Subway in Virginia Beach

“After a busy Saturday, we decided to go get subway. I love the convenience of being able to order on an app and then pick up your food when it's ready. Unfortunately, the worker may have gotten a little too ambitious and said the order was completed but it was still being worked on. No worries, it was only 2 extra minutes of waiting so it wasn't bad. It was a little busier than expected so we didn't mind at all. I was really feeling a meatball marinara, but I was slightly disappointed because it tasted sweet and I think it may be due to the marinara sauce, possibly some sugar in the sauce, not sure. Overall it was okay, but would not order it again. Would probably stick to my Buffalo chicken as I know I love spicy and I wouldn't be getting a sweet taste to my sub.“

“This Subway off NorthHampton & located at 1270 Diamond Springs Road is Magnificent. My favorite cold cut trio was perfect and I even used the APP to order. I am difficult when it comes to toppings and they provided a perfect sandwich. The store's team were friendly and quick to provide our sandwiches. It is great to walk into this Subway and it is so clean and neat. We will be ordering again soon.“

“The employees were two young men and they were very kind. Another gentleman paid for our food and the employee let us know privately. This subway was very clean and I have never received such amazing service at a smaller food place. I would recommend this particular subway to everyone.“

“I had an All American Club with Italian cheese which was very nice. The staff was so friendly and I like the fact that you see the way they build your sandwich. Will definitely try the Marinara Meatball next time.Very informal atmosphere which is good for friends getting together for a quick meet.“

“Hands down the best subway sandwich and experience we’ve ever had! We went into this our normal subway which has been remodeled but we’ve been there since then. The look is very nice and clean but that isn’t what compelled me to make a review. Normally we order honey oat but they only had one left so we picked Italian as a substitute for one of the sandwiches. After scooping two scoops of tuna the sandwich artisan asked if I wanted to switch bread and explained that the bread seemed stale so I went with wheat. Every ingredient I added looked and was super fresh. The tuna was nice and moist as well. Our sandwiches were simply delicious to the point that my mouth is still watering after finishing it. Maybe the staff added to the flavor fullness of our meals but in any case we will be returning. We appreciate the care in treating us like valued customers when so many places where you can get a quick meal do not. Thanks again and we will absolutely be continuing to dine at this location! “Subway has these new heros subs with freshly sliced meats. I got a chance to grab a Grand Slam and was not disappointed! Freshly sliced ham with provolone cheese on a toasted Italian roll with tomatoes, onions (and I added spinach and black olives) with a garlic aoli and it was a good combo!“

“Today I went with my father. His vision is low and he's older so we were moving slow and talking alot.Thankfully it wasn't busy. The staff was super patient and didn't give us a hard time at all. Pretty busy for an hour out from closing. Two employees & the wait was a bit long (15-20 minutes) to include them completing online orders. My sub was exactly what I wanted! “Just like all the other subways they have everything that all the other ones have. However we visit here frequently and the staff is always Pleasant and quick in-and-out service. The owner which I believe is usually always there working behind the counter is on point and very friendly.“

“Great service and able to accommodate on-line orders. Placed an on-line order on our way home from a full day at the Oceana Air Show. We normally don't have cheese on our sandwiches, but the sandwich artists thought we had forgotten while building our sandwiches on-line. They had to-go cheese packages waiting for us just in case. Extremely thoughtful and considerate. Glad this team and location is walking distance from our base housing, we will be back often.“

“I haven't eaten at a subway in years. I was pressed for time on my lunch and decided to give them a try. I ordered the mexicali salad and boy it did not disappoint. Nicole offered suggestions, made it look like it belonged in a magazine, she was sweet and very professional. I don't remember subway ever tasting like this. I will definitely be back for lunch.“

“When you've been to one subway it feels like you've been to them all. So it's really about the service you get. Everyone was friendly. They were very efficient in making the sandwiches and for them done quickly. There were only 4 of us but they were patient while we decided. The store was clean. The only downside was a bit of sticker shock at prices. We could have easily gone to a casual sit-down place and paid the same for a full meal not just sandwiches. But that's no reflection on the store, they did a good job making sandwiches.“

“You don't go to Subway for the menu, you go to ease your hunger, not much has significantly changed. The young man that took my order was polite and pleasant. My son made his selections and the young man was patient, listened, and provided exactly what an indecisive 8 yr old could asked for. He was efficient in preparing our meal, changing his gloves as needed and especially between customers.“

“My review is more about the honesty of the staff at this location than the food. My friends and I arrived in Virginia Beach late and this subway was the only thing still open. I somehow left my wallet and did not realize until the next morning. After retracing my steps I contacted Subway and was told my wallet was there. The employee asked me questions to verify my identity and my wallet was returned to me. ALL of my cash (over $300) was there along with all of my credit/debit cards. Honesty is rare in this day and I am extremely grateful for the honesty of all the employees at this location. Thanks again for playing your part to restore my faith in People!“
