“Chicken kaarage was the star, battered nicely and crisped to perfection. The yuzu mayo was bright and creamy and paired perfectly with the chicken. The spicy ramen was ok, I ordered extra mushroom and thought the noodles were well cooked. The broth was very rich but felt like it was lacking some acidity to cut through the fattiness. We got in line around 4 pm on a Friday and were the second party to be seated, and the line started to grow quickly around 4:30“

I am originally from Oregon so it was my first time ever being here. I got really hungry and I stay home alone due to family leaving. But I was craving sushi so I ordered from here. I ordered 1 potsticker and got one for free. Then a shrimp tempura roll and I ended up getting a free cheesecake and salad. This genuinely made my day since I’ve had so many bad days and depression. This has improved my mood by so much. The food was amazing too! I am definitely going to order again during my vacation. I recommend this place. Thank you so much’“

“Now that the hype has somewhat died down, ramen enthusiasts like me can return and enjoy a bowl of ramen without the crazy wait times. Initially, the restaurant didn't handle crowd control well in their early months. There was no waitlist system, making it hard to justify waiting a couple of hours just for a bowl of ramen. But now that the curious crowd has dispersed, I've come back a few times to check the consistency of the flavor and to see if it might become my go-to spot for ramen. For this visit, we ordered the Classic Omurice Combo with curry sauce and the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu. The Omurice Combo really stood out. We chose curry sauce over demi glace, which was a great decision – the curry sauce seemed to have more depth and paired better with the dish, in our opinion. The egg was cooked to perfection, not too thick and not too runny. The Amazing Lemonade drink with cucumber added to the experience, being refreshing and elevating the taste to another level. The Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu was also impressive. It featured thin slices of pork chashu, similar to my favorite ramen place in NYC. The smoky flavor of the chashu was excellent, adding aroma and depth to the dish. The slightly salty seaweed, along with the soft, sweet bamboo shoots, made for a good combination, enhancing the dish's flavor. The marinated egg, with its balanced taste and just-right cooking, was another highlight. Overall, Kyuramen delivered a memorable meal, with each element of the dishes complementing one another beautifully. The flavor has remained consistent during my recent visits, really standing out. This makes it not only the top spot on my ramen list in VA but also probably my second favorite spot overall in the East Coast. What sets Kyuramen apart is that it's the only ramen place in Northern Virginia that gives you the authentic feel of a ramen store. Sitting at the bar and watching the ramen-making process is a unique experience that adds to the charm. It’s definitely worth visiting for anyone who enjoys a mix of well-prepared flavors and dishes.“

“Let me tell you about this awesome ramen place! I placed an order for Miso Ramen through Uber Eats and when I got to the Grace st location I was told I put in the order for the wrong location. Well I just accepted that I made the mistake/would eat the cost but Hirro (I believe he’s the owner) remade my order without hesitation. I’d truly accepted that was not going to have my food (I’d been having a terrible day) but his kindness & customer made all the difference!! “If I could give xtreme 6 stars I would! I should have know from the reusable insulated bags this place was nothing to play with! Chef kiss delicious food and presentation! Pork belly buns, Korean chicken, spring rolls, ramen. Me and my family ate like kings. Even my son was impressed by everything. “Today I had a really satisfying meal at K-Street inside K Market.

The pork cutlet was very comforting and balanced — just a classic, reliable donkatsu flavor.
What impressed me the most was the tuna kimbap. The ratio of egg and carrot was excellent, and the flavor was clean, mild, and not salty or overpowering at all. It felt very different from the typical overly seasoned $9.99 kimbap.

Everything tasted fresh and well balanced.

It was not how I expected it to be but was good nonetheless. The protein in it was cooked pretty nicely and tender. The herbs had some brown spots but we're still edible. “Best daily spot in the foggy bottom area. I’ve been a student here at GW and now in my senior year I’ve realized this place is a part of my daily life. The staff is more than welcoming and serve me and multiple friends with love and care. There’s a reason we are here 3x a week and the food definitely is a huge role in that too.
