“What a start to our Richmond trip! Ordered the Rosemary Sea Salt bagel egg & cheese, salsa verde egg & cheese kolache (their specialty), and a brown sugar Rosemary Sea salt iced latte (lightly sweetened). Everything was fantastic and freshly made! Kolach is a stuffed Czech/Slovak pastry which was unique and a great blend of sweet/savory. Zack, the owner was incredibly hospitable!“
“About a 3.5: This cute Argentinian bakery serves up some daily-baked pastries. We came here when they had opened, but I think that they were having a slight delay with getting their items out of the oven. I ordered a variety box of: +a Vigilante - with cream, guava, and coconut +a beef empanada +a chicken empanada +a ham, cheese, and pineapple pastry +a Square with sliced green apples I did order a Guava croissant, but didn't receive it in the box; not sure if they charged me for it, since I didn't ask for one (user error!). I also noticed that we didn't receive any sauces (ie, chimichurri) for the empanadas. Not sure if I caught them off-guard or something! The pastries themselves tasted fresh and not too sweet, and I feel like the best time to go is when they're open first thing in the morning; I also feel that their items do sell out quickly. “I'm a regular at BAMBU, having frequented their locations in Houston and New Orleans, so I'm familiar with their menu and have tried it before. The Richmond branch maintains the same offerings but adds a Virginia twist. It offers a serene and inviting atmosphere, perfect for work, study, or relaxed conversations. The servers were friendly and accommodating, patiently assisting us with our orders. At BAMBU, Vietnamese desserts take center stage. Opting for the Fruit Addicts, I enjoyed a delightful combination of coconut milk, jelly, and various exotic fruits. While this was a fantastic choice, their other menu items are equally appealing.“
“A delightful coffee shop in the West End. I came once many years ago and it's only gotten better. I'm not a coffee drinker so I actually got a hot chocolate, but they have lots of espresso flavors and it's clear they take coffee very seriously. I did get an apple turnover, which was delicious! Perfectly flaky and full of apple filling. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating for the space, and it's clear that they have some very loyal regulars. Overall it's a very cozy space, and I'm excited to come back and try some more things from the menu next time!Parking: There's a good amount of parking here that's shared with the other businesses in this shopping center.“

“I always try to find different coffee shops besides your usual chain ones. I saw this one and came based on the ratings. I almost didn't purchase anything because the prices are on the higher side but I'm glad I did. I got their honey butter chicken biscuit and the seasonal Peppermint Bark Cookie iced latte ( if I have the wording incorrect, my apologies). The biscuits are made in house and I can definitely tell. Hands down, the best chicken biscuit I've ever had. The picture makes it look small but I promise that it was big. Almost too big lol but it was absolutely delicious. The biscuit actually had a sweet taste to it that I was not expecting. The coffee was also really good. I'm a sucker for peppermint mocha so I had to try it. It looked absolutely stunning when I got it, and there was a cookie on top as well! Flavors are very very good, not as sweet as I normally take it, but was perfect as it is. It is definitely pricier here, so if You're not looking to spend a whole lot, this isn't for you. But if your looking for quality, definitely check this place out. I'd recommend this place to eat and for coffee for sure.“

“Loved the Taro Milk Tea! Do you have those little treats that are sure fire pick -me-ups? Milk tea or boba do the trick for me- king Fu tea's taro tea was sweet, creamy and not too strong. Plus- who doesn't love marketing that reminds you to be fearless? Excited to try more flavors.“

“We visited tonight as we recently discovered how relaxed and inviting Stony Point is. We enjoyed a charcuterie board and drinks and especially the friendly staff. As our dog was watching from the door, they offered to deliver our food outside, then went back for a carafe of water for us. “I found this church from what only could have been a sign from God. I was struggling at the time trying to switch job fields to provide for my child as a single mother. One rainy morning, I was on the way to work, replaying my rusty job interview responses that did not result in a job offer. Suddenly, the car in front of me slammed on its brakes. To prevent from hydro planning, I swerved into a turn lane to avoid a collision. I had to turn into Hope's parking lot to reroute back onto Patterson to continue my morning commute to a dead end job. I strongly feel like in this moment, God was leading a lost soul back home. I attended that weekend, and the sermon was everything and more. It completely restructured where I placing my trust and faith with keeping a tight control on my life. I handed it over to him that day, and asked him to reveal his plan. Throughout that week, I heard several people repeat a line I had heard in the sermon the prior Sunday. Everything comes back in a fill circle, just like God's plan. This line kept coming back up in conversations with complete strangers. His plan will be revealed in his own time. It will come back in a full circle, but we will not know, while we are going through it. We just have to trust. One of these moments, occurred at my next job interview and I have been a member with Hope over the past 5 years. It has brought so many blessings since. Now I listen for him to guide me. In addition, they have a wonderful youth program for my son. I met my now spouse and we have a strong faith based relationship where God is the center. The music is amazing. The sermons are very scripture based and provide background context to explain why the bible is written in specific vernacular and the intentional meaning behind it. Things I never was taught growing up in my old church. I just love everything about Hope and agree, they meet you where you are. They are friendly, but not pushy. You can become as involved as you wish, and offer tons of classes and study groups. The pastors tend to rotate during each series. They do each have their own style of preaching and depth, but I recommend giving it 2-3 Sundays to feel it out if you are new, before judging a book by its cover. Not every sermon will hit you and be life changing, but they have a lot of very powerful sermons that have so much depth and leave you wanting more. The only thing is it is a pretty large congregation so it can be hard to get to know the pastors and new faces personally on busy Sundays. I recommend coming to a small group or class and get a chance to speak with them in a smaller setting where's its not as busy. Overall, I can't speak more highly of this home church. It's every thing I had been craving as a young and now older adult. I've grown so much in my faith and very thankful for Hope.“

“Maybe the best Starbucks I've ever stepped foot in. Fast, Efficient, everyone was really nice. Super clean. They even have some personal touches like a donations area, a kiddie corner with books and toys, a raffle for some prize or something. No waiting in lines in the drive thru or anything.Not docking any stars because this was truly my fault, but I wish that they had double checked that I didn’t want any sweetener in my latte, but I did not think of the fact that I had to request it, so I got a latte with no sugar/flavor which was very different from what I was expecting. Maybe this is normal practice as I don’t visit Starbucks often, but maybe just having them double check on my order or repeat my order back and mention that I had ordered no sweetener/flavors. Definitely not their fault, but just might be nice to have them ask in the future.“
“This review is for the raise the roost attached to the 711. Yesterday my order got messed up and the chicken didn't make it into my bag. I didn't realize it until I got home, but I called the store and talked to someone at RTR. I talked to a man named Kalief who remembered me and confirmed that my chicken wasn't in the bag, checked my receipt and told me to come in the next day for the rest of my meal. There was no drama, he confirmed it and my order was replaced when I came back today.Despite that I was tired and hungry from a 13 hour shift, Kalief was empathetic and professional and I appreciate that so much. Promote that man. I will be back to order more.“
“Every time I come in the staff are friendly and accommodating, no matter how overwhelmed they may be with the number of cafe and mobile orders. Especially this morning, when a very rude woman accosted the staff for having to wait for her drink. The staff remained polite, and other guests in the store apologized as they picked up their orders. Keep up the good work <3“
