meal just as I had ordered, as good as new. I thought it was a very good gesture. I definitely have one more place to visit more often.“

“We celebrated my husbands birthday at Jellicos. It was great, a hidden gem for sure. The poblano white bean dip was amazing! The filet mignon was delicious and tender. We had one little problem with the meats, I asked for the filet mignon to be medium well, and my husband wanted his T Bone to be medium, and they mixed those terms, the T bone also needed a bit more flavor but everything else was delicious. The servers and everyone were great, but Hala made the night special. What a sweet soul! She made sure my husband got a birthday cake and sang the song even when no one else joined! The curve lounge was packed, but it looked like fun, and prices were surprisingly low, we would come back and try the lounge too !“

We also tried chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and the cornbread —sweeeet!The rice was okay, but not our favorite.But guys, the sweet potatoes? Lord have mercy. These are divine.The dining room is under construction, so there’s no way to eat there now, but I’m sure the atmosphere will be lovely when they’re done. “Michael's is the place to go on Tuesday nights for their famous Prime Rib. We'd heard a lot about it and finally got our chance to enjoy a wonderful evening here. The service was great. Our server knew all about the menu and was very helpful in answering questions. I asked for an end cut of prime rib. I really like the crispy outside, and although its usually a little more toward the medium well side, it was delicious. My hubby ordered a 12 ounce portion, medium to medium rare. It arrived perfectlycooked and nestled on a bed of the best mashed potatoes around. The gravy was hot and flavorful as well.We'll be back soon to try more of the menu items. “I’m familiar with this place from one of their previous locations in Nashville well over 10 years ago, i was excited to see it here in DFW, it had been over 10 years since i got to taste it again, and it didn’t disappoint. It tasted exactly like I remembered from Nashville, The chicken is uniquely fried, blended with a great mix of spices for great flavors and a little heat. This is a good definition of southern comfort food. Their sweet tea, and Cole slaw are great! Worth a visit, it was a great mom and pop atmosphere, and the service is very friendly.“
