“Drive thru was fast and the woman running it was so pleasant and kind. Ended up dropping my food so ran back in to get a fresh dinner and the inside was really clean and everyone behind the counter seemed to be having a good time taking care of a nice crowd of folks.“

“Excellent I’m a known chef visiting VCU in Richmond, Virginia and saw there were great Chinese places. Since 1981 I’ve loved however not found many legit shredded pork in garlic sauce dishes. They nailed it, this classic Sichuan dish . When she placed on the table I had flash backs to Houston Texas the last time I actually ordered the dish as every place did it no justice. If you’ve never tried its spicy, salty, little acidic. Steamed rice has to be and was perfect. I started with a great hot and sour soup and then the green onion pancake. The pancake golden brown, crispy, cooked perfect. The soup a great blend had me sweating. Only negative is I’m from Georgia.“

“I've always enjoyed their food. We've ordered several dishes and have enjoyed all of them. We order take-out and the food is always hot and ready on time. Also, the owners are friendly and the place is clean.“

“This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…

The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.

If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.

“It was a lovely saturday night, around 9pm, me and my girls were itching for some good chinese…and we knew exactly where to go to satisfy our cravings. We’ve been to Chens numerous times so we knew we were in for a treat! Service is always great and extremely welcoming, really makes me feel like Chen’s is a second home to me aha…food was out of this world, beyond a 10/10 to say the least!😂 You know I love me some good Gernal Tso’s chicken, and don’t get me started on those chinese donuts!!🤤 Well..if this review didn’t persuade you enough, hopefully the wholesome photo below will…love you chens…Love❤️“

“The Wonton soup was delicious. Deep textured broth. My wife had the Sesame Chicken, and I had the Mongolian Combo, which was beef, chicken, and shrimp. The Sesame Chicken was tasty, but maybe a little too sweet bc it was over-sauced. The Mongolian dish was very tasty and fresh, not too sweet, and the meet was tender. I got take-out, and I would definitely order from here again.“

“Let’s be honest with ourselves here it’s a Chinese restaurant in the same shopping center as a food lion….. it’s good food honestly best Chinese food in this general area of Henrico. If you want decent Chinese and you want it quick come to Ming’s they have never let me down in my 15+ years of going to them.“

“The shrimp is always tasty and the servings are hearty in size. The beef, chicken, pork dishes are fresh and the vegetables are flavored just right. Sophia is a wonderfully pleasant hostess who is always friendly, kind and thoughtful. They are also helpful with dietary concerns. Once I went to Zheng’s, I have continued going there on a regular basis. I believe you will like it too if you haven’t already tried it before.. I also like the lunch menu with either a spring roll, egg roll or soup with the entree and rice the way you want it.“

“The food was 4 stars for me. Imagine if it was just a little bit crispy to the bite. Otherwise I love the food here. Is it healthy? No. Is it good? Yeah. The service was excellent. They were sweet and kind and ready to help. I especially liked the cashier, she was gorgeous and easy to talk to! The atmosphere was good. “Peter changs is the most authentic Chinese restaurant that I know of. a close second would be Full Kee on horsepin off of broad. but P.Cheng's is a combo of traditional grandma like made hot pots with a twist of today to some beautifully created food art type appatisers. the scallion bubble packed is a delightfully fun munch. we ordered peking duck for take-out tonight. my husband will drive across town to get it as we are in Midlothian. the online order menue is not working. the price listed is 35.00. However the menue will not allow me to even register or order. I called we were told the price of the dish is 65.00$$$! we have pking duck 1/yr on NYE and it's my favorite Chinese Dish . so we bit the bullet and ordered. when we asked about the price difference we were told something that y'all should know.... we were told ...oh. we rais our prices around Christmas! Well thanx PETER CHANG. This better be the Best pking duck I could even imagine. This is what you think of your customers SMH.. I'm not sure that I will continue dinning with you in the future. what a shame. such good food and during the Christmas season most places offer something special to show appreciation to their patrons. “Eastern is our absolutely favorite take-out Chinese restaurant! They have the best crab rangoon in town, the best fried rice & their delivery is always so quick! They are also always so friendly! Highly recommend!!

“Only 2nd time here. Everything was great.. I order crip sesame shrimp. Young lady said it will be 1.50 I said ok. And I got to choose another meat so I got broccoli and beef. SO that was over 12.00 so I got home and I only had 3 shrimp I was very upset to see I had to pay extra and only got 3 shrimp what am I paying extra for.. I took a picture this time at this place which I'm going to start doing so all my followers can see 👀.. I think were paying to much for a plate of rice , broccoli and a few pieces of beef.. this is highway robbery. Everyone have a wonderful evening and enjoy life... p.s. my roommate got rice and orange chicken he had a very nice portion.. I had to wait for some shrimp got done and sorry but disappointed they need to tell us it's a 1.50 more for 3 shrimp unreal ...“

“Been a diner patron well before covid. At that time you could eat in the dining area. After covid its been take out only for the most part. I have 3 favorite Chinese restaurants in all Richmond and China Wok is the closest to our home and probably my most favorite. We often order hunan chicken, chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, Kung pao shrimp and when we do we put in a large order and get our food at the lunch special hours. I love the flavor of their sauces, the spiciness in the flavor, the amount of protein or meats and just well they truly pack our containers full of food. We get so many multiple meals out of our orders and I dont see how China wok has ever skipped a beat. They have always been friendly with our family and always delivered us top quality food at a decent price. I recommend China wok to anyone that enjoys real flavor, good prices and good quantity of food.“
