“Mimmo’s has become a weekly staple for a large group of us, and we can’t say enough good things about the place. What started as a small group lunch just before 2020 has grown significantly (especially over the last year) and it’s now common for 20+ of us to show up at once every Wednesday. Despite the size of our group, the service has never missed a beat.

The staff is always incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They happily let us move tables together so everyone can sit in one long row, and they never have any issues with separate checks for a large group. Over time they’ve even started remembering many of our regular drink orders and favorite menu items, which really shows how much they care about their customers.

The food is consistently excellent. The pizza and sandwiches are always a hit, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Portions are fantastic and prices are very reasonable.

One story that really says a lot about this place: during the COVID restrictions when the group couldn’t dine inside, everyone still ordered food and gathered outside in the parking lot. The owner, Daniel, brought tables and chairs outside for everyone could still sit together and enjoy lunch. That’s the kind of hospitality you don’t see everywhere.

It’s a relaxed, family-owned restaurant with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. Our group even brings radio gadgets and tech to show each other sometimes (we’re a ham radio group), and the staff has always been completely cool with it.

If you’re looking for a great local spot with good food and genuinely kind people running it, Mimmo’s is hard to beat.”

“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite it was lovely.”

Sophia is a wonderfully pleasant hostess who is always friendly, kind and thoughtful. They are also helpful with dietary concerns. Once I went to Zheng’s, I have continued going there on a regular basis. I believe you will like it too if you haven’t already tried it before.. I also like the lunch menu with either a spring roll, egg roll or soup with the entree and rice the way you want it.”

“This was a nice surprise! We did a Google search for for breakfast places and found Roz's. It's tucked away in a pharmacy, in an older strip mall. I have driven by this mall so many times, and never noticed the pharmacy or Roz's. Retro, not fancy, friendly people and really good food, great prices. I had Western omelet with hash browns, husband had French toast with really crispy back and 2 eggs. Ask very good. We will be back for lunch specials pretty soon.”

“This location is one of my favorite McDonald's to frequent. The dining area is open and has a variety of seating options, including a screen game for kids/at heart to play. There is a lady who works there, not sure if she is a manager, but she has been very kind and considerate of her coworkers and the customers with her words and actions - which I hope she gets acknowledged and rewarded for.

The food usually is fresh tasting, but the dine-in customer wait can seem long. That seems to be the case with the competition of time spent on the drive-through customers. The bathroom is pretty nice.”

“We had never been here before, but we gave it a whirl. The dining area was very clean. The service was very nice. Logan was our server, and was polite and smiled. We asked about their food and he took time to help us with it. The manager also was very nice when we asked go talk to him. To his surprise, we took time to tell him we enjoyed the place. He made sure we got our employee’s name so we could mention in the review. We did not buy the shakes, but if I could have eaten and drank that much, I would have. The price was also very good.”

“I went through the drive through and got an egg McMuffin. Upsold me on one of the new refresher drinks. I tried the mango, it was surprisingly great. It has little boba that are kind of sour which is a nice contrast with the drink. Very nice server at the window. You can't really go wrong with a breakfast sandwich. That location has breakfast until 11 am.”
