“Listen ya'll...Warren's Kitchen is the only joint around for great Jamaican flair! Chef has done a wonderful job, fusing culinary delicacies to complement Alchemist's great beer! The menu has something for everyone/all ages. I'm glad chef convinced me to keep his bbq sauce on my burger! “This is a beautiful spot by the winooski river, we ate on the outside porch with a view of the river, even saw a mother Robin feeding its young in a nest in the rafters. I had linguine pescatore which was delicious, my partner had scampi e cape sante also delicious but unfortunately both meals were light on the scallops hers had 1, also I have to wonder why some sort of bread wouldn’t be served with these dishes. I did mention to staff after and they offered to compensate which I turned down but was made sure I would be treated next time we’re in the area The staff here are great and service was quick, definitely a place to go“

It is very tasty and thicker than normal maple syrup. The maple bourbon was also excellent. Definitely worth a stop if visiting the area.“

“Royal Orchid has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Montpelier whenever I'm craving Thai food. I've been on a serious Thai food kick lately, and every meal I've had here has completely hit the spot.

One of my favorites is the fried rice with squid. The portions are generous, the flavors are balanced, and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. It's the kind of meal that keeps you thinking about it afterward.

The atmosphere is also really welcoming. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes the whole dining experience feel comfortable from the moment you walk in.

The only thing that surprised me was the dessert selection. After such a strong meal, I found myself wishing there were a few more dessert options to choose from. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was one of the few areas where I felt there could be a little more variety.

Overall, if you're looking for great Thai food in Montpelier, Royal Orchid is absolutely worth visiting. Great food, welcoming service, and a consistently enjoyable experience.“

“Superb food and service! We hired Green Goddess to cater over the course of a 4 day event. We couldn't have been happier with the food and service. First of all, the food was just amazing. For variety, we did four unique types of dishes for each day and each one were fabulous. They also easily accommodated for food restrictions/allergies/veg options at every meal that weren't afterthoughts. The hot food was amazing and the sandwiches were superb!“

“One of the best meals we had while visiting VT was at the Reservoir. OMG!! The poutine appetizer was absolutely unbelievable. It was cheesy and bacony goodness. We wanted to lick the plate at the end. My smash burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Loved it so much! It was so juicy and delicious. The salad was a good side dish. My husband opted for a plain chicken sandwich instead of the hot chicken. Hot chicken would have had more flavor. My cousin loved his cheesesteak. He said it was one of the best cheesesteaks that he’s ever had. It was super juicy and delectable. My other cousin loved her mahi mahi sandwich. She wanted something different and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive, very personable and gave great food recommendations. He deserves a raise. The Reservoir is a must visit when in Waterbury. Everyone loved the food and the service. Wish it was closer. I’d be there all the time. We’ll be dreaming about it until our next trip.“

“Amazing place really. I wasn’t expecting a ski mountain to have such an amazing restaurant! The James Moore tavern is fantastic. I ordered the Smashburger with fries and some unique morsels known as duck rangoons. The burger had a crispy patty that was seasoned perfectly, as well as onion jam, a brioche bun, and garlic aioli. The fries were crisp and flavorful and the duck rangoons were fantastically unique and delicious. Sadly they were out of their butter cake but the peanut butter pie was delicious. Probably the best ski food I’ve ever tried!“

Maybe I’m being dramatic after being deprived of Mexican food as a San Diego native while living in NYC (it’s all garbage), but wow this spot made me so happy. I got the ground beef for my enchiladas. Flavorful, tender, real corn tortillas, cheesy, all around so good. Also got a great Vermont Mexican lager that was really nice. I tried all the salsas too! “This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. They are always busy, but no matter how busy always friendly and attentive. Waitstaff really hustles. Highly recommend the Hunan Triple. Lots of veggies cooked just right with Shrimp, chicken, and beef in a great sauce.“
