Place has been in our rotation for years, but the bread pudding muffin takes Adagio up a notch in my book. Pastries were average before, but we didn’t come for pastries. We came for beans snd vibes. A classic northwest coffee place from the golden age of coffee culture. A spiritual center of downtown Bellingham vibes that I hope lasts forever.

Now, they’ve always had great beans, but frankly the milk steaming and pouring execution had been getting a little weak for a while. But I think he was training an apprentice and showing em how it’s done, so it was amazing. We left our visit feeling like we should come once a week for that bread pudding muffin with coffees.“
