“I go here all the time and it is by far my favorite Starbucks in the area. The baristas are all extremely friendly (especially Bri) and provide excellent service. The seating is nice inside as well as outside- love that they made the outside patio an all-season area with heaters and fans and such. If I had to say one downside about the place is the parking situation- very small parking lot and I constantly see people with trailers trying to park in here and in-turn plug up the parking lot because there is nowhere to turn around. I know there is an empty lot next to starbucks- maybe one day there could be an expansion to the parking lot for these types of people with larger vehicles? If not, maybe just some signage or something to avoid traffic backups in the parking lot.

Parking: If you have a RV, trailer, or camper, please don't park in the parking lot. It is really hard to turn around and the spots are not big enough. Please park on Friendship road and walk in.“

“Parking: Nice ladies friendlySesame bagel was really good it’s content sesame and that’s some thing you don’t find in a lot of locations between Texas and upstate New York and Texas. Actually the bagels if it’s sesame plain or everything bagel they all smell everything bagel give me a bagel if it’s available somewhere it doesn’t contain any sesame it’s like spread from far away little sassy Monette, this one in this location back inside they are really doing a great job. “I went to Sweet donkey tonight for the first time since moving to Southwest Roanoke and all my friends have recommended it. I was not disappointed. “I ordered a latte and some beans. They roast their own coffee, so you can bet that the espresso shot will have a beautiful crema. They didn't make my latte too sweet. So many coffee shops drown their drinks with sugar, but Mills does coffee right. The staff is helpful and the atmosphere is relaxing.“

“I used to really love this place and go almost every week day but now I kind of go there maybe once a week and only because it's conveniently located but the convenience factor has taken a nose dive because of one recent development: When I pay $5 or $6 for a specialty iced coffee is it too much to ask that it comes with a lid that won't leak? It drips all over my hands all the way to my office and I have to change cups when I get there. If ya get a shipment of faulty lids why not just send them back? I'd rather have no lid at all than the illusion of a lid.“

“A great Starbucks. The location is good as it is near downtown, there is ample seating, and the baristas are very nice. Prices are a little high compared to a few years ago, but that is probably due to inflation. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to get a cup of coffee or something cold and maybe use their WIFI to browse the Internet.

Parking: Plenty of free parking but there are a few other businesses there so sometimes it might be difficult to find a parking space.“

“The owner's son is not disabled and parks for extended periods in the handicapped parking when he is not doing anything for the coffee shop and has been documented shooting birds at disabled people who try to park in the handicapped parking that ask him to move and saying he doesn't have to let handicapped people use the handicapped parking spot because his mom owns the coffee shop. I do not recommend Little Green Hive Grandin for anyone who has a disability or cares about people who are disabled.“

“Why did it take so long to discover this restaurant in Roanoke? Sidecar has been here a few years but with not much fanfare. This is dining at its finest in Roanoke. You will spend some money but the service and food is excellent. I was impressed with the great beer list featuring some of the world's best brews on tap, a great wine list, and cocktails traditional and new.“

“My daughter got Starbucks gift cards for her Birthday. The driver of the Limo agreed to stop on the way to the hockey game so her and her friends could fuel up for the game. We had 12 in our group when we walked in the door. They looked shocked at first then got all hands on deck and got us our drinks and off to hockey in no time. They really did an excellent job. Hindsight, I should have tipped them more than 20%. Thanks Blue Hills Starbucks!!!

“My husband and I first visited The Hotel Roanoke last year for a "mini-moon" after our marriage. This year, we revisited for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. To add to the festivities, we dine our first night at The Regency Room. The food is spectacular. The music is amazing. The environment is breath taking. The service is out-of-this-world! Would like to take a moment to thank the host for his hospitality, kindness and going out of his way to make each guest feel special. The second night of our trip he saw us walk by the dining room and followed us to the elevator to say "Hello" and to "Come see him again." I am still so impressed and touched by the gesture.“

“I made my first visit to Lucky Cat on 9/22/24. I had no idea what a cute cafe it was. I also did not know the mix of sushi menu and desserts and novelty items they offered. I had a taro boba milk tea, double scoop of gelato and two macaroons (taro & blueberry). The macaroons were super delicious. I really like the atmosphere of the cafe, wall art, lighting, furnishings, windows to the street, etc. I will check it out again. perfect college corridor venue too.“

“This place is the deity of Dunkins. Not one other location can top the staff, service and attitude of this place. Entire team is great from 6:00AM until closing. Friendly and always on spot with my order. It's a daily stop for us including weekends and I don't see it changing anytime soon.
