There were several tables with chairs for dining in so I decided to stay and eat. The tables were clean. “We love Beijing Tokyo and come here (or order delivery) at least once a month! My personal favorites are the Beef Sticks and Jumbo Shrimp in Creamy Sauce — so good every time. My kiddo always goes for the Wonton Soup, and their fried rice and sushi are also excellent. You really can’t go wrong here.

They’re also very family-friendly, which makes dining in easy and enjoyable with kids. Delivery always arrives hot and fresh, and when we eat at the restaurant, the service is consistently great. It’s one of our go-to spots and we highly recommend it!“

I don’t think I’ve seen a server as personable, competent, and willing to fulfill our wants and needs. He seems to go out of his way in order to make us feel welcome, and that no task is too small. He even made our kids happy! Any request they had, he was on top of. Very attentive, respectful, and polite! Maybe this guy should be a manager….? He checked on us more than the actual managers did, even though he was clearly busy; I don’t think I saw a manager my entire time. I would have loved to praise him to a higher up. KEEP THIS GUY! I love the new lamps on the table, it gives a little more light, and makes me feel like I’m not in a dungeon. Host seemed very disinterested in helping, and very monotoned. “I almost didn’t walk into Hunan Taste. When I saw pho on the menu, I hesitated. I know pho. I’ve had it done right, and when a Chinese place throws it on the menu, it usually means they’re trying to be everything to everyone.

But I’m glad I went in.

I ordered what I always judge a place by — roast pork and lo mein. If you can’t get that right, nothing else matters. The roast pork was legit. Flavorful, not dried out, not that bland filler meat some of these pop-up spots use. Mix it with the lo mein? That’s a winning combination every time.

Then came the egg roll. Not a spring roll. A real egg roll. Thick wrapper, crispy, hearty filling.

But what sealed it for me was the mustard. Homemade Chinese mustard — the real deal, the kind that clears your sinuses and lets you know someone back there cares.

We were so excited to finally find a chinese restaurant that is somewhat formal and provide good quality ingredients! I'm super picky with my meat (the , but the fresh meat, vegetables, and other ingredients truly satisfy my particular self. They never disappoint with the quality of the food and the temperature! We have tried at least 80% of their menu items, including the AYCE lunch menus, and our go-to items are: pan seared shrimp dumplings, dragon garlic spicy eggplants, singapore curry noodles, shrimp lo mein, spicy dry fried bamboo fish, numbing green peppercorn flounder, sesame chicken (it's online, not in the menu), and spicy kong pao chicken. The waitstaff and manager are all so nice in addition to the great food! We will continue to go back and we're so happy people are finding a good quality chinese food!“

Food is always great, incredibly quick. Sure, prices have gone up but food cost doesn’t just affect consumers, it affects businesses too, so while not ideal, I get it. Yesterday, my buddy and I ordered some food for carry out on our way out of his storage unit. Come to find out, if you don’t leave by 9pm, they lock you in, literally. I called Empire back to tell them of the situation, and without hesitation, they offered to bring our food to us at the storage unit despite being 5 minutes to closing by the time we figured out that the police officer’s code wasn’t going to work (we thought we were gonna have to stay the night). Not only that, when he realized our situation, he went back out to a gas station to get us utensils to eat our food there *and* got us 2 drinks. We ended up getting out very shortly after, but it really stuck in my head that this is one of the nicest things a complete stranger has done for me. I didn’t need any other reason to keep coming to Empire, but this validates my love for this place and the people that run it. The best part is the food was still warm when we made it back home. The ambiance is gorgeous, the decor is history, with pictures of patrons from wall to wall.

The servers and staff are professionally dressed, I felt underdressed

Walked into the place around 2:50pm, as i read through the menu, and decide on the lunch special, the waiter says, sorry but it's after 3pm (3:02pm) no more lunch special. Bummed, as now the prices from lunch to dinner are a 3-4 dollar amount difference, portion might be larger, but for one person, I didn't need more of just one dish, I wanted variety.

Everything was just basic, and the fried calamari's funnel cake like batter was quite sweet and greasy for me.

The wonton soup had a thick wrapper, well stuffed, not bad

Fried Rice was delicious, loaded with meat and shrimp, worth the value

Will go back to try the famous Duck when I have enough people to share it with, as it is at least $100 for the table service.“
