“What a great place! Yes it might be hard to find but that is part of the charm. I have eaten in restaurants with James Beard award winning chefs and multiple stars but this dinner went beyond my expectations. Yes you need reservations. Yes the place is full but I never felt rushed (like they were anxious to turn the table). What they did to a humble carrot dish left me wanting to be a vegetarian!!! However their beef tartare made be rejoice that I wasn’t!! Micha has to be a magical bartender, don’t hesitate to simply tell the waitstaff your flavor profile and left him work his magic. I must return to Cville if for no other reason than to enjoy another heavenly dinner.“

The authenticity of the cuisine, combined with the warm ambiance and attentive service, truly made for a memorable dining experience. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to consider adding traditional background music to further enhance the atmosphere. “10.22.22 - Our bartender, Madison, was fantastic and very personable! We had the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer and I had the filet and crab cake with bacon mac and cheese and kung pao brussel sprouts. My husband had the cod imperial with broccoli and garlic mashed potatoes. I can't say enough how great all the food was as well as the sevice! Will definitely go back soon!“
“We can’t say enough good things about our experience at Duner’s! We had mixed drinks, appetizers, entrees, salads, soups and dessert. There were 6 of us and we all agreed EVERYTHING was delicious! Usually at most restaurants there’s at least one thing that isn’t as great when that much is ordered, but that definitely wasn’t our experience! We each tried a bite (or more) of everything that was ordered and we couldn’t have been more impressed! The only downside is the noise level, which unfortunately we contributed to a good bit, but the staff handled our larger party with grace and patience! The excellent food and service more than makes up for the noise. Highly recommend!!“
“Beautiful hotel, home to The Good Sport. Very lively crowd, energized by a U of Virginia televised basketball game and Super Bowl Weekend. From the valet parking staff to the host to the waitress, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The cobb salad was beautifully presented; the smash burger, served with tasty waffle fries, was great. Highly recommended.“
“Everyone is very welcoming, as though you are family. Courses are served allowing time to enjoy the appetizer and digest before the next course. You are never rushed but also never ignored with someone always checking to see if something else is needed. The food is excellent with large portions. The atmosphere is relaxing and romantic with low lighting. I enjoyed everything about it and look forward to eating there again.“

“Visited charlottesville for the weekend and WOW this place is amazing! We loved the atmosphere and the food was incredible! SO much flavor. We got the pasta el barco and levanta muertos. The margaritas were also to die for. They were very smooth and the glasses were gorgeous too. Truly wish we didn’t have to return home so we could experience this food for two nights in a row. 100% recommend!“
“once again I loved every bite and enjoyed time alone with great food , best Netflix and chill night . everything was fresh hot and soo delicious. I occasionally get seafood and cook it at home but this is so much more convenient and I could never make it taste this good. crawfish were better this time too so of course I'll be adding those on again next time. need to try more but the one dish is a lot for me to devour at once. corn and potatoes were amazing , hardest thing was driving the 40 min back home with the smell filling my car, I was able to get a potato and had to stop trying for more because I was going to wreck will be back again!“
“I love the seafood here! The oyster selection is always fun, and everything I have eaten here has been delicious! (Definitely get the bread, the butter is made in house and it's addictive!) The prices are not crazy either. This is a great place for date night or a special celebration.The only thing I didn't like was the lobster bisque, and it was really not bad, just wayyyy too salty. Everything else was so good. I'm looking forward to dining here again!Parking: Parking is a little tricky if you don't know the area. The easiest place I've found is the parking lot next to the train station. There is sometimes street parking for closer spacesKid-friendliness: Not a great place to bring kids. It's very loud and can get crowded. This is a nice establishment that should be visited when you are able to get a babysitter“
