The floors, the walls, the counter walls, and especially the bathroom are getting dirty looking with stains that it's making me feel gross looking around while waiting for my drink.“

“I went through the drive through two days in a row while I was in town for work. The workers went quickly and get my sausage egg and cheese biscuit to me in a hurry and while it was still piping hot.
I love the flavor of the sausage egg and cheese biscuit sandwiches! The biscuit is so buttery, light and fluffy! So many other biscuits are too dry, flour tasting or overcooked and crunchy. These were buttery with delicious flavor and a light crisp.
Do yourself a favor and buy yourself one of these babies today!“

“I live in Colorado and never heard of Alpha Coffee. I visited Salt Lake City, and friend recommended we meet at the downtown location. I ordered an "Aztec" and it was great. Something different, new and tasty for me. I liked the drink, the vibe and the servers ... the whole experience was great! I look forward to my next visit to SLC. “Dropped in here just before closing. Staff (assuming it was the owner) was very friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation as I wanted to try something different. He was spot on with the Lavender latte which was very delicious. He even gave my son a popsicle while we waited. The place has a variety of drinks no matter what your looking for. If your in the area I highly recommend stopping and picking up a drink or tasty treat.“

“The service was out of this world! Adorable and welcoming staff. Coffee was amazing but what I loved the most was the crew at the counter! I had a big bandaid on my chin that was falling off (had no idea). The adorable barista told me and got two new bandaids for me! I will be back and if you’re reading this, you should go! Top notch spot!“

“A favorite of mine since I lived in the avenues 15 years ago, this coffeeshop has the best community feeling, the most lively energy, and most laidback vibe. Lots of seating for a small space, and more comfortable than most. I love to write here, and this is one of those places where I mysteriously do my best work. Even though it's not quiet, the ambient noise is perfect.

My favorite drink is dairy-free dirty chai Cubano-style. The flavors of chai, espresso, brown sugar, and cinnamon are like angels serenading my taste buds. I love the artwork, and how the community board is right up front.

The only negative is that it's kind of impersonal to order on a tablet. I don't mind, since ordering food or drink gives me low-grade social anxiety, but I know customers who feel a lack of connection. The ordering system has the potential to cause confusion, like when I bring a personal cup, they don't use it. That is my one critique.“

“The atmosphere is cute. Street parking for 15 minutes which is nice for when youre just popping in to grab coffee to go.

I wanted a frozen mocha but they didnt have those, staff was very friendly though and gave me alternative options. I appreciate the clear communication. The iced mocha is still pretty good“

“I was really surprised to find this jewel in the Avenues! This Publik is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, and the building is retro-looking (looks like something you'd see on American Pickers). It's small looking on the outside, but surprisingly large on the inside with a nice outside seating area hidden from the outside by tall hedges. And here's the kicker...I had one of THE BEST coffees I've ever had (a brown-buttered something latte). Friendly staff, great atmosphere, easy parking, and for a Sunday morning the place was hopping! I will be returning there several times a week! Highly recommend. (Btw, the images I've attached are awful, need to clean my phone lens.)“

“I picked up a couple of bags of beans here while on a work trip and WOW, the beans are good. The staff was friendly and more than knowledgeable on their numerous roasts. They roast daily and are packaged to order when you order. It has been my favorite coffee beans I have found on any work trip thus far, including my trips to Guatemala! Don’t walk, run to this roaster and pick up a few bags. You will not be disappointed!!“

“During my EAE undergraduate life Brio coffee was my place to buy drinks from because: 1. More quantity for affordability (compare to Starbucks). 2. Good quality matcha. 3. Friendly service. 4. Unexpected FREE donuts day. I enjoyed the random game reference drawings to represent each season of the year too.“

“We stopped here just to get a drink, but we ended up getting the ham and Swiss croissants. After driving off and having a bite or two, we decided we needed more of those. We drove back through the drive thru again and ordered 4 more croissants and another large drink. Huge selection of drinks, smoothies, etc. And they are open on Sundays, that's a big plus too. We actually went to Post Malone's Raising Cane's before we came here, but we weren't feeling it, so we ended up here, and it was so worth it.“

“This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

“Stoped by for a breakfast croissant with eggs and bacon. The staff was kind and helpful to take my order while I was multi tasking on a call. I love getting fresher baked goods and this place was fabulous. A definite place to try if you’re in town.“

“One of our favorite brunch places! Delicious food and great vibes, live music most Saturday mornings. We highly recommend the ‘croast’ (avocado toast but on a croissant), gawdaful (savory crepe with chili) and basically any sweet crepe. If you’re into coffee, they have really unique flavors like smoked cherry. And in the summer they are open almost every day!“

“We got the cup of fruit tea and the mango orange green tea. Both were pretty good. Btw I asked if they use real fruit or syrup in their smoothies and beware because they said syrup. I’m assuming the same goes for their teas (most tea places use syrup to flavor their teas so it’s not necessarily a bad thing). Bathroom was also very clean. Overall good tea place. I found it a bit off that they were playing rock music at a tea place. I would prefer some kpop or cafe music. But the music is not a dealbreaker for me.“

“High quality food for a fair price. Every meal feels like it's crafted perfectly! Each dish feels well thought out, and shines through with cohesive elements. I appreciate the portion sizes. Not too much, and not too little; just right. Our table got the ginger sesame salad w/shrimp, cilantro lime salad w/chicken, sharable brussels sprouts, chicken pot pie soup, lemon ricotta cookie, and a licac fizz specialty drink. All of it was amazing!! And you can never go wrong with any of their salads. The stand out was their brussels sprouts. They were bursting with savory, roasted flavor! The service was great. They were friendly and timely. Finally, the ambiance is fun, stylish, and classy, but not stuffy.“
