Every drink I've had has been great and while it is a little pricey, I understand and appreciate the quality ingredients being used (I watched as the local milk delivery happened and can see that they are supporting local businesses, which is great).

But the long waits in line are what have me hesitating a next visit. Every time I go, I wait at least 7-10 minutes just to place an order. Not because theres a long line, but because they have on person up front taking orders AND making drinks. And then it takes another 7-10 minutes to get my drink. Wish you would figure out your work flow a little better.“

“TENET is the cutest place! It’s connected to Torrent Cycle and I met the owner Mike and he’s so kind! I got a fresh pumpkin muffin right out of the oven and it was DIVINE. So flavorful and moist. I also loved their zucchini muffin. I ordered the PBC chocolate peanut butter shake because it has 33g of protein and it did not disappoint. This place is tucked away and is truly a hidden gem of Salt Lake! Definitely worth stopping by. I want to try their paninis next time.“

“Stopped by Coffee Noir this morning before my hike, and I immediately understood why it’s such a local favorite. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, it has that cozy, hidden-gem feel. The indoor space is on the smaller side, but the seating is thoughtfully arranged and the patio is absolutely adorable.

I ordered the JCCC, and it was the perfect balance of sweet without being overpowering, and it came out fast, which was much appreciated before hitting the trail. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and an easy place to love. I’d absolutely go back.“

They only had one roast to choose from, and the staff was fine, not very fun and bubbly like your typical coffee shop. “MiaoMiao Cafe is such an amazing spot for cat lovers! 🐾 The space is super clean, cozy, and welcoming, and the owners are so kind and clearly care deeply for their cats. The café and cat house are in two connected houses (separate spaces), and you can bring your drink inside when you visit the cats. All of the cats were sweet, playful, and cuddly you can tell they’re well-loved. They even had kittens available when we went! Just a heads up: not everything on the food menu may be available, but honestly, the coffee and drinks are 10/10, and that alone made it worth it for us. We didn’t get to try the food this time, but we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing, and heartwarming experience!“

“The coffee is good and the service is friendly. However, all 3 times I've come in there's been a miscommunication with my drinks.
1st time a medium is a 12 oz, not a 16 oz. okay my bad.
2nd time I said a large, got given a 12 oz.
3rd time said a 16 oz hot caramel, was given a cold. They did remake it, but it's a regular latte with no flavor 💀.“

“This is going to be a long review. When you first walk in you are met with a delicious aroma of fresh bread, and pastries. The staff beats you with such sincerity that you feel like your family. I had called to put in a large catering order Tuesday afternoon right before closing; Wednesday was a holiday and I needed it by Thursday morning. They had everything boxed up ready to go…. Only for me to realize the coolers I bought were not big enough for a box. They offered to repackage everything into smaller boxes. The smaller boxes worked perfectly. While I waited I ordered the Turkey, avocado, bacon sandwich. I can honestly say that was the best turkey avocado, bacon sandwich I have ever eaten. As I write this, I am thinking of how delicious that sandwich was and trying to convince myself that a 50 mile drive for a sandwich is a bit much. The turkey was a thicker cut, juicy, flavorful, and it had that Thanksgiving roasted flavor to it. The bacon Cooked perfectly, not too crisp so you don’t chip a tooth , and not underdone where it is chewy. The avocado was fresh, and it was ripened to the perfect stage. The sandwich also contained some lettuce, and a dressing, which was delicious. All of this delectable goodness placed on fresh bread. The bread had a perfect crunchy outer crust While the inside was soft. The bread itself had an amazing flavor to it with all the seeds and nuts in it made a perfect sandwich. I will write a follow up after the party tonight. It will include photos.“

“I picked up a couple of bags of beans here while on a work trip and WOW, the beans are good. The staff was friendly and more than knowledgeable on their numerous roasts. They roast daily and are packaged to order when you order. It has been my favorite coffee beans I have found on any work trip thus far, including my trips to Guatemala! Don’t walk, run to this roaster and pick up a few bags. You will not be disappointed!!“

“Forty-Three Bakery has the most amazing pastries and desserts and delicious breakfast too. My lemon poppyseed scone had the perfect crunch. My vanilla latte and my husband’s chocolate London Fog were perfect to the last drop. Need to find out the secret for the yummy eggs too. Such a wonderful Sunday brunch treat. The chocolate, rosemary, and huckleberry pinecone is my favorite chocolate dessert ever. It’s like cracking open a delicious Easter egg when your fork cracks open the delicate chocolate shell. “This place made a good first impression when it came to service. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and gave thoughtful, solid recommendations, which always sets the tone for a good experience. I ordered the mango sticky rice matcha and the nacho fries without meat. Everything came out hot and fresh, and she was very accommodating with any adjustments my friend and I needed, which I really appreciated. The sticky rice matcha was her recommendation and it ended up being a tasty, sweet little treat.

My biggest drawback was how tightly packed the seating is. The tables are very close together, and once it gets busy it’s hard to have a normal volume conversation without feeling like you’re suddenly part of someone else’s conversation. That closeness made it a bit harder to fully relax and enjoy the space when it started to fill up.

I also felt the portions were a little small for the price, and while the flavors were fine, they didn’t completely blow me away. That said, it was a fun first visit, and the attentive service definitely stood out. I’m curious to see how the menu and experience evolve, and I’m hopeful it’s a spot that will only get better with time.“
