“My husband and I stumbled upon this place when we were visiting Waterbury for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first meal in the area, and was a wonderful way to start our trip! The food was incredible, and they had some vegetarian and gluten-free options, which I need and hard to come by sometimes. The service was prompt and the staff were very kind and warm. We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area!

“Beautiful tasting room and easy access if you're just passing through! There is plenty of parking and other things to do including a Cabot's creamery, a chocolate shop and a sandwich shop for lunch! The tasting room is small with a single counter for tasting and a wall of bottles for purchase but it's well worth the wait if needed. You can even sample the syrups while you wait for free! Our hostess was very informative about all of the spirits and very appreciative of each of her customers. She talked a bit fast but that's understandable in the environment, it's busy!! We each did a tasting, the special tasting and the regular, so we got to try almost everything! Our cabinet and fridge got a few new additions with the canned vodka sodas and a single barrel. I highly recommend a stop and a tasting of the Hopped Gin, whether you're a gin drinker or not!! We visited in August 2024.“

“Recently my family got takeout from China Star. We got the pork Lo Mein, Crab Rangoons, and Orange chicken. It was all delicious and I recommend going there to eat in or take out. I especially liked the Orange chicken and pork lo Mein but it was all good. Service is quick and easy and the employees are always friendly. (Jacob age 12).“

“One of the best meals we had while visiting VT was at the Reservoir. OMG!! The poutine appetizer was absolutely unbelievable. It was cheesy and bacony goodness. We wanted to lick the plate at the end. My smash burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Loved it so much! It was so juicy and delicious. The salad was a good side dish. My husband opted for a plain chicken sandwich instead of the hot chicken. Hot chicken would have had more flavor. My cousin loved his cheesesteak. He said it was one of the best cheesesteaks that he’s ever had. It was super juicy and delectable. My other cousin loved her mahi mahi sandwich. She wanted something different and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive, very personable and gave great food recommendations. He deserves a raise. The Reservoir is a must visit when in Waterbury. Everyone loved the food and the service. Wish it was closer. I’d be there all the time. We’ll be dreaming about it until our next trip.“

“We stopped in for dinner during our trip to Stowe. The food was really good. Our waitress forgot our fries and the kitchen had closed, so that was a bummer. She did compensate us though and that was nice. Overall, it’s worth the wait if you can’t get a reservation.“

“Today was my second road trip to Stowe VT.(3 hour drive each way) This trip is well worth it. Their craft beer is so delicious! The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive to all questions. The brewery always has something different and very tasty. Fantastic Beer, Fantastic Brewery, and Fantastic Staff. If you like craft breweries this is must on your list.“

“Best apple cider in New England. The standard cider tastes like any other. But Cold Hollow’s sparkling cider and the cider flight you can order at the counter are fantastic! And if you venture across the parking lot to the gift shop, they have cider slushes that cannot be beat! With the fall foliage, the large stacks of apple crates around in the parking lot and the smell of cider in the air, Cold Hollow is the perfect representation of autumn in Vermont. Love it!

Kid-friendliness: They provide cornhole outside, picnic table seating on the patio under cover and a cider tasting area in the gift shop where kids can see the cider being made.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have provided a ramp to the front door and the tables can easily accommodate a wheelchair. There is also plenty of space around the tables to maneuver. The bathrooms however left much to be desired.“

“We came on a rainy day for lunch and it wasn’t crowded at all. Service was fast and pleasant. Food was pretty good - we tried the pretzels and the brats - and the beer was really quite delicious. They have a beautiful sun room to sit in on the rainy days and still feel like you’re outside and you can look in to see some of the brewery if you go upstairs. We’d definitely be back if we were in the area again.“

“Best Thai restaurant so far! As an Asian myself, the Flavor was authentic and not lacking- it’s the real deal, not watered-down/fake ingredients. The price was a bit high, but it’s the best Thai food quality you can find in the area. Top-notch. Server was super kind!“
