“Considered some of the best Tacos in Austin by so many! I AGREE! Authentic Mexican Street tacos are what I love. That being said, I must hold you to a higher standard and compare to tacos stands In Houston, San Antonio, and Southern California. It was a Tuesday so I was able to get Tripas and I heard Buche was on point here as well. I requested my Tripas tacos to be “crispy” like I always do. They came over burnt. Fortunately, I like burnt flavors, but not as overwhelming on my Tripas. I picked out some of the more over burnt pieces. I’ll have to give a 3 star for the Tripas Tacos. Buche tacos and the Salsa did redeem the meal.“

“Very nice and polite staff that makes you feel at home. Tried the ribs which were very tender and juicy but a too little salty for me. The brisket was great, and I would highly recommend. Great place to eat but bring your patience because there will be a line.“

“A friend told us these were the best fish tacos in the world, and that it was a family run food truck next two some others that we couldn't miss... and he was right. When a place makes 4 things and people keep coming back, you know it's good. The service and owners of this food truck are the sweetest and the fish taco of course is the star. The tortilla to the crisp of the fish, to the freshness of the cabbage... yum! The ceviche toastada was also a surprising hit, and was well balanced texturally, and in lightness, seasoning and just the right amount of acid. It was also swealtering when we went and the coolness of that toastada really hit the spot.“

“The corn tortillas were better than any I’ve ever had. The salsa was fresh, still hot, literally saw them pouring it out of the blender. They only do pastor on Saturday, but the rest of the menu was to die for as well. They said they constantly rotate for whatever is in season. I believe this is the best taco joint in Austin right now and will easily win the argument with anyone by having them go there once and then watch them join the team!“

“It's National Burrito Day, so you know we have to hit it up at Asado's. Yes. We gave up deals at Free Birds and Chipotle, because you'll never be disappointed by Dan's crispy burritos. I stand by that. Cabobob's I see you, and I haven't forgotten about you. These burritos are simple and unique. It's clear the aim is not to provide food that is "insta worthy", but rather food that is accessible, convenient, and straight up good. Always order for crispy style. Imagine a wrapped burrito and then seared between a flat spatula and flat stove surface on all sides. Adds the texture you'd miss from the traditional burrito you're used to. The salsa has an especially zesty taste of lime. Honestly, you don't even need the chips, the salsa is good enough to eat by the spoonful (although, I mostly put it on my burrito). The super version does offer the gooey presence of cheese and avocado, for an up charge.“

“Amazing tacos !! The best tacos in Austin !! But what makes this place so special is the chef lady ! She is such a sweet person, my family absolutely loved her (especially our 14 month- old son). A must try taco spots in Austin. I would recommend this place to anyone.“

“This will hit the spot every time. Best known for their bacon wrapped hotdogs, they are great at other Sonoran delights - don’t sleep on their version of carne asada. The addition of the lightly pickled cucumber (I can truly call them pickles - way too fresh) was an excellent addition. The way the cucumber and cabbage brine cut through the delicious fatty meat was wonderful. The owner is caring and clearly passionate.Nice “communal playground” but very dangerous for kids to get to and from on their own. Weird set up on the playground access. (Which has nothing to do with the owner of the restaurant nor the rating of this particular spot - just something to be aware of if you come here with kids.)Vegetarian options: I think there may be ways to modify options but nothing jumped out at me as vegetarian or vegan friendly. There is another food truck that is all vegetarian about 3 trucks down though.Dietary restrictions: The owner was awesome and immediately worked to understand my needs and meet them. High probability of cross contamination for gluten free people.Parking: There is a limited free lotKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. But be careful about that playground- not set up in a safe way in relationship to the parking lot and food vendors.Wheelchair accessibility: I would say this whole food trailer park would be very challenging to Anyone with mobility issues.“

“Right in the center of East Austin, in a lively neighborhood for extra bar hopping. Great selection of beers, brewed freshly in house. Lots of seating inside / outside. Cozy & laidback environment. One of most popular places among locals, rightfully deserved to be so ??“

“The birria tacos were a miracle to behold. So much flavor, the cheese was rich, the meat fell apart (actually not like usual like it was exceptionally tender) and the service was top notch, very warm and kind! They have a great covered patio to eat on and the food came out super quick. I really can’t say enough about the flavor though. Even the tortilla was perfectly crisp, not crunchy, not soggy, exactly how you would want it. Even coming from San Antonio which has great tacos compared to Austin, Taquito Aviles is the best I’ve had ever. I’m in shock.“

