We were so excited to finally find a chinese restaurant that is somewhat formal and provide good quality ingredients! I'm super picky with my meat (the , but the fresh meat, vegetables, and other ingredients truly satisfy my particular self. They never disappoint with the quality of the food and the temperature! We have tried at least 80% of their menu items, including the AYCE lunch menus, and our go-to items are: pan seared shrimp dumplings, dragon garlic spicy eggplants, singapore curry noodles, shrimp lo mein, spicy dry fried bamboo fish, numbing green peppercorn flounder, sesame chicken (it's online, not in the menu), and spicy kong pao chicken. The waitstaff and manager are all so nice in addition to the great food! We will continue to go back and we're so happy people are finding a good quality chinese food!“

There are Starbucks coffees, hot teas, and many soft drinks. There were a few small plates of meats and a few breakfast dishes. “The very best meat, spinach and cheese pies (fattayer) and kibbi, so good I had them at my wedding. I'm as Lebanese as they come, I've been eating this all my life, and hers is simply the best. The dough is unlike anything, thin yet with a flavorful body to it, and the meat spice (get the spicy one if available) and spinach filling just have to be tried. The eggplant salad and cabbage rolls are phenomenal too. Nabila is the sweetest person and the market always has great things. The homemade laban (yogurt) is the best yogurt I've ever had, which we eat with the meat and spinach pies. I always get the mejduul dates and namouurra when they're available.“

I also believe that Sheila hires off of looks because the team I was served by was very beautiful. If I were a requiter, I'd hire them all to model! The two baristas were also very helpful. With Milly, I had forgot to ask for extra dry and decaf, so the asian girl had already made it like a regular Cappuccino. But when I asked for a remake, she did so without looking at me like I was the worst person in the world lolz 😆 she just smiled, marked the wrong drink, and asked the handsome Samoan guy to help her make it.

Always read into the reviews before you dine… this place has bad reviews because of service…which I’ll agree is average.. but the food is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We ordered a to go order 30 minutes before closing and it came out perfect. You see this sear on this garlic clove.. I can’t begin to describe the attention to detail to cooking surfaces, heat, and the right amount of oil to sear garlic in this way. Nothing was burnt, veggies were crispy, everything was fresh, beef in the Chow Fun was a melty tender ribeye. Superb… just flawless execution here. This is attentive cooking in high temp woks using fresh ingredients and clean oil.
Will certainly look to dine in next time we’re in Virginia. If you want good service with mediocre food, visit Peking Gourmet… last I checked nobody is ordering Chinese food for the service.“
