“This is a nicer hotel that’s very close to the airport. The only bummer was that the shuttle to the airport in the morning only ran every half hour. Be sure to put your name on the list at the front desk because the shuttle only had room for 10 passengers. Richmond airport is easy to fly in and out of. When I have to go to the area, I’ll often turn my rental car in the night before my flight and take a shuttle to the airport hotel and then shuttle back in the morning. To pick up the shuttle to the hotel from the airport, you need to go to the middle island and to the right as you exit the baggage claim area. I would suggest calling the hotel and letting them know you’re there if you don’t see the shuttle.“

The slushes and fruit teas are also delicious and they've entertained a few custom drinks for us when we feel adventurous. I’m always in the mood for all-day breakfast items when I’m on a work trip, so I tried the pork sausage, egg and cheese on sourdough toast, and a delicious latte. Food and coffee were outstanding. It’s obvious the staff puts care in the prep of every sandwich. The toast was toasted perfectly with the right amount of crunch, eggs were lightly seasoned with pepper before whisking, and the cheese was nice and “melty”. Get your order “for here” , and Chill to the beats of new and old school jams while you enjoy this little local gem.“

“I am just mad that I'm only experiencing Roz's food now! Roz is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet and her waitress is friendly, knowledgeable, and very social. This little slice of heaven, located inside of a pharmacy in the Mechanicsville area, is a great spot for breakfast or an early lunch. There's also plenty of sweets like cakes and muffins to satisfy that sweet tooth. I hope to go back very soon and visit Roz's again.“

“I bought some Dark as Dark from the grocery store! My wife likes dark roast! She usually uses a creamer. I drink mine black! This has to be the smoothest dark roast I have ever tried! I usually end up with a bitter aftertaste with the dark roasts I have tried so far. Not with this. We bought a grinder thinking that may be the problem but even with fresh beans lots of dark roasts still give that bitter aftertaste. This is tasty all the way through! I’ll be buying this from now on and I like the fact that we will be supporting a Va business as well. We will have to try out one of your locations in Richmond some time!“

“This Starbucks location was such a pleasant surprise! The staff was incredibly friendly, and my order was ready so fast, it’s probably the quickest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. I ordered the brown sugar oatmilk espresso and my husband ordered the summer lemonade, they were so great and tasted perfect! My kids got their favorite which are cake pops.

The inside was spacious, bright, and filled with natural light. I really loved the clean, modern feel of the store, and there was plenty of seating both indoors and outside. The landscaping out back was beautiful and made the whole place feel extra inviting. Overall, just a great experience in a great location.“

“I would just like to say that I am very impressed with the Starbucks employees at Target. Yesterday I bought a gift card and ordered a drink and the young gentleman was extremely nice but I was overly impressed with the fact that the lady after me began asking him questions in sign language and she placed her order with him. He communicated with her and she seemed very happy to be able to talk to someone about her purchase. I would just like to say to this young man “good job” you are essential and important and we are lucky to have someone who can communicate with all customers“

“I love the non dairy options. The customer service is usually awful but the good ice cream cancels it out for me each time. 🤣 They need training, they treat you as if you ordering bothers them. No smiles no greeting just tilted heads and attitude. One lady was so dismissive to us and had the nerve to make us wait while she trained two girls on milkshakes. We were like hello and she literally ignored my husband. 🤭 5 stars to the non dairy ice cream though.“

“I had a much better experience at this location instead of the one close to my house. I was greeted when I walked in, holiday tunes playing, people enjoying the atmosphere & my hot tea was on point. If you feel a head cold coming on or have one, the medicine ball is the best thing to get you through the day. My drink was perfect. My lemon pound cake was FRESH too!“