“Eating the Quesadeyaya as I write this review. It simply couldnt wait! I am very impressed with the quality of the food. Bought this meal through our lunchdrop system and usually the food is a bit cold but not this quesadilla. The torilla has a homemade taste to it, the meat is nice and tender and both green and orange salas were so tasty. I cannot wait to take my partner here and try the flautas and California burrito.“

“It was our first time at Torchy’s, and we loved it! Came in for the breakfast tacos and they were so yummy. The employee at the register was welcoming while taking our order and when Delia 32 brought our food out, she was very kind and engaging, ensuring our order was correct and talking to us about the area. Always great having welcoming smiles when visiting a a new place and being from out of town. Gracias Delia 32!“

“Incredible culinary experience. Their tripitas tacos are, without a doubt, the best and finest I've ever had. After sampling tacos from numerous establishments here in ATX, I must say that Las Trancas truly stands out as the champion. The diverse range of offerings on their menu and the affordability of their prices make them not only a personal favorite but also a standout in the local dining scene. Their presence has undoubtedly enriched my life, and for that, I am immensely grateful. As a devoted fan of their establishment, I believe the time has come for Las Trancas to consider expanding its reach. I wholeheartedly urge you to venture northward and consider opening a second location. There is undoubtedly a hungry and appreciative audience awaiting your delicious creations. I have no doubt that with your exceptional food and exceptional service, a new location would be a resounding success. Your unique flavors deserve to be shared with a wider audience, and I am confident that the community up north would welcome you with open arms.Thank you once again, Las Trancas team, for the joy you bring through your tacos. I look forward to the possibility of savoring your delectable dishes at a new location in the near future.“

“The only answer is YES, yes to going, yes to trying all the things on the menu, yes. Shoutout to 512AustinBites for showcasing this place on Instagram recently and bringing it to my attention. I saw it at night and immediately went to try it out for lunch! My plus one and I got the carne asada fries, the dogstin, the OG, and the Gorditas. The gorditas are not in the menu, you have to ask if they have them available that day. We got lucky and I was so happy we could try them. I will definitely be coming back to try more things as everything looks great. Super great owner! Worth the drive from wherever you reside!“

“As much as I would love to keep this hidden taqueria a secret, it's been posted by way too many "influencers" to do so! What truly captivates me about Taqueria 10 de 10 is its unapologetic authenticity. Most of the staff's native tongue is Spanish, but that bona fides the experience. Trust the expertise of the staff, hand over your ticket, and revel in the culinary masterpieces they deliver. Following our meal, my friends and I had the pleasure of meeting Raul, the dreamy owner of Taqueria 10 de 10. We learned about his vision of bringing a piece of his Mexican homeland to Austin, a vision unfulfilled by other establishments in the area. That's where Taqueria 10 comes in. Not only does Raul offer delectable tacos around the clock, but also boasts a bar and a club, making it a true destination for those seeking an authentic taste of Mexico and a vibrant nightlife experience.“

“We've been visiting Jefeberto's often in the past year and absolutely love their offerings. I generally order the carnitas breakfast burrito with bacon and it's always made to perfection. We grew up in SoCal and have been craving a breakfast burrito close to what I used to get in LA or SD. Thanks Jeff and fam for making our bellies happy!“

“Delicious little tacos! They're definitely worth coming out and trying. I was surprised by how long of a wait it took to get an order of 8 little tacos. About 25 minutes! While they were worth the wait, it would've been good to know they'd take this long. We were hoping to try Cuantos Tacos as well and they closed at 8pm too. We probably would've ordered a bit more!“

“Tacos are large and flavorful. My favorite is the Abuela. Other taco spots offer choice for 2 shells for tacos. Granny's could benefit from this as you will get messy eating with your hands. Also (at least with Abuela) no salsa is needed. Chips and guacamole are good choice for side.Vegetarian options: Only 1 choice for vegetarian taco which can be selected as breakfast (with eggs) or lunch (with beans)“

“Overall experience was a 5 as all three of us loved what we ordered! Service was slow after we first ordered to the point I had to get up to ask about some drinks, hence the 4 stars here. Can't go wrong with the carnitas, camote or barbacoa tacos. We also devoured the de nada trio! All delish. Out of towner was delighted!!! I didn't love the cider margarita and that was the only f&b downside. Can't wait to go back and try some other things. And take some better pics. Not sure why these are tinted green.“

