“Delicious food and the wait staff is fabulous!“

“The waiter was amazing! I didn’t catch his name tag but he was working the late shift by himself and it was busy since it’s Ramadan and people eat breakfast very early. He was able to accommodate everything we asked for and with a smile and genuine happiness to take care of us.
The place was very clean and the staff is very quick to clean thoroughly after each customer.
I just wish they had halal meat options. They were also out of the gluten free pancakes and this is the second IHOP this month that has told me that. Must be a regional shipping issue. I’ll definitely return here again because they’re 24/7 now.“

We are working our way through many of the DC Michelin Star restaurants (and we try to visit at least one when we travel to other cities): it is incredibly rare to immediately start making plans to come back again. Sure, plenty of them are delicious and would be enjoyable again, but don’t warrant the price tag or are too slow and elaborate to repeat with any frequency… some just aren’t worth returning to at all. But the value, the flavor, the experience and the ethics at Oyster Oyster have us wanting to return each season as the menu turns over and they weave in new seasonal, local, sustainable delicacies.“

“Amazing! The sushi tasting menu was exceptional and filling! Delicious and whimsical cocktails. Bar in the back, very hip and chic workout being pretentious. Wagyu beef skewers from the bar was one of the best things I’ve ever had. All the skewers were amazing and the fried chicken and other bar snacks are classic bar foods, but way elevated- can not wait for the rest of the space to open!“

Chef Paul is amazing and he told me he doesn’t believe in catering or delivery because South Indian food is best served hot and fresh and I couldn’t agree more! The Idlis melted in my mouth. The dosas were just perfect - the masala and chutney and sambhar -10/10! Go - no run to this place!“

“Hands down the best vegan Ruben I’ve ever had. The rye bread was toasted perfectly, the sauerkraut was tangy, the smoked tempeh was a delicious stand in for corned beef, and put together with the dressing and the cheese it was melt in your mouth delicious. “Our visit to Martin’s Tavern was excellent. From the hostesses to the manager, everyone was attentive, polite, and made for a great dining experience. Our server, Zachariah (“Zac”) was awesome and made the experience all that much better. Food was great and I highly recommend the Martin’s Delight. I will definitely return the next time I am in the area.“

“We had an early dinner before attending a performance at the Ford’s Theater. We made reservations through Open Table and were immediately seated upon arrival. The service was great. Our server recommended several dishes that we loved. There were abundant vegan and vegetarian options. Chilorio de Res tacos were mouthwatering as were the Hongos en Milto ones. In fact, every dish we ordered was delicious. One dish (chilaquiles) never arrived from the kitchen but we were pressed for time so we opted to have it taken off our bill instead of waiting for them to prepare it separately. Dessert, Cafe de Olla, was phenomenal. Pics are only some of the items we tried. Great atmosphere for date night and a milestone birthday celebration. Highly recommend.“

“My girlfriend and I went for her birthday and they already had a card prepared for her when we got there because I selected birthday under the event tab in our reservation. We both decided it was the best place either of us had been. I do not write reviews for restaurants but this one deserves it. “I enjoyed the green zone, it had me flying high. Flying high when I tried their coffee drink. There was so much in it I don’t even know what to call it, but look at the picture, it looks delicious. “We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back!“
