The waffle tasted incredibly fresh, and the pistachio kunafa flavor had the perfect crunch without being overly sweet—really well balanced. The hazelnut ice cream was rich and delicious as well.

Portion-wise, I do feel the second scoop could be slightly more generous for the price, but the quality definitely makes up for it.

I usually can’t finish desserts, but this one was so good I ate the entire thing. Would absolutely come back again!“

What really stood out, though, was the service. Diana was exceptionally friendly, patient, and attentive, taking the time to explain flavors and make thoughtful recommendations. “Updated review: I've been here a few dozen times over the last decade, they've officially lost their essence. They're now pretty darn expensive. It's too bad. They used to be known for great custard and baked goods at reasonable prices, but it looks like they're now going with maximum extraction. So it goes.

Old review: Fair prices and excellent frozen custard concoctions; this place sits in a part of the DC area that you would swear was a world away - i.e. in a wholesome town in middle America. It's an institution worth the trip and likely line... Out the door.

“I love it here it’s like child heaven, it’s so tasty and delectable. The slushy ice creamy texture is heaven like and the toppings with it are so tasty. The atmosphere is pretty good although they don’t have many seats inside, so if it’s a cold night or day than you will most likely have to go home to eat it or you could get a seat inside if they had one open. Overall I absolutely love Sweet Frog.“

“Date of Visit: Thursday Aug 24th, 2023 Good portions for their ice cream. There were many flavours available. A lot of them had chocolate base/ content. I am not a fan of chocolate and vice versa. I ended up getting pralines and Cream which is my default flavour in these situations. The service was very friendly and helpful. The shop is located right across from the waterfront park – which makes it a great place to enjoy your ice cream. The prices are a bit steep but the volume is high, so I guess it is worth it.“

“While in Georgetown…was in a craving for something sweet and cold. We came upon this delicious ice cream shop and saw this summer flavor of Mango Strawberry Smoothie. When I took a sip of it the flavor was so smoothie with the vanilla ice cream blended with the two flavors. I also have to admit the price was nice and for joining their loyalty program I received 20% off my first order and also a coupon for a mother small ice cream scoop for free. Definitely a summer treat !!!!!“
