“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“For coming during peak after church time on Easter Sunday, the service was phenomenal. We were seated at our wait list time, and our food was brought to us in an extremely well timed manner. We had to push our appetizers aside to make room for our entrees! Staff was also very on top of keeping drinks refilled and taking empty dirty plates. Honestly, I'd give this a 10/5 if I could.“

He was friendly, attentive, personable, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Great food is expected here, but outstanding service like Daniel’s is what makes a visit memorable. The servers are always attentive, and the food well-prepared and served at the correct temperature: warm but not so hot as to burn one’s mouth. “Had dinner here on Thursday night in the bar area. Our server Destiny was absolutely amazing! She was on top of everything! The food came out and matched the service. I had the Lobster Spinach Queso which was immaculate. I also had the Wood Grilled Chicken and that was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Overall great experience! Would highly recommend!“

“One of the many highlights of last weekend’s Richmond trip was dinner at Shula's American Kitchen inside Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa | Short Pump. All the flavor of a classic steakhouse with a modern feel. We started with exceptionally constructed cocktails and shared two stunning appetizers, roasted brussel sprouts and short rib aranchini. The brussels sprouts were served with goat cheese, bacon lardens and peach vinaigrette. The vinaigrette added a sweetness that balanced out the richness of the other ingredients. The Arancini was so flavorful and perfectly balanced and an added delight that each portion was topped a short rib. Entrée, chicken Milanese, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, set a top, the most perfectly cooked Parmesan risotto. The lightly dressed arugula salad was the perfect compliment to the richness of the meal.  In addition to an amazing meal, the service was wonderfully attentive! Definitely stopping there again!“

“On a long road trip, staying in hotels close to I-95, we didn't expect fine dining from this steakhouse literally steps away from the hotel. Just convenience. What we got was fresh food, well prepared, not expensive, and attentive professional service. We're not steak lovers: my husband ordered plain grilled salmon with a green salad, steak fries and steamed asparagus and I had a green salad with grilled chicken. Our to-go order also came with a small loaf of fresh baked bread. Everything was delicious, we ate every bite. 5 stars earned.“
