“Last night my wife and I were finally able to try Gunny’s out. We ordered the wings and meatloaf. My meatloaf was amazing and the wings were so good we ordered more to take home. The beer selection is top notch compared to other places around town. Staff was super friendly, and will be forever customers here. Thanks Gunny’s for an amazing first experience with you all.“

“A lovely welcoming spot, easy to feel right at home as soon as I went in. Friendly and attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. TVs with sportsball games on to watch if you like, and great Autumn style decor when we were here. Heard about the V&T Ruben and was not disappointed, it was delicious. I would have loved dill pickle spears instead of burger-style pickles but they were still tasty and rounded out the ruben experience with the ridged chips. Delicious cakes in the case, tried the lemon bundt cake and loved it. Wish I were local as this would be a regular go-to.“

I came from Rocky Mount to see Benjamin and Sam because I had worked for them years ago at Mariners Landing. But didn't get to see either one. Thanks Benjamin and Sam for a wonderful belated birthday brunch. Taylor our waitress was absolutely wonderful.“

“I love a good Waffle House and this one is the best. Very clean, friendly staff, good food. I went around 11 am with my Gramma. We ordered the cheese steak sandwiches with hash-browns and they came to us steaming. Coffee was good too, sometimes it’s burned at other WH but not this one. There was hardly anyone in there when we arrived, ate, and left.“

“We were finally able to try out these cheesesteaks since we live over an hour away, and as two picky foodies from the North (NY & NJ), this is the most legit one we've had outside of Philly by far. We WILL be back sooner than later. Don't sleep on this place! We can't wait to return!“

“Me and my family had an amazing time! Our waitress was named Chelsey and she was one of the kindest servers ever. She checked back at our table multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and she even complimented us for being respectful to her and it was very special and nice of her. I also couldn’t decide what drink to have and she recommended Dr Pepper so I got that and was very pleased with that decision. The football was on and our food was hot and came out quick and we had a great time!“

“we had a WONDERFUL time for karaoke night for the kids. we were seated quickly MORGAN WAS PHENOMENAL AS A WAITRESS! we had a family of 5 and paid 60 bucks thats with tip drinks and hot food! the owner came and helped when waitress was busy. they allowed my kids to be kids and was super helpful. the bathroom was clean. the dj was engaging! we had a blast!“
