“I've been to this local coffee shop twice and have enjoyed. It's a busy UVA student haunt off The Corner.

The small gabled building that sits on a dead end road by train tracks is cute. There is no street parking. However garage parking is across the street.

Staff was friendly as I walked in. I ordered an ice coffee variety that was pretty good. They offer bites, but did not notice what was available.

I would return.

“We stumbled upon Grit a year ago when my husband was looking for a great pour over coffee. The baristas are always super helpful and he loves their single origin pour overs. It’s one of our favorite go to coffee places in Charlottesville.“

“Tucked away in sleepy Woolen Mills, Workshop serves up some of Charlottesville’s best coffee. Their team is always warm and knowledgeable. Their pastries are delicious and are gone early so don’t wait on a visit. Their outside sitting area is fantastic on a warm morning. Simply love this place.“

“Purchased two Peppermint mochas and two Pain au chocolat. All of it was incredible, but for two Pain au chocolat it came to around $13. I’m not sure where they get them from, but the price tag on them seems a little high.
The coffee was amazing and the atmosphere is very lively and warming.
I would recommend anyone come check out this fun coffee shop, but make sure you check the price tag on what you are buying first, as it could be higher than you expected.“

“We *love* Guajiros! Particularly their breakfasts. Staff is perfectly friendly and helpful. The art is fun and the food is FANTASTIC! I loved the breakfast tacos until I got the breakfast bowl. Now, I can't seem to order anything else. The new outdoor patio is great! The indoor is nicely decorated with a " Miami, Florida " feel. But the noise dury busy hours is harsh for sound sensitive people like myself. Otherwise, it's our new family favorite. ❤️“

“I had a reservation as part of a group for my mom’s 60th birthday. Unfortunately, the morning of the celebration, I tested positive for Covid 🙁 the reservation I made was nonrefundable, but I figured I would call anyway to see if we could get some money back. The woman I spoke with was very nice and said she’d pass my name along to her supervisor who would get back to me. I didn’t hear anything for a couple of days and was going to follow up once I felt better, and then I got a notification that they gave us a full refund! So easy, which I was so grateful for, considering how I was feeling. So, unfortunately I never got the opportunity to actually stay at the hotel, but my experience with them was great and I will absolutely book a room there the next time I need to stay in Charlottesville!“

“2 guys were working there when I went in and they were awesome, great vibes, and my drink was on point! I got an iced London Fog Latte because they are now an obsession of mine. The guy was dancing around as he made our drinks and it was too funny, but this is definitely a good Starbucks y'all.“

Parking: Be careful in the parking lot and the drive-through. People drive through there too fast. There is enough parking but sometimes it can get full and it's a small area.“

“I’ve been here a few times just for one thing—a Matcha Latte. The customer service is always great, and the staff is super friendly, but they really need to work on their matcha game. Every time I order, I end up with chunks of matcha in my drink, and let’s be real, that’s disgusting. As a former barista, I know it’s an easy fix, so please show the team how to properly mix it!😅“

“A great coffee shop with a nice selection of breakfast options! The Ethiopian coffee I had was truly exceptional, and the burrito we shared was excellent, featuring perfectly cooked eggs, potatoes, and fresh salsa. The staff were both helpful and friendly, making it a wonderful start to the day!“

They packed up some leftovers for our bridal party's morning-after breakfast, which was such a nice touch. This was just the "something unique" touch that we were hoping for at the reception. Thanks for such a great experience!“

Came through for a coffee and had to spell out “cake pop” to ask if they had any left so my toddler wouldn’t get his heart set on one just in case, and the lovely person on the headset spelled out what they had back! When I got up to the window, another lovely individual happily snuck me by bag “here’s the super secret snack!” I just thought they were the sweetest crew who played along without missing a beat, and I appreciated it more than I can say.“
