“I really like the pizza here. The crust is not too thick or to thin and the toppings are good.
Reminds me of a hometown pizza place called Campanas over on the Peninsula my folks used to take us too as kids. Toppings were just enough of everything and good flavor. The house red wine is really smooth, restaurant itself is a old Burien school Italian vibe. I will be getting pizza from here again. One of of my top 3. Prices are pretty decent as well.“

“What a wonderful experience! Impeccable service during the 7:45pm reservation on 2/21–table 35 (our receipt says we were sat with Linda, but for some reason I think her name was Robin). The focaccia was an excellent start, the 12oz cap ribeye was amazing, but the star was the limon butter pasta. Wow, didn’t think any other spot in seattle could compete with Spinasse on pasta. Il nido exceeded on the overall experience and atmosphere. Dinner was complemented with an excellent and reasonably priced amarone which is a rarity. Overall excellent experience and can’t wait to return!“

The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated — chic, eclectic, and a little bit artsy — and when the live music starts, it’s pure magic. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. From the appetizers to the pappardelle pasta and rabbit (plus alllll the bread), everything was beyond delicious. Huge shoutout to our server, Jeannie, who was amazing — warm, attentive, and clearly loves what she does. We left already planning our next visit. “PortoVino feels like a hidden upscale speakeasy, with a full enticing menu. Low glowing moody lights, delicious pasta and wine, along with great music. The night I attended, I comfortably read a book over dinner at the bar solo, there were couples, families and a group celebrating a birthday. It's open, yet cozy and warm. Great hidden Des Moines gem, just a short walk away from the waterfront. Extra plus, the staff are lovely and knowledgeable people.“

You just ate the freshest pasta with height of the season specialized ingredients. You know, like they do in Italy, and it's worth every penny. Have you ever had a walnut pesto with sauteed fiddlehead ferns, leeks, and aleppo pepper flakes? I can't say enough good things about how amazing it was and you get to watch the very cool, friendly crew make everything in the open kitchen. I did pass on the $14 wine pour because that's not right for lunch. That would get me a whole carafe in Italy.“

“This was by far the most delicious and incredible Italian food I’ve had in my life. The service was impeccable. I truly felt like a queen, and my daughter and I were treated like absolute royalty from the moment we walked in.
A huge shoutout to our amazing server, Christina, who delivered not only phenomenal food, but a surreal customer experience. She was attentive, knew all the specials by heart, and was genuinely warm and pleasant throughout the night.

“This may be my new favorite Italian restaurant! Came here on a whim and was so impressed. The food was perfect. We got the lasagna and the steak and I can’t decide which was better. Best lasagna I have ever tried, the steak was cooked to perfection. Our server April was so warm and kind! She made our experience that much better. We will be coming here every time I’m craving Italian. Highly recommend for anyone who wants the most authentic tasting Italian food ever!“

I enjoyed that plate very much. the sauce pairs with the duck very well. it's fork licking good. the carbonara I didn't care for, I didn't finish it. it didn't taste quite balanced. also my pasta was under cooked. I checked to see if maybe I was given buccatini on accident but no, it was just underdone spaghetti. overall, I'll try it again. my experience I think was good for a first visit“

And the food was 10/10 stars, absolutely delectable and I wanted to basically lick off my plate haha. “The manager here is completely rude to his customers and his staff. Refuses to refund or replace and item made incorrectly. Just terrible customer service. Think twice before giving your money to such a terrible person. Read many other reviews that talk about how the staff here is treated. The food is mediocre at best, but even of it was better, service matters. I'd encourage the owners to think about how they treat people and how they would like to be treated as a customer when the business was at fault. Disgusting. There were mushrooms sent to a kid with an allergy when it was clearly noted on the order to leave them off, there was a hair in the pizza. I would encourage the owner to take a class in customer service and learn to do what is right instead of being rude and snarky.“
