“My first encounter was dinner brought to me from a friend after I had surgery. When I was finally able to get to the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised at what they offered. THH has a bigger menu than I expected. Pancakes, breakfast tacos, lunch plates and much more. Recently I was at a women’s event and it was catered by THH. They did an amazing job serving 120 ladies and can also do smaller events like bridal/wedding parties for morning of events. They also sponsored a 5k run we had. Rob and his crew are great to work with. 👍🏻👍🏻“

Their asada tacos were good but their pastor tacos is where it's at. If I was on death row, those tacos would be my last meal. “Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line“

“Great food—especially the tacos and elote, which are my favorites. The only downside was the service. The person at the front seemed annoyed and disengaged, and it showed in the experience. He forgot to include a fork with my order. I left but stopped to check, and I know he watched me. Before I even mentioned anything, I went back and he just handed me a fork without saying a word or acknowledging me. It felt rushed and unwelcoming, like he didn’t want to interact at all. He was annoyed at being there and weirdly passive aggressive about it. I went on Saturday April 11 at 6pm.“

“The best truck in the neighborhood. We've been eating here for the last 5 years. The birria tacos are phenomenal. The pozole is fantastic. All the tacos and quesadillas are great. In the winter months he'll sometimes treat you to a taste of consomme or pozole broth to stay warm as you wait for your order. And beyond that, Mario and his team are so kind and accommodating.“

“I first tried T-Loc’s in 2015, when I was in my final semester at TXST, and an apprentice to a business in ATX. My mentor brought me to T-Loc’s after a tough week and since, it’s become one of my favorites! I’d never had a Sonoran hotdog or anything like it and couldn’t believe I’d been missing out! The food is ALWAYS fresh, delicious and consistent. I love this place so much that I hired T-Loc’s to cater a private, professional event in October 2024 and I don’t have enough positive things to say. Miguel and his team are incredibly professional, timely and efficient. This was my first event to plan and execute all on my own and naturally, when last minute obstacles popped up, Miguel stepped in and he quite literally saved the day. I’m so grateful for this amazing team and all they did for me to ensure the event was a success, means the world. As long as I’m breathing, anytime I’m in ATX, a T-Loc’s trip is on the docket!“

“We stopped by Torchy’s Tacos for a casual meal together after being apart for a while, and it ended up being the perfect choice. Sometimes it's not just about the food—it's about the atmosphere, the people, and the memories you make while you're there. This place delivered on all of that.

The suadero taco is good , but nothing like Cuantos Tacos level , and the asada taco were okay , nothing special.
AND Both salsas are fire , as the kids say.

“I purchased 10 tacos with fajita meat. I was served on two separate plates, five tacos on each plate, and was surprised that she put cucumber and radish on top. Because I'd never really tried radish before I gave it a try, and learned that, no, I do not like radish. However, I really really enjoyed the sliced cucumber in my taco. You wouldn't think that it would work, but it did. The meat was marinated wonderfully, the tacos were absolutely delicious. The lady who took my order was very very nice. There were four tables available, but the wind was just so cold we couldn't really enjoy our food there. Otherwise, on a less windy warmer day, I think it would make a wonderful place for a picnic.“

“Whoaaaa! Who knew?! This place is fantastic. The owner is so cordial and welcoming, I decided to give Saxx's Taco a try. I'm to glad* did.

I got the patty melt and it came with fries. You order at the counter of the restaurant and then pay at the cash register of the convenience store.

Everything is made to order by the owner. The mushrooms and onions were grill, the burger had good seasoning, and of course it was on Texas Toast.

Crinkle cut fries are my favorite and these did not disappoint. They were hot, crispy and well seasoned too.

The have plenty of options between burgers, tacos, and even have vegetarian options too.

Sometimes you just happen upon a place that outshines it's location, and Saxx's is an excellent example of what that means.“

“We hosted 110 people for our son's Friday night dinner before his Bar Mitzvah at Fairways and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience. From the beginning of the process Sam was attentive, helpful, informative, and calm. The night of the event went seamlessly with friendly staff, delicious food, and a beautiful sunset. We rented some games to have around the pavilion for all of the kids. We even did family photos around the property before the event started.

Our guests were able to sit under the pavilion as well as on their wrap around porch. Food was served buffet-style indoors. The buffet remained well-stocked and delicious.

They had black, elastic table covers to elevate the picnic tables during the event too, which was a nice touch.

It really was a wonderful night for us and our guests.

And so help he if I dont order the corn fritters. And as a patron of many years, the food is consistent. They dont have bad days, the cook is consistent, the flavor is there.“

“A great find. I had nopales and egg, bacon and egg and chicken fajitas all on corn. Authentic and delicious. A dollar is added for card purchases which I don’t blame them for. Small businesses have to pay so much when cards are used. Bring cash if you don’t want that charge but know it’s totally worth the price. Each taco was $4 and i highly recommend this tiny truck off of N Lamar. Support small local businesses!“

“This might be my favorite Mexican food spot in Austin, and is one of my favorites in all of Austin in general. The food is just so flavorful, so well spiced. The sauces that come with the tacos and burrito is very good. I usually go for the al pastor tacos, or the carnitas, or the chicken fajita tacos. I also love their horchata. Very affordable dining spot as well. Writing this review because I want them to stick around with all of the new development that's in the area.“
