“I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE!! Highly recommend, even if it's a walk off the main Winslow strip. These guys have the cleanest pho broth in town, dangerously addictive beef dumplings, and incredible BBQ pork Banh Mi. Their house-made chili oil is wicked good, as well as their milk tea options. They also have great vegetarian delights for you as well! They're incredibly friendly and hospitable, with very quick service. If you're looking to get some premium quality Vietnamese food, this is the spot! If you're taking a tour of BI, I highly recommend going here! Big up Green Pot Deli!”

“OMG. It's Amazing!! We went to the Witch's Haunted High Tea Service and it was EXTRAORDINARY! Do not miss this. We do afternoon tea service all over. I have a three sisters and it's our fun thing to find unique and eclectic places to have a proper tea service. The food was incredible and the tea was spot on. One side note i would change is the only way to make reservations is you have to call but they squeezed us in.”

“I love Eleven Winery, it’s my favorite place for wine on the island. Both the tasting room on Winslow Way and the winery and tasting room on NE Day Rd are great, and every staff member has always been fantastic. Connor now makes wine, but we loved him when he was serving too, he’s a great person and it’s awesome seeing him helping make great wine. In the tasting room we’ve been helped by Tiffany, Aiden, Jill, Brooke, and Ashley, and they’re all wonderful. Our wine glasses are never empty. They do sell some snacks, but the big plus is that you can bring in outside food, so you can bring whatever you want and really make your own perfect tasting.”

“Amazing bakery, exactly what you are looking for in a small beach town shop. The baked goods are unbelievable, very high quality. The coffee is cheap and hot. Nestled in beside the historic Lynwood theatre and the treehouse cafe (another outstanding stop), the vibes are off the charts. Novice visitors go to Winslow, but the wise traveler goes to Pleasant Beach.”

“Sawadty is very near my home, 3 minutes away. There are at least two other Thai restaurants on the Island, and they are each good in their own way. But Sawadty does delicious take-out, since the pandemic, and my favorite is their Rama Tao Hoo - just tofu, spinach and peanut sauce. But the sauce is the best I have ever had, and the service is excellent as long as you're clear on when the food will be ready.”

“We love our local market! Town & Country has grown and updated their interior beautifully! We love it. If I have ever had a question or an issue with a product I have spoken with the appropriate department person and have always had a speedy and positive response. Many changes to products have happened over the last year, with occasional hiccups as new things are tried. But, we have found that ultimately it has all been for the better. The store may be sleeker, but the heart is still there in spades. I am amazed how they came through for us during COVID and still are! Kudos, Bainbridge Island T&C!”

“I've waited a long time for a close by Chinese takeout style place, and I was very happy to see Pau's open. The crab rangoons are delicious, and the General Tso chicken was perfect. My friend loved the shrimp fried rice and the wonton soup. Definitely looking forward to trying more of their menu! ( I do wish there was a larger bubble tea selection, especially as I prefer popping boba or jelly to the usual tapioca, but that's not a serious failing lol)”

Their chicken pita dish is delicious, and the side of baklava makes for the perfect sweet finish. “This post is from Pacific Northwest Foodies. Doc’s Marina Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been on the quest for a great Crab Louie salad for a few years. Sadly, this classic crab salad is hard to find even in states like Washington. I suspect it has to do with most people not wanting to pay a lot of money for a salad, but if you’ve ever had a great one, you know this one is worth it. After doing a lot of research, I made a point to try the one at Doc’s Marina Grill on Bainbridge Island, Washington. There’s also a location in Port Townsend, Washington. For starters, I ordered a cup of Doc’s House Made Clam Chowder ($8) - famous because it’s “oh-so-good!” It needed a sprinkle of salt, but it was very good. For my entrée, I ordered Doc’s Dungeness Crab Louie ($38) - mixed greens topped with tender crab, seasonal vegetables, heirloom tomatoes and Doc’s house-made Louie dressing. I was impressed! I would rate Doc’s Crab Louie a 4/5. It was beautifully presented, had a generous portion of crab, and the house made Louie dressing was excellent! I would give this salad a perfect rating if they removed the red onion, and added a few black olives and asparagus spears. Even so, I was very happy with my salad and would rank it among one the best Crab Louie’s I’ve ever had. It is certainly the best I’ve had in Washington state. In addition to serving great food, I really enjoyed the ambience of Doc’s, and the service was excellent! I look forward to visiting again and try and some new menu items. *The upstairs level and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. * There is an opening above the urinal that is a giant periscope. It provides a panoramic view of Eagle Harbor. It was designed by Lee Scott, a Carnegie Mellon graduate student. If you don’t use a urinal, but are interested in seeing the periscope, staff will clear the room so you can check it out too. I didn’t know about this until after my visit. Next time, I will be sure to check it out. 😊 Highly Recommended!!!”
