“If you go to Brady’s on a Sunday chances are you will get Daniel. Daniel is a great bartender for many reasons. First of all he makes a fabulous drink. You really wouldn’t know that any alcohol was in the drink. Secondly , he is top notch with customer service. He is at the chic-fil-a level. Lastly, he does a great job for both the customer and to best represent for his establishment.“

“If the weather is nice there is no better place to hang out and have a beer than their outdoor seating area. It's extremely nice, and the beer here is probably the best you're going to find in Roanoke. The staff is great, and their growlers are reasonably priced. They don't stay open very late, so be sure to get there early.“

“Our usual place was closed so we decided to try a whole new place and it was a good choice! The general tsos isn’t drowning in sauce which made it so much better in my opinion. The vegetable lo mein had a very generous vegetable to noodle ratio and great flavor, and the chicken fried rice was great as well. The place was crowded as can be with people out the door, but we’d called ahead and I was able to get in and out quickly.
Parking: The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get in and out of on a busy night.“

“I used to really love this place and go almost every week day but now I kind of go there maybe once a week and only because it's conveniently located but the convenience factor has taken a nose dive because of one recent development: When I pay $5 or $6 for a specialty iced coffee is it too much to ask that it comes with a lid that won't leak? It drips all over my hands all the way to my office and I have to change cups when I get there. If ya get a shipment of faulty lids why not just send them back? I'd rather have no lid at all than the illusion of a lid.“

“Love the pizza which we ordered this time, we have ordered in the past and everything has been so delicious, so far, we have had the Chicken Alfredo, Shrimp Alfredo, mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms and the cheesecake and cannoli also we have had the salad with chicken. This is our go to here at work Thank you so much everyone has been very happy“

“Great place to throw a party. We reserved their conference room for a baby shower and were really satisfied with the whole experience. They offer catering and set everything up for us, and we were able to get drink tickets for our guests. The staff was amazing to work with!“

“I’ve been coming here for several months now and it is hands down the best spot in Roanoke! The line dancing nights on Tuesday and Thursday are a blast!! They have live bands every Friday and Saturday and they are always so good! Having the option to go upstairs and dance the night away is a big plus! The food and drinks are all excellent! Everything comes out so fresh and hot! I haven’t found a dish I have not enjoyed here. If you’re looking for a spot that has great energy, great employees, and fantastic food this is the place to be! Don’t forget to get one of those super tasty Jell-O shots! Definitely recommend coming here!“

“On July 27,2025 Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church in Christiansburg, VA was the host of the annual joint worship service with Cambria Baptist Church. The 3pm service consisted of Cambria Baptist choir singing and blessing the congregation with beautiful songs. The Pastor of CBC delivered a powerful message of Christian unity. After the service SMB provided a delicious and tasty dinner.
Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church had purchased over eight (8) pounds of pork bbq from Due South BBQ. The BBQ was a hit. Everyone spoke about how much they enjoyed the tender delicious bbq. Folks wanted to know where SMB had purchased the BBQ.
Folks raved about how tender, lean and tasty this BBQ was. Everyone throughly enjoyed the BBQ from Due South BBQ. I highly recommend Due South for the delicious food, desserts and the atmosphere is amazing. The new owners of 2 years have really taken Due South to a new level. In my opinion it’s the best BBQ in the Roanoke, NRV and Southwest Virginia. I highly recommend Due South BBQ. It’s definitely delicious 😋“

“I visited this Starbucks on Hershberger Road for the first time. I had just been shopping at BJ's Wholesale Club, and it was so hot outside that I figured an iced coffee drink was in order. I enjoyed my drink and the air conditioning! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the shop was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be back!“

“I was around 5 years old when first remembered the New Yorker Deli. 44 years later and I am now introducing a new generation to the best sandwich shop around. Great food and great memories!
The Submarine is by far the absolute best deli sub in town! Google really needs to allow more stars for certain outstanding establishments!“

“I have probably eaten here 100 times over the years and have never ever been disappointed. Service is always good and quality of the food is always on point. The salads are the best and are huge and I never get tired of pulled chicken or pulled pork and the portions are always great. The outside seating is large and the place is always clean. I'm grateful we have such a wonderful barbecue place in our area.“
