“Love this place! I come in all the time and get the fried rice, but the curry and pad thai are also excellent.Vegetarian options: Not every dish on the menu can be served without meat, but many can! Tofu is an option for lots of the dishes that would normally have meat, and many of the curries don't have meat either.“

I ordered the masala nachos, masala fries, palak chaat, chicken tikka masala, chicken vindaloo, veggie biryani, masaledar aloo gobi and chana masala. My family’s favorites were the chicken tikka masala and the chicken vindaloo although I kind of feel like we were mistakenly given butter chicken instead of tikka masala just based on what I’ve gotten at other Indian restaurants since it was my first time at this restaurant.I ordered a medium spice level for our order but some items like the biryani were extra spicy. My family loves spicy food so we loved it but fair warning to those with lower spice tolerances.Takeout orders need to be packaged better since my masala nachos and masala fries were very soggy even though I arrived to pick up my order right as it came out. My palak chaat was also soggy, not crispy at all. The flavors were delicious so my family and I agreed these items will only be ordered when we dine in.“

From the time I make reservations through walking through the front door of the restaurant, the service, the managers, the chef, the food, to serving the BEST ITALIAN CUISINE SINCE ITALY, and cleanliness in the restrooms. Look, I live in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where there are some of the best Italian restaurants on the East Coast but those restaurants do not compare to my Maggiano’s. I seriously have to drive out of my way, Springfield, to get the Best Italian on the East Coast. It’s worth every second. The cuisine inside this Maggiano’s tastes exactly like my Italian grandparent’s cooked it. I frequent this restaurant at least once or twice a week. “Words cannot express how happy we are that we discovered this hidden gem when we were simply looking on impulse for an Indian restaurant after a long day. The name seemed familiar from one we had eaten at in Falls Church that was a favorite of ours. And we were pleasantly surprised that they are owned by the same people. The staff here were just as courteous, helpful and efficient making sure our drinks stay full, the plates were cleared away and coming to check on how everything was. The whole experience from the presentation of the food, the portions, the quality of the ingredients, how well it was seasoned and cooked and the pricing for what you get which is a lot was right on mark in every way. We could taste the effort and love that goes into their cooking and how much they take pride in what they do. I think the food is just a bit better seasoned than their other location too. Everything tasted amazing and had our taste buds singing. We could not have asked for a better experience both times we were there for lunch and dinner and we feel most welcomed when we are there. They are wonderful proof that good food traverses boundaries and cultures amd brings people together as also witnessed by the other happy diners there of various ethnicities. Definitely on our list of places to go to and another local business we plan to support very often.Vegetarian options: I personally enjoyed the vegetable pakora, plain saag and chana masala. The only thing that could be better would be a mixed vegetarian option on their main menu either as a entree or appetizer so I could explore more vegetarian dishes before committing to just one.Dietary restrictions: I enjoyed the facts that they were gluten free, nut free and dairy free options as there are times I'm unable to consume these if I'm having digestive issues.Parking: There are quite a few food places as well as a smaller Walmart so parking can be a little challenging though we had no problems finding spots.“

“Food is awesome. Appetizers is fairly large, we had cheese curds and the pretzel, and delicious. Following that up main meal was cheese burger w/ onion rings and korean BBQ hoagie w/ truffle fries. Hoagie was outlandishly good. Onions rings and truffle fries were great. Burger was good but wasn't cooked to asked doneness, minor grievance. Our server was someone in training and she did fine. Came and checked in on us, had recommendations, etc. I think only real downside is the price as it is a tad pricey. The meal with 2 beers before tip was just under $80. Speaking of beer though, one heck of a selection. My only other downside was that the music was a touch loud as well I thought but really it was a place I'd go back to again.“

We shared the coconut shrimp and I had the jerk shrimp pineapple bowl that I requested extra spicy and it was so good! My daughter enjoyed her jerk chicken pineapple bowl. The bar is the first thing you see when you walk into the food hall. So the bar is the perfect spot for people watching and chit chat after eating from the vendors is the food hall. Definitely worth checking out as $20 goes a long way at this bar.“
“Been here a few time with my friends and it has been consistently a great time! The spot is nice, staff is very friendly and attentive, the rooms are well maintained, the tech is easy to navigate. There’s just a lot of good things I can say. I will warn you, the Karaoke is pricey (can’t remember off the top of my head) and the food is great but expensive, so eat beforehand if that is a concern for you.“
“Authentic and creative dishes - everything is delicious! I've been extremely lucky to have Taqueria Picoso catered at large gatherings, and everyone has enjoyed something. I'm nearly always the most difficult to feed in the group as I'm plant based / vegan, but it's not an issue here! Often, in order for me to eat good, I have to go to a restaurant that has a health-conscious brand (you know what I mean - green juices, salads, etc.). It can be quite challenging to find a decent, filling meal at a restaurant; my options are usually a plain salad (cheese and meat removed, but still full price!) or something made out of potatoes. An authentic restaurant? Forget about it! It's nice to actually be able to enjoy a filling meal with family and friends at Taqueria Picoso! For other plant based / vegan folks (or anyone, really!), try their vegan chorizo & potato tacos. I could also probably eat their salsa out of a bowl with a spoon...“
“My husband brought me here for happy hour oysters! He did not disappoint and neither did Clyde's. We loved it so much that we came to happy hour the following week! Must try oysters: Jacks point - briny Pemaquid - briny but sweet at same time Standish shore - briny Thatch island - briny bitter First week we went we mistakenly did not sit at the bar so we weren't able to get the wine happy hour or other specials. This was annoying because the hostess did ask if we were coming for happy hour and we disclosed that we were planning to do happy hour. There are signs everywhere advertising for happy hour and of course in super small print, it states must be seated at the bar to avail those prices. Such a shame because we would have ordered more. We each got 2 glasses of wine each- myself white (Sauvignon blanc) and my husband red (Cabernet Sauvignon), bread basket, bowl of New England clam chowder, and 2 rounds of dozen oysters. When we got the bill, we realized our mistake.. The following week, we sat at the bar and the bartender was lovely! She put our orders in as soon as we sat down and informed that not all wines are on the happy hour menu but specific white: gruner veltliner and red: Malbec and our friend ordered beer. We also ordered buffalo wings with blue cheese and ranch, side of fries, and calamari. We finished everything- tasted so good! Their sauces are on point. We will definitely be returning to this spot!“
“The pupusas and tacos are a must. They're probably some of the better tacos you can get around the Landmark area. I did order their Birria Fries, and I had mixed feelings. The meet and toppings themselves were delicious; however, the fries were soggy and actually cold. I had the Reuben and cheese and the sauce that comes with it was so good. It was the best sandwich I've ever had. My husband and sister in law had a burger and it was thick and juicy. The popcorn was bursting with flavor. All around this is the best experience I've had in a while eating out. I HIGHLY recommend this place.“
“This review is exclusively for La Fiamma's Sunday buffet, which is very good. We've been here for the buffet four times now. Though La Fiamma's buffet offering is smaller than most other buffets, its quality is head and shoulders above the rest. The atmosphere in the restaurant is relaxed. Today, service was outstanding with staffers checking frequently to see if we had everything we needed. The buffet includes an omelet bar, salads, typical breakfast items, entrees and a very decent array of seafood options. The dessert table is great with several different cakes as well as fresh fruit. The one thing I would change would be to have vanilla ice cream at the dessert table, not chocolate ice cream which is what was available today. Chocolate ice cream doesn't really go with carrot or devil's food cake. Speaking of the devil's food cake, it is flawless! Still, this our go-to option for Sunday brunch.“
