“Stopped in for a Sunday lunch after going to the bird museum. Good spinach amlnd artichoke dip, along with the sticky icky chicken nachos. It was wonderful to taste some food with actual spice in it, but the winner was the chocolate maple porter they brew on location. I can't imagine anything they brew or serve being bad and I look foward to going back.
As a side note, the prices were high but that is the world we live in now, and I would much rather pay to eat here than similarly priced establishments l.“

“We had such fun ? The Entire Team of Well Polished Professionals created the perfect blend of personality gently mixed with an easy positive vibe, the Mexican cuisine out of this world and OUT of of this Universe are the speciality cocktails. Ya, it is a bit pricy but this is not Taco Bell. Go completely to the other side of the spectrum, add some Phish & Buddha & you got Big Spruce ❣️❤️?❣️ No, not done. This organization continues to evolve. Soon they will have many new and exciting offerings. They are feeling there way meticulously in order to offer you and me the best possible, highest quality experience. We were told the same owners we did not have the pleasure of meeting thus time, however, Bella one of their daughters is seriously an angel on earth ? Apparently, these folks own and run, hands on, the Restaurant across the street too!“

“From the moment I stepped foot at Jules on the green I noticed how maintained the dining area was. The tables were spotless, and the floors were free of any debris, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were professional, and they were able to assist me with what I needed as soon as I walked in. Jules on the green not only offers delicious food but also prioritizes cleanliness, making it an amazing dining experience. Highly recommend!“
“Super-fun experience at the culinary experience at the Essex Resort in Essex, VT. Our instructor, Denise, led us through the recipes and techniques to create a wonderful Vermont dinner that included roasted root vegetables, braised chicken (in dark beer and demi-glacé) with shallots and a variety of mushrooms, and a lovely kale salad. We were given the opportunity to decorate autumn themed sugar cookies as well as dip tiny apples into a luscious caramel coating. A small group of 9 students made the experience very intimate. Our meal was served with wine and fresh bread accompanied by an herbed compound butter. Denise was a perfect instructor and I would recommend the experience to anyone who loves to cook.“

“Great food, friendly service, very reasonable prices. That's what keeps me coming to Papa Nick's, usually once a week (more often in the summer). And I have to drive over the mountain from Fayston to do so. I love this place--Voula does a fantastic job. I just wish they could some day go back to having their Greek Nights on Thursdays. (They do have occasional Greek entrees but it's just not as predictable as it was before the pandemic. Then again, nothing is...) Highly recommended!“

“Simply the best sandwich place around. The bread is absolutely delicious and is what pushes their sandwiches to a 10/10 instead of just an 8 or 9. Everything else is cooked and made perfectly; excellent portions and reasonably priced. Service is fast and tireless, they work hard and it shows. I don’t often tip for pickup service, but I always will here, and at 20%+. Highly, highly recommend Paisley Hippo.“

“Great dinner! for a national chain steakhouse. You get what you expect at a reasonable price. The complimentary honey wheat bread is ok –the Outback Steakhouse bread is better. We started with and enjoyed the parmesan crusted spinach dip – the parmesan cheese topping added an extra flavor. Flo’s Filet and NY Strip are favorites and they were cooked as ordered. There are a ton of great side choices. The extra charge for signature mac cheese and crispy brussel sprouts are worth it. The loaded baked potato is good but could use more of the toppings. The broccoli and salad are healthy choices I always like the French onion soup. Skip the asparagus which was dry and wood like. Service was prompt and friendly. You can pay through the phone app. Though we did note a thick layer of dust on the booth wall fixture.“

“I’m in town briefly while my dog is having surgery at a specialty center. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before picking him up to go home. I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“

“We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.“

“Food was horrible, 6 empty bins. When we complained they said they were getting ready to close because of weather so they stopped cooking. I asked why we are being charged full price she responded, "You lucky we open" No! you're lucky I paid the bogus bill of 52.00 for lunch for 2. Oh, they now add on 18% gratuity automatically, you have no say about it.“

“Usually have a great time there. Our first bartender Matt was fantastic. Very personable and made us feel welcome. The second one, Brendan not so much. He definitely did not have the right attitude for the hospitality business. Maybe he was just having a bad day?“

“The Kitchen Table is my favorite restaurant - they have fabulous local food sourced from local farms. The food is healthy and affordable and super high quality. If you have special diet requirements, the chef is always willing to accommodate your needs. The ambiance is friendly, warm, historic, and intimate. I highly recommend The Kitchen Table.“