“Only giving 4 stars and not five because I asked if "el big Kahuna" had breakfast sausage (ground pork sausage) or BBQ sausage (sausage links) and was told it was breakfast sausage but got BBQ sausage. It was still delicious as was everything else. I also had the barbacoa and the I♡bacon. If you have the opportunity, don't pass this up. Great price and delicious, hospitable and while we were here it wasn't busy but I imagine there may be problems with seating on a busy day. Or maybe not. They are quick and courteous, so maybe the atmosphere stays fluid and not to congested. Enjoy!“

“I had the tastiest tacos here and for good prices! Given that the tacos are reasonably sized, I think you'd get your money's worth.3 tacos is enough to fill me up. And for a first-timer, I'd recommend the bistec, chicken, and suadero tacos. The service is also great, really nice people.“

“Quick and convenient service! I always order over the phone when I’m craving, 20 mins later I have great tacos! My recommendation is the pastor and tripas tacos! ? I think it’s a bit pricey but torchy’s down the street is charging $5-$7 per taco. Might as well support a small business! The portion sizes are great and they always add radish/ cucumber/ or avocado to the plate. If you’re lucky, all 3! I have been here already 6 times and have had a great experience time after time!“

“The food was amazing the first time here, but I don't know what happened the most recent visit. “Came from the tuna melt but they were out. So I got the Brisket Brioche Banh mi instead, which was good. I gave it 4 stars because while the food and the service was great, there were a lot of flies hovering around our food and we were sitting in doors. If they could find a solution to that, it'll be great. Besides that, I'll be back (to try the tuna melt) and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a great sandwich spot.“

“As an avid fan of delicious food, it's hard not try these extravaganza of flavor options. Also they're open late and quality is always high. The visits I made were during SXSW at the busiest peaks and they still brought fantastic service. I don't think there's much anyone could do in that atmosphere of waves of customers... It's just very very busy. Get in, get on it, get out full.“

“I fell in love with Armando’s with the first bite. Amazing quality, very reasonable pricing, and operators who care about their service. I can’t say enough great things about their food. “I stopped by to try the asada fries on a weekday mid-afternoon. There was only 1 person in line then shortly after a couple more customers came in. Orders were taken promptly and there was a reasonable wait time before your order was ready. I added extra queso to my fries just in case. To my surprise my order was fully loaded! The fries were fresh, if I'm not mistaken they were made to order. I had plenty meat, queso, avocado and pico. I really enjoyed the fries and will definitely return when the craving hits again.“

“Absolutely amazing! I love the El Pastor on corn, with a bottled Coke. Both of their salsas are delicious and wonderful together too. To make it that much better, the couple that run the taqueria are the sweetest. Sit under an umbrella at one of the picnic tables or grab it to go; the tacos are hot, and the drinks are cold. It's a cute little taco trailer in the parking lot of an automotive garage. So, wear your comfy shoes, park down the little residential street. I started eating here about a year ago, when my office moved. I eat here regularly and have never gotten sick or had any problems because of the food; and honestly, that's refreshing. ??“

“We ordered bfast tacos here via Yelp/grub hub at around 10 am on a Saturday. The wait was short. We got a migas taco and two Al pastor tacos plus an horchata. The horchata was huge! Well worth the price. The tacos were not as big as I was expecting. I am a light eater and felt as I needed two. The Yelp/grub hub status said it would take around 30-45 minutes, but it was much faster than that so I would disregard the time in the status.“

“First visit, just an impulsive thing.... We ate the vegetarian taco (fried avocado), chicken taco, and the bistec taco. The prices were so low that I expected them to be simple bare tacos but, instead, they were really beautiful and sophisticated tacos. The meats were lean and flavorful. The salsas (doña, habanero, and tomatillo) were all really good. Wonderful experience.“

“Busy and lively restaurant, with great customer service and scratch made food. I went for one of their specialty brunch tacos, along with their version of a pig in a blanket (slices of ham wrapped inside of a pancake). The Mrs. went for an egg BLT. The BLT did come dressed with mustard, which did come to a surprise, but she overall enjoyed it.I enjoyed my pig in a blanket, as the pancake tasted great and overall a good portion of food. I was however not too thrilled about the specialty taco, as the brisket chunks were dry. Every other component was exceptional though. In the end, I recommend.4.5/5“
