“We took our parents here to celebrate their 50th anniversary and couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience! The chef helped us find the perfect table while making the reservation, stopped at our table before the meal to greet us and offer his congratulations to our parents (and a rose to our mom), and again afterward to make sure everything had been perfect. Our waitress, Kelcey, was perfectly attentive. She was there for whatever we needed but didn’t hover. She made suggestions and was pleasantly social. The food was all beautiful and delicious! Definitely the fanciest any of us had ever eaten. We got the sampler platter and enjoyed trying lots of different things that we might not have usually picked. The burrata and sundried tomatoes were personal favorites and I was surprised to learn that I like smoked salmon! There were 8 of us and almost everyone picked something different and then let everyone at the table taste and everything was yummy! We provided a special cake that they were happy to bring out to us at the end of the meal and had even fancied the tray up to make it even more fancy. Overall, it was AMAZING! Can’t wait for another special occasion so that we can go back!”

“My wife and I are new to the St. George area and we looked around for a special restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We decided on the Painted Pony and we were so pleased that we did. Everything about the Painted Pony spoke to quality from the greeting we received at the entrance to the very pleasant waiter and most importantly the food was first class as well. We were so pleased that we returned a second time for Christmas eve. Five stars !!”

“I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience deserves it. Our bartender wasn’t just good—she was LEGENDARY. From the moment I sat down, Mindy had that perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. Drinks? Flawless. Service? Fast, attentive, and genuinely warm.
But then it happened. The zombie invasion.
Most bartenders can shake a cocktail, but how many can save an entire restaurant from the walking dead? Mindy didn’t panic. She didn’t flinch. She grabbed a bar spoon like it was Excalibur, rallied the staff and customers, and turned what could’ve been the end of humanity into the best happy hour I’ve ever attended. Not only did she keep the drinks flowing, she kept us alive.

If you’re looking for the best service of your life—and a bartender who can hold her own during the apocalypse, go see Mindy. This is your spot. I’d give her 10 stars if I could.”

“Stopped here as we were passing through to Salt Lake. Overall, I would say it was pretty delicious. I ordered to Avocloud smoothie. It was pretty delicious; however, I wish I would have ordered it without the cream as it was a tiny bit to cream forward for me.

The person I was with got some variation of their coffee drink. It was a bit watery. I think we’d do a blended drink instead next time.

Their boba was pretty mid. They were flavorless and too chewy. If I was in the area again, I would probably still stop here.”

“The only pie I will eat! I am not a pie fan, but once I tasted Croshaw’s pies in St. George, UT just off bluff street, I have been converted. I’ve tried other local pie shops and this one takes the cake - or pie 🤪- the crust is so delicious and flakey. I highly recommend the sour cream lemon pie. It’s perfectly sweet and tart. I also recommend trying the chicken pot pie. It’s incredible. The perfect comfort food. 10/10 mom and pop shop in southern Utah! Definitely a hidden gem.”

I’m very proud of him for putting himself out there, but Eden made such a difference in his experience and that means a lot to us. Give the girl a raise.”

“It's been almost a year since My Fiance and I were treated very badly by a Waitress. We decided to give this Denny's another chance hoping that the girl does not work there anymore. I had given this Denny's a one star review because of the Unethical treatment by that Employee in October of 2021. Well, thankful to Naima Our Waitress, this Truly Amazing Lady has totally renewed Our Faith in this Establishment. We could not have felt more welcomed than Naima made us feel. She was pleasant, accommodating, personable and made us feel very important and checked on us frequently. She made our visit so comfortable and enjoyable that we didn't want to leave. A big Thank You to Naima. Denny's is so very fortunate to have her on their Team. We will be coming back frequently in the future and hope that we can ask for her.”

Felt bad for the waitress as she tried her best but she was too just to give refills on a Saturday night with half the restaurant to wait on.
