Service: I understand that this a family owned business, and the staff are always friendly and professional. Ambiance: It's a very cute and cozy spot, fun for dates with a significant other, friends, and family.“

“Great food and friendly service! I love to sit outside on the deck. They are able to accommodate those with special dietary needs. I need gluten free and dairy free. Gluten free buns are available upon request. GF buns need an extra few minutes to defrost the in the oven but it’s worth the wait. Or you can call ahead. “Loved the tacos, some better than other, service was good, only 4 stars for atmosphere because the ceiling was staring back at us but other than that I liked the seating and layout, also saw they have events some nights and definitely will be going back to try more food and the events. A great place next to GMU campus in university mall, and the best part is that they have Jarritos. Chips were solid too, salsa is spicy, if you are white or just have no spice tolerance at all beware.“

“I usually come here on Friday nights to eat, drink and vibe to the music from the live DJ. But for some reason the speakers are messed up tonight. Can barely hear a thing. The vibe isn’t the same. I hope they can fix the speakers soon or I may have to find another spot to vibe at on Fridays.“

“This review is for the ANTICHUCHO - Marinated chunks of beef heart skewered and served with Peruvian corn and grilled potatoes. The flavoring on meat with dipping sauce was on point! The potatoes were seasoned well although I wished there were a few more pieces. The giant Peruvian corn over salad was refreshing! I would love to try more items from their menu.“

“Very cool spot with a unique experience. Murlarkey is a distillery with a tasting room and a cocktail lounge. The lounge area is reservation only which I didn't know heading in. Gives it a real speak easy vibe. I was visiting early and they had an opening at the bar, lucky me. The mixologists were very friendly, definitely felt taken care of. The drink menu is exceptional, really nice options ranging from traditional to eclectic. You are limited to 2 drinks per person per visit because of va liquor laws. They have a larger facility under construction that will include a kitchen, hoping the vibe stays the same.“

“Visited for the first time this evening and loved it! Sat at the bar and talked with the really friendly and helpful waitstaff/bar tenders. There was music playing, but not nearly as loud as some of the other places, so it was very nice to sit and talk with the person I was with. The happy hour drink and food specials are great and go on until 7pm every day! Once our food arrived, we were completely sold. We got 4 different tacos and all were wonderful! Very full tacos with lots of flavor. All the meats were juicy and delicious and the pico and corn salsas were obviously fresh and full of color and flavor. We will definitely be back!!“

“You need to dine-in here on Monday because their flat iron steak is so worth the half-off price!!! It was cooked and seasoned really well and came with delicious mashed potatoes. I also recommend getting their truffle fries!! Even though I was really full I couldn't stop eating them. Also just want to note that their side of grilled asparagus only came with three so we were sort of disappointed with that portion size. The server was really kind but towards 6pm it got a lot more busy and it took a while for us to get our check. Overall this is a great place to enjoy happy hour as it has a nice interior and both indoor/outdoor seating options.“

“North Italia was very nice--I will go back. Our party of four all enjoyed our food, which was all high-quality. My only sour note is that I had made a reservation, and we were offered a table in a trafficked area while booths remained empty. I asked if we could have a booth, and our host actually had to check with someone else before escorting us to a booth.“

“What a cozy and beautiful spot! I was surprised to see a lovely party/hosting space too. Their drinks are top notch, depending on how much you wanna spend of course. Bourbon is my thing and the Single Barrel bourbon is so smooth and excellent price.I want to go back to try their cocktails. They had a bourbon maple egg nog with cinnamon bitters, sounds amazing.I took 1 star away since the person pouring small tasters for me was a bit impatient with my lack of knowledge. My guess is they expect people coming in to know enough (which I typically do), but I was a bit foggy minded and tired when I came in.I'll definitely be coming back with some friends. Thanks KO.“
