“I always have such a positive experience at this Starbucks location. The food is great, the service is outstanding, and the staff is top quality. Life has been challenging lately as I go through a divorce, losing my home I loved, while caring for my elderly parents, my sister who is disabled and bedridden, and my 18-year-old senior dog. With so much on my plate, it means the world to start my mornings here. A friendly smile, delicious food, and kind people truly set the tone for my day and give me the energy to care for my family and keep going.

“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. I'll stop at Alpha again - to try the Poly! :)“

Me and my fiancé went over this morning to try them out since we saw the amazing reviews online. Let me just say that they DID NOT disappoint!

I had the Roasted Marshmallow Latte with Oat-milk and whipped cream, it was deliciously sweet and really hit my sweet tooth craving. My fiancé had their Churro Latte with Oat-milk and whipped cream, which I also tried and it was fantastic too! It tasted just like a Churro, but not overly sweet either so just the perfect blend.

Now the food was to DIE for! We had their Ham and Cheese Croissant with Munster Cheese and the Nutella Strawberry and Whipped Cream Croissant (Strawberries were fresh!). Both were just the BEST Croissants we have had in a very long time!!

Also the Barista was so sweet and patient with us as we were ordering our food and drinks. Even gave us great suggestions on what would be best with our flavor palate!

Definitely a must have spot if you live here in Utah or if you are visiting the State. ❤️“

“This is a lovely place to get coffee. The overall goal to help animals in shelters in Utah is amazing and speaks loudly to my heart. They have monthly fun drinks that are very creative and exciting to try. The staff is always kind, helpful and laid back, also very efficient. Whether you're local or from out of town. “We do not dine out often due to the poor food quality of many restaurants; however, when our friends found this organic, gluten-free diner, I was intrigued. The food was an absolute celebration of life. Delectable delights danced on an ambrosial causeway of artistic creation few eateries achieve. Our table ordered a variety of entrees and drinks. We started with complimentary chips, avocado and verde sauce. Very tasty. For the main course, I choose enchiladas and was curious about the horchata (rice milk soaked in cream with cinnamon), so I had this as well. Normally, I do not order specialty drinks, but their horchata was an exceptional experience as was the hand-squeezed limeade. I highly recommend both. Reading many of the other reviews that criticized the room temperature water, the service, and the ambiance, I must adamantly disagree. The best temperature for water when dining is room temperature. And their water is finely filtered and refreshing. The service may be perceived as slow, but I love being left to chat and laugh with my party. I relish this time. A meal out should be relaxing in a friendly, pleasant atmosphere without feeling rushed—and it was. The dining area is a little noisy, like most restaurants in this country. As an experienced sound engineer, I would recommend some sound absorbers blended into the corners, some appropriate picturesque art absorbers on the walls, and maybe a row of carpet down the main walkway to absorb sound and define the lovely wait staff’s path. The price: well worth it. You will not be disappointed. Spend without regret, and enjoy the articulation of tastes that shall frolic upon thy palate. “i stopped here on a business trip missing the local coffee shops back home in nyc. i absolutely loved this coffee shop and hope to go back next time i’m in SLC :) i ordered the mexican vanilla latte and the barista recommended the blueberry muffin, both were incredible and i finished them in seconds lol. i had to get a muffin to go for my coworker it was so good. the quality of the coffee here is amazing. i love the decor and branding inside. very nice local vibe, good music, and the outdoor area looked cozy, too. the staff were so kind as well. thank you for the hospitality! this was my favorite coffee of my trip.“

“TENET is the cutest place! It’s connected to Torrent Cycle and I met the owner Mike and he’s so kind! I got a fresh pumpkin muffin right out of the oven and it was DIVINE. So flavorful and moist. I also loved their zucchini muffin. I ordered the PBC chocolate peanut butter shake because it has 33g of protein and it did not disappoint. This place is tucked away and is truly a hidden gem of Salt Lake! Definitely worth stopping by. I want to try their paninis next time.“

“MiaoMiao Cafe is such an amazing spot for cat lovers! 🐾 The space is super clean, cozy, and welcoming, and the owners are so kind and clearly care deeply for their cats. The café and cat house are in two connected houses (separate spaces), and you can bring your drink inside when you visit the cats. All of the cats were sweet, playful, and cuddly you can tell they’re well-loved. They even had kittens available when we went! Just a heads up: not everything on the food menu may be available, but honestly, the coffee and drinks are 10/10, and that alone made it worth it for us. We didn’t get to try the food this time, but we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and heartwarming experience!“

“I come here all the time! Truthfully I have been to other coffee shops Downtown and none compare. The barista, Nate, is the best! He is super friendly and always asks me about my day! He has helped broaden my understanding of coffee and helped me diversify my order :) I now time my visits when I know he will be there as he feels like a friend at this point. “This place checks all my boxes. Wish I hadn’t just discovered it the day before I leave Salt Lake. The coffee is really nice—a good roast and well prepared. The pastry is great too, I had the blueberry muffin per staff recommendation and it was so light and fluffy with an interesting salty-sweet streusel topping. The atmosphere is a 10/10 too; the inside is cool without being obnoxious and the two outdoor seating areas are very private with hedges planted around.“

“Ok this place is legit. We just got take out but we'll be going back and having brunch there for sure. My friend got the French toast meal. Straightforward regular French toast. No bells or whistles, just really good bread dipped on a really good custard base and pan fried. Scrambled eggs were perfect and the bacon looked amazing. The fact that she was almost euphoric while eating it says it all.
I got the corned beef hash. OMG. Best corned beef hash I've had in a long time. Chunks of homemade corned beef shredded among potatoes, Bell peppers, onions and mushrooms. And over easy eggs that even after a nearly 10 minute drive home still had runny yokes. The only way it could have been better would have been to eat there and indulge in some should beverages with our brunch. 10/10 will be making this a regular brunch location.
Like I said we did take out, but the atmosphere makes us want to go back and never leave.“

“Well, if you count a muffin or cookie, homemade qualty...yummy...then it is a yes for food. I love their coffee! It is simply my favorite of any place in Salt Lake. The customer service has always been excellent. It is a drive thru, and they are very efficient. The sweetener of our choice is Equal, and they don't carry it. Very few places do since Covid. We carry our own with us ...so there is no problem with that!“
