“Ohh macarons is so scrumptious! I recommend them to friends, co-workers, family, and on my community Facebook page! I even brought them on a crosscountry plane for a picnic i was having with old college friends! I appreciate the regular menu (I always get a salted caramel), but I LOVE the rotating weekly flavors and designs! These macarons are a work of art...I'm not kidding, the special Derpy (K-PoP demon hunters character) macaron....well I bought 6: one for my and one each for my friends. One friend refused to eat it for over a week because it was too cute!! The drinks are delicious and the service from the owner and top notch.“

“So yummy! I had their avocado toast with a fried egg added, a cardamom bun and black coffee. The bread for the avocado toast was very thick and a very nice grainy, nutty flavor to it. The lemon and za’atar seasoning on the avocado added the perfect flavor to it. The cardamom bun was so yummy, this is great if you want something a little sweet but not too sweet. The coffee was perfect- I typically only add cream and sugar to coffee if the flavor is mediocre, but this coffee was already so good that I didn’t need to add anything to it. I definitely want to come back and try more things on their menu.“

I chose a variety of items to try, the regular croissant, the chocolate hazelnut croissant, the pan au chocolat, and the Kouign amann. Each and everyone of them was amazing. “Sea Wolf is always a favorite stop when I’m anywhere north of downtown Seattle, Lake Union, or Fremont. Their baguette is truly the best in the entire Seattle area, and is the closest to the baguettes that I’ve had in France. (Though it might feel a little pricey, I think you get what you pay for and it’s worth it.)

— The green vinaigrette pizza is awesome.
It’s the perfect balance of a savory focaccia pizza with a green vinaigrette on top for some acidity. Make sure you get a side of their homemade ranch with it (even if you don’t like ranch with pizza—this one is different!)

— The baguette is a must. All of the breads are fantastic.

— Coffees are always good.

—The atmosphere inside is nice. There are tables to sit down and get some work done with your food or meet a friend for a coffee and a pastry.

“I stopped by Grand Père Bakery in Mountlake Terrace for a quick late breakfast at 1045 and had a really enjoyable experience. I ordered an almond croissant, and it was the standout of my visit. It had excellent flavor, plenty of almonds, and that satisfying richness you hope for in a good almond pastry.

I also tried a regular croissant. It was flavorful and well‑made, but naturally more plain compared to the almond one. It didn’t have the same depth of richness, though that’s expected for a classic croissant.

To go with everything, I ordered a large latte, and it was absolutely delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and a perfect match for both croissants. The latte really tied the whole visit together.

Overall, a great stop for quality pastries and a fantastic latte. I’d definitely return to try more of their baked goods.“

“My family is from Northern Ireland, we have loved visiting the British pantry for over a year regularly until recently. While I would recommend the food store attached and the food in the restaurant the wait staff, 2 women in particular have been so rude to me and to my small children, multiple times! At first I thought I was being over sensitive, maybe they were having a bad day but it's happened 3 times now. My children are very used to restaurants, one has severe allergies so we always bring stuff for them and the other is nero-diverse and struggles to accept food that looks different than the previous visit etc. While other restaurants have been amazing with our kids, these two women have always had something judgmental to say. We typically buy our kids something from their attached store and have them eat that in the restaurant but on our last trip one of the ladies felt the need to tell my 5 year off for eating food that wasn't from the restaurant! I repeat she spoke directly to my 5 year old and scared her, all because she was eating a treat bought in the attached store! I have spoken with the owners daughter on one of our first visits and she said it was absolutely fine! Asides from these two servers attitudes towards my family they act as if we are an inconvenient to them. Everyone who works there has been wonderful, especially the young fella who typically works in the store, my children think he's so fun and sweet, he always takes a moment to chat with them, and a young girl who gave my daughter she water in a teapot with a teacup because she was a princess 😍😭 anyways if you made it through all of this thank you! summary food is good, but we will avoid it until two servers in particular are not on shift or have left 🫠“

“An amazing huge bakery of delicious goodness. The cakes were so pretty during the new year.
We had the Blueberry Yogurt Cake which was one of the first time I having an Yogurt Cake and it was amazing. Soft and delicious cake , full of blueberry goodnesses.

The chocolate chiffon cake was another soft delicious cake.

Parking is a nightmare if you don't get lucky. There is no immediate street parking and this bakery is on the busiest intersections in Redmond.

The service behind the counter was friendly but slow, they seemed to short staffed when we went during the holidays.
