“Visited the newly opened Tapioca Express in Herndon today. Enjoyed their boba and was surprised they had so many snack options!! Favorites were the shrimp tempura with sweet chili sauce and the fried string beans. They didn’t seem very fried which is good in my book. Nicely seasoned too. Their crispy chicken was also good we were able to choose the spice level and I went with medium which was perfect. The chichi fries were great… love the chichi sauce that comes with it! As for drinks I loved the Mangonada. It was so beautiful and delicious for how hot and humid it was outside. Also enjoyed the honeydew snow bubble and combination yogurt frost which tasted similar to a Greek yogurt parfait with fruit. The staff was very friendly, the space is cute but small more of a to-go and enjoy outside type of place. They do however have a high top table if you’re able to snag it! Definitely coming back to try more of their menu soon!“

“Wanted to try the nitro selections, but was told that the nitro machine wasn't working. So settled for cold brew wonka bar. It tasted okay-ish. Will try other coffee options next time. They do have a large latte menu which was interesting. Really loved the aesthetics of the cafe. Would be a delightful treat for star wars lovers as the shop has more decors related to star wars and stuff! Check it out for a quick coffee if you are around.“

Today, I had the chance to visit a newly revamped café in town. The café has been taken over by a new owner and officially reopened today with an entirely fresh concept. Don’t be misled by old reviews—this place is now completely different!

As soon as you step in, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is bright, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The menu offers amazing cakes, all freshly made and absolutely delicious. But the highlight for me was their **original Ethiopian coffee**. The aroma and taste are simply extraordinary, offering a truly unique coffee experience.

“Wasn’t sure what to expect and it’s not your average donut store. Your donut is made to order and you can customize the donut anyway you want. So fresh and tasty. Definitely a great treat.“

“I love hot chocolate. I'm not a coffee or (real) tea person so pretty much the only hot beverage I'll order out is hot chocolate. This Starbucks, specifically, has the best hot chocolate of any other Starbucks I've been to, in and out of the area. I always thought "the barista follows the recipe, you get the same hot chocolate," nope! This place is my all-time favorite, over restaurants and other cafes too.The staff is also fantastic. They are delightful, very nice, and always greet you with a smile. Veeeery occasionally an order is messed up (during peak times), but they'll fix it right away without a second thought. As they get to know the regulars, they know roughly what they're coming in for and the drinks are made quicker, and it's corny sounding but definitely made with love .@chocosnoblikon“

“My daughter visiting from Europe, an excellent cook in this cuisine, got all the challenging, hard to find spices and ingredients to make an incredible feast for us last month from Nazrate. Since we had the Shiro and excellent Berbere spices from Nazrate, i decided to try my hand as well. Their Injera is also authentic and very good. My wife went there to pick up more injera and the lady was very helpful and kind. I think based on last night's results we will be eating a lot more Ethiopian! (and we will back in a day or two since i made so much we need more injera for the leftovers.) I am wondering if this is a lovely cycle where you make so much that you need to buy more injera, but then afterwards have injera left over, so you make more and thus have to buy more injera because what you have won't be enough and you can see the cycle forming, :)“

“This is a great Starbucks. They have ample seating indoors and also some outdoor seating.

They have two individual bathrooms, that will need a passcode to get into from one of the employees.
