“Delicious spicy beef noodle soup“
“Stopped on a whim. I was walking by, hungry and reviews looked good. So glad I tried it. I ordered the miso ramen to-go. The broth was separate in the take away container which meant everything didn’t get soggy while I walked a mile back. Miso was really good. I wasn’t a fan of the noodles. I prefer them a little thinner. Despite that, the miso ramen was really good. The meat was cooked perfectly. Miso was tasty. I would definitely eat here again.“

“The sushi here was excellent and beautifully presented! We tried the Burning Love roll (served on fire), the Hawaiian Bad Boy, the Volcano Roll, and the Fried 2016. All were fresh and flavorful, though I was more impartial to the Fried 2016 compared to the others. The highlight for me was the spicy ramen—it was honestly some of the best ramen I’ve had in the area. The broth was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect spice level without being overwhelming. Great service, great food, and a fun dining experience overall.“

“The best ramen of my life!
I had to sign up and wait for about an hour, but it was absolutely worth it. While waiting, we grabbed a beer at one of the bars nearby, which made the time fly by.
We ordered the chicken karaage and the spice tonkotsu to share, and honestly, it was the best ramen in the world — the broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked, and everything was beautifully balanced.
On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would come back a thousand times!“

“Don't let the simple outside decor fool you. This place is the real deal. Small but mighty, this place is beautifully decorated. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is also great. We had the chicken Kara-age to start, wonton soup, ramen, and also the ramen with Thai coconut curry. It was the right balance between spicy, sweet, and sour. The bathroom is particularly cool, with sound effects and everything. Worth visiting when in Mclean.“

“Absolutely the best Ramen in Town!“
“Great addition to the Wharf dining scene. Big menu with vegetarian options and some healthier options like poke bowls. Appetizers are a must try, my favorite is the miso eggplant and my boyfriend likes the karaage crispy chicken the most. The original tonkatsu ramen is the most authentically Japanese ramen I've had in DC proper, reminds me of a ramen I had in Tokyo earlier this year. I love the hot sauce that comes with it so much, it definitely makes the food taste authentic. If you here with someone, I would recommend sharing a ramen and some appetizers, as the ramen is very big and you wont be able to finish a whole ramen plus appetizers. Ask for Mario as your server, he is the kindest and very knowledgeable about the menu.“

“Now that the hype has somewhat died down, ramen enthusiasts like me can return and enjoy a bowl of ramen without the crazy wait times. Initially, the restaurant didn't handle crowd control well in their early months. There was no waitlist system, making it hard to justify waiting a couple of hours just for a bowl of ramen. But now that the curious crowd has dispersed, I've come back a few times to check the consistency of the flavor and to see if it might become my go-to spot for ramen. For this visit, we ordered the Classic Omurice Combo with curry sauce and the Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu. The Omurice Combo really stood out. We chose curry sauce over demi glace, which was a great decision – the curry sauce seemed to have more depth and paired better with the dish, in our opinion. The egg was cooked to perfection, not too thick and not too runny. The Amazing Lemonade drink with cucumber added to the experience, being refreshing and elevating the taste to another level. The Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu was also impressive. It featured thin slices of pork chashu, similar to my favorite ramen place in NYC. The smoky flavor of the chashu was excellent, adding aroma and depth to the dish. The slightly salty seaweed, along with the soft, sweet bamboo shoots, made for a good combination, enhancing the dish's flavor. The marinated egg, with its balanced taste and just-right cooking, was another highlight. Overall, Kyuramen delivered a memorable meal, with each element of the dishes complementing one another beautifully. The flavor has remained consistent during my recent visits, really standing out. This makes it not only the top spot on my ramen list in VA but also probably my second favorite spot overall in the East Coast. What sets Kyuramen apart is that it's the only ramen place in Northern Virginia that gives you the authentic feel of a ramen store. Sitting at the bar and watching the ramen-making process is a unique experience that adds to the charm. It’s definitely worth visiting for anyone who enjoys a mix of well-prepared flavors and dishes.“

“I got the Teriyaki Chicken with Miso Soup and it was delicious! The teriyaki sauce was thick and sweet, the chicken was seasoned well, and they provided generous portions.
Service was very kind and super fast. I was in and out of the place. Tables were all very clean and the atmosphere was great.“

“Just had this for the first time. Got the red ramen. Easily one of my favorites in DC. Don’t let people who rate 1 star because their kitchen isn’t a “normal” restaurant deter you, people have gotten creative with their businesses to make them most sustainable since the pandemic. The food is fantastic.“

“If I could give xtreme 6 stars I would! I should have know from the reusable insulated bags this place was nothing to play with! Chef kiss delicious food and presentation! Pork belly buns, Korean chicken, spring rolls, ramen. Me and my family ate like kings. Even my son was impressed by everything. One draw back was the grub disregarded my delivery instructions and left the bag on the fence for anyone to come pick it up.“

“General Taos chicken is delicious. Sweet and sour chicken was great. The wings are crispy diner wings, not Asian fusion like you’d expect but still good. Had pan fried chicken dumplings (EXCELLENT), shrimp fried rice, and steamed shrimp dumplings. Also the drinks were strong, first time having a blueberry margarita and I highly recommend. Wish they had egg rolls and not just spring rolls. Atmosphere could be better, maybe try dimming the lights? But pretty no-nonsense and straight forward overall including decent service. Def will be adding this to the rotation“

“Entrees are a $17 and up but the portions are big. It's a food court so I only tipped 10% but I guess you could also not tip. Pictures show 3 entrees but we got 4. Two of them were the bolgogi beef.
If we had gone to a restaurant then it would have cost more than $120 but here it was $80. My seafood ramen was good and huge. Husband enjoyed his katsua chicken and dad & son enjoyed their bulgogi rice bowls.
The food court was empty, but clean.“

“I tend to go here multiple times out of the week afterwork to enjoy a unique and tasty cocktail or a savory meal. Everyone that has served me has been incredibly kind and always greeted with a smile! Food was very tasty of course, highly recommended the Sake Fried Chicken, or the spicy wontons for an appetizer. For cocktails I highly recommended the Boba Passion or the Lychee Martini! If you’re in Georgetown, this is the best place to be!“
“I had Jjajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk. It was reasonable price and both were delicious. I had low expectations since the most of Korean Chinese food in America was not good. But this one was not bad and good price. I would come back again. Hope more people come.“

“How does this place only have 4 stars? Do you all have covid still? Best sushi in town for the price point, even if they're not so used to customer service or the place isn't made for a nice sit down experience (it's Western Market, which is a great upscale food court worth going out of your way for).“
