“I've been to Dama a few times and honestly it's the best Ethiopian food in the DMV. The service is always quick and the food is so delicious.

Pro tip since you won't have room for dessert: make sure to visit the bakery side before dinner to grab some pastries to take home.

“WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! Love this place! New favorite Thai spot in the DMV! I'll be back and VERY SOON! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAI FOOD SPICY AS IT SHOULD BE!“

“it's on Langston blvd but It's really Lee highway. This is my absolute favorite location for a few reasons. Its on the way home from work, it's never overly crowded and it's by far the best bc of the staff. Rosa, Joseph and Maria have been cooking my nightly meals more then a few times and it's always an absolute pleasure bc the food is top notch, they are friendly, caring and have a knack for making you laugh as soon as you enter the door. In this age where cookie cutter nonsense is the norm they are not. They feel like a part of the neighborhood. They know people's names (or ask) and just have a very down to earth vibe about them. I even got a bonus taco. Yes you read that right. A bonus taco. Who could ask for more after a long 12 hour day. When I'm exhausted after work there is no other place I'd rather get food from then them. Thank you and cya next week.“

“Really great food - it really is trying to emulate a Mexico City taco shop. The menu is relatively simple but the tacos are solid, and the prices are fine. Definitely recommend for a nice casual lunch with friends if you are craving some good Mexican food in Crystal City! The location is great too and service was quick and great.“

“I went with a large group of people for a weeknight dinner and we ordered a ton of yummy food and drinks for the table. I liked the NA watermelon agua fresca and my friends liked the smoked old-fashioned. We got cheesy bread for the table some of us liked it it-I didn’t it was very thin. The food overall was well liked; I got a Cobb salad that had a good flavor and many of us loved the fresh pizzas. The restaurant is very clean and organized. The only serious issue we had was with our server. I’m not sure if she was very new or there was a language barrier but we had constant issues from the start. We had to ask multiple times for water and didn’t get any until after the appetizers were served. Food was slow to make it to the table-not the end of the world but it would have been nice if our server checked up on us more, also had issues asking for the check. I think I would come here again for the drinks!“

“We had a wonderful experience dining here! Our server checked on us regularly to make sure everything was going well. There was a slight delay with one of our drinks, but they handled it so graciously — they apologized and comped it without us even asking.

The food was fantastic. We ordered the steak and chicken fajitas, and the steak was cooked perfectly to a medium rare — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Everything arrived quickly, and the server provided extras as requested.

The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed. It’s a great spot for family celebrations. There’s also a cute outdoor patio with plenty of seating — perfect for a casual hangout or date night.

“It took me 8 years to find a great Chinese restaurant and this is it! I order from here almost weekly now. The best part about the food is you can select the spicy level of many of the dishes, and I love it spicy! I’m talking REAL spicy - not weak American-standard spicy, and they deliver. Fire in my mouth, runny nose, and tears spicy. I love it!“

“The guy working at Taylor Gourmet on 6/21/24 (may have been a manager or an owner, not sure) was INCREDIBLE. He was so accommodating and made a special turkey sandwich for my son, who raved to anyone that would listen by our gate that it was the best sandwich he'd ever had lolol. I had the 9th and it was also just *chefs kiss!. To whoever you are, if you read this, my son will be spreading news of your sandwich magic all the way to California.

There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. “Sat at the sushi bar, so had dinner and a show. The show was good, the dinner was great. Yume is in an interesting space, open with lots of windows, a high ceiling, and very high energy, read LOUD. This is not your sedate, high-end, reverent sushi restaurant, but a vibrant lively place, which doesn't mean the sushi is in any way inferior. Even at the sushi bar the ordering is through a waitress/waiter not directly with the sushi chefs. That was a slight disappointment, having no interaction with the chefs, but perhaps to be expected with the size of the crowd that was there on Friday night. We ordered in stages because, this being the first time, we did not know how much would be enough. In the end what we ordered was just right. The service was paced just right, never rushed but available when needed. The baby octopus salad was bright and citrusy, and slightly chewy, in a good way. The simple nigiri in the Sushi Dinner, 10 pieces, were very fresh and tasty. The special nigiri we had, Otoro, was imaginative and excellent - wasabi and truffle make a great pairing and the bit of caviar was just the right touch. The Yume roll was top flight, spicy but, to coin a phrase, not too spicy, and the fish did shine through. We will definitely be going back.“
