“Dined here as part of a dinner group. The service was great, fast, and I love how they delivered the courses on time throughout the evening. We raved about the food. I will be coming back for that waffle & ice cream dessert! A great venue for groups. Here’s what we had:

“There is something for everyone at Her Diner! Kelly & Thida are serving up their dream come true: A fun, delicious dining and/or drinks space… that is a safe space for all! We’ve loved eating at Her Diner before it was. My child (now almost 23) and I started going for the Drag Watch party when they were 13! They would win shots for me with their drag trivia knowledge 🥰 They even did their first few drag performances there thanks to Kelly, Thida and their Queendom💝 And when Her Diner finally took form, I think the food and decor got even better! “I am here for a conference. I had just gone on a 2.5 hour walk to /exploration of memorial park & was absolutely exhausted and wanted something in the hotel that I could take up to my room. I walked in, there were no tables in sight. Super busy. I ran into one waiter, Francis/Francisco, he personally brought me to the point of sale to put in my to-go order and told me to come back and ask for him. They had it ready in 30 minutes (a quick waiting time for how busy it was), and it was amazing. Francis was so sweet. I can’t thank him enough!!“

“This is the closest Hooters to me, about a twenty to thirty minute drive with traffic. I miss the Hooters that were in Rockville and at FedEx Field. I came here for their original breaded wings and they were like how I remembered them. A bit greasy but still good. Their steamed shrimp is still good though my fries weren’t that hot. The bar itself was very animated and the staff was more than happy to play into the prizes, and the punishments >:)
Don’t yell wrongly bingo or you will regret it with a shot of fernet 🙈

The only downside of our night was the truffle Parmesan fries, we really didn’t like it and can’t recommend it. Try another side dish if you pass by.

For other people who are into bingo or trivia, they have bingo every Thursday at 7pm and Trivia every Wednesday at 7pm. As far as we’re aware it is free to participate to both.

“Amazing and fresh oysters! My sister and I sat at the bar and ordered a dozen oysters while we waited for our takeout order. Bartenders Jim and Brian were amazing, friendly, and great service!

From our takeout order, we ordered a bunch of appetizers, our favorite were the fried calamari and clam chowder soup. Definitely will be back.“

“Del Ray Pizzeria is a neighborhood icon! Best pizza in the DMV area, friendly staff, and an excellent beer list. It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Most unique of all: Flipside Speakeasy is located right above the restaurant offering a quieter atmosphere, even MORE cocktails, and a great vinyl record selection! Both are a must see on anybody’s bar hopping excursion through Del Ray.“
