"Where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came." Just add terrific live music, great acoustics, and the best dance floor around! Truly impressive across the board - friendly, welcoming and FUN. Pete, Kelly and their team are true professionals; they love their work and make sure everyone feels welcome. Pete personally goes from table to table - when he's not joining the band/playing guitar! Kelly is wonderful, kind, warm, and consistently books the BEST bands around. Bartender Bo is indeed "super cool" and funny. Servers Mario and Andrea are helpful, attentive, efficient, and keep everyone very well-fed. Chef Pete (different one) regularly impresses with tasty appetizers, entrees, salads (Greek is a fave), desserts, and more. More than worth a visit - keep going back! I'm proud to be a regular (OK - groupie/super-fan) and my nights at Pete's are true weekend highlights. “This place definitely delivered on its whiskey reputation and hit over its weight class on food. This was not your typical bar food by any means but what we ordered was. We had the French dip with the crispiest tator tots (why is this so hard for Restaurants to do?) the bread was soft and the Au Jous was more like French onion soup. So unique and so good! The meat board was also so fresh with large shrimp and tenders that were just dusted with flour. So crispy and so good. If you are in Mosaic in Fairfax put this one on your bar crawl/ happy hour list“

“Last night was my husband’s and my first time dining here, and it truly left an impression. One of the first things we loved was the restaurant’s commitment to giving back to the community. As soon as you walk in, there’s a sign explaining how meals are donated to local women’s shelters and how guests and staff can pay it forward by purchasing meals for those in need. Anyone facing a tough time can simply take a ticket from the wall for a prepaid meal such a thoughtful and meaningful concept.

Our server was absolutely phenomenal (I wish I remembered her name! -- She had long red wavy hair). She took the time to walk us through the menu, shared her personal favorites, and recommended several must-try tacos. Let me just say… she did not miss!

Every single bite was bursting with flavor. We tried the birria, Havana, Rus & Gus, and Peruvian chicken tacos, along with the street corn salad and veggies on the side and everything was incredible. From the food to the service to the heart behind the restaurant, this place checks all the boxes.

“IVY and ANDREA are the best waitresses there by far. 🇻🇳🇹🇭 It was my first time. IVY and ANDREA has great menu knowledge and ensured it was a great time. IVY and ANDREA were working hard, always cleaning, and having fun. They kept smiling! IVY and ANDREA kept the bar clean by making sure I had everything I needed for dining at the bar.

Those waitresses are AMAZING!!! ANDREA and IVY are beyond exemplary, very patient, and very friendly and informative with menu choices.

Every other employee there was mostly forgettable. Next time you go, ask to sit with them.

Our family has enjoyed Open Road since it opened and it has consistently remained a go-to dinner spot for our family or a game watching spot with friends. only slight drawback is parking, but worst case there is parking about 2 blocks away.“
