“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “My sister and I really enjoyed the calamari, cucumber salad, braised beef and noodle soup and garlic green beans. I rate those 5 stars. We also ordered the ugly dumplings sampler, I rate this zero star and it a waste of money. Now the service was excellent! Our server Abel took his time explaining the menu since it's our first visit. I usually prefer a more spaced out seating arrangement but that’s my own personal opinion and it isn’t even possible because the place is small. “The best Vietnamese food hands down! When I’m in the area I always have to stop by Le Bledo to get a banh mi and a soup. The consistent quality and attention to detail is what makes this place great. “You have got to ask for Jay Kim, he is the best server in the house. He was patient and ever so helpful with us as first time hot potters. I had a vegetarian hot pot, well, except for the dumplings. Although they have no vegetarian options, he worked with me and provided me with an alternate option. It would be more awesome for them to add it to their menu tho for those of us who just love veggies. The broth is vegetarian based so it makes sense to have a vegetarian option along with it. We had a party of 8 and Jay Kim made it so much fun!!! The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh. One other option that would have been great to have would be fresh ginger at the sauce bar and mushrooms on the vegetable plate. We were all pleasantly pleased with our food. The ambiance is very nice, low light but more than enough to cook and enjoy each other's company. Jay Kim made sure we always had what we needed. The sauce bar was amazing, so many choices. I recommend making a few bowls, some for the broth and and some for dipping your cooked food. If you get any type of meat, also make a sauce to marinade the meat. You don't have to but it made a good difference. Meats are thinly sliced for quick cooking and again,so fresh. The price was worth the amount of food and the experience. There is an all you can eat option or an a la carte option where you just get one meat selection and a vegetable plate which was more than enough for us as a party of young ladies. This was a great first hot pot experience and I definitely recommend it, just make sure to ask for Jay Kim. I know you will enjoy it!!!“

“You can’t get better soup than from a place that specializes in it. The seollongtang had plenty of noodles and meat. The galbitang had a savory broth, lots of meat — great flavor all around. The haemul pajeon was crispy and stuffed with seafood.

The standout item was the kong-guksu. Dad had been craving it as it was a favorite of his in childhood. He has tried it at other places and wasn’t impressed. Here, he finished the whole thing and would’ve licked the bowl clean.

Note: the soups are under-salted so you can customize them to your liking. The salt containers on each table have enough salt to please any saltaholic.“

“There are so many pho restaurants in NOVA, but Pho Hai Duong has quickly become my favorite. I order their combination pho with extra hoisin and jalapeños at least once a week, and with their early opening hours I can even get pho for breakfast! I love the quality of their meat, the flavor of their broth, and the consistency of the meal each time I order. For reference we stop by 1-2 times a week at this location. Typically between 3-4.
We frequently order the Roasted Turkey & Avocado.
The new Deli Ham sandwich is really nice too as they return ham sandwiches to the menu!“

“This is our go-to Chinese takeout spot! Food is usually ready in 10-15 minutes. I'd recommend the moo shu chicken, Szechuan string beans, pan fried pork dumplings, and the lo mein.
Parking is available behind the restaurant, and it's easier to get in/out if you come in that way.“
