“Takeout with a lot of delicious options. Great price (it's simply priced by weight). Nice people too.I went ten minutes before closing, and some of the popular items like terriyaki chicken, salmon, or mac n cheese was out, but there was still enough variety of good food to choose from. I'll come back earlier next time.“

“I enjoyed kimchi pizza and bibimbap; the owner was kind enough to substitute tofu for chicken in my meal. The kimchi pizza was delicious, although I'm unsure if the kimchi contained fish sauce, as I forgot to ask, and am a vegetarian. Overall, it was a good experience; the bibimbap was satisfactory (3/5).“

“ONLINE ORDER ONLY!!
I love evergreens. Docked a star because this spot is a walk up window that only takes online orders. Wish I would’ve known that before walking to it! The QR code outside of the restaurant didn’t work and the staff there didn’t even know what location/address they were at (I needed to select it for the online order).
Food was exactly as expected for evergreens. Tastes like any other evergreens I’ve been to. Just be warned about needing to order ahead.“

“Delicious food, came out hot and fresh in 7 minutes. Didn't once think I needed ketchup/hot sauce on the taters; they were full of flavor. Super friendly and welcoming staff.“

“Stumbled upon Slicebox the other day having driven past it on my daily commute. Being from Upstate NY I was quite impressed with the quality of the slices. From NY Slices to Sicilian and Pan Pizza. The pan pizza was amazing with pepperoni and hot honey!“

“Not busy, service didn’t take long. Food was good but not outstanding. Had the fettuccine which was a good sized and filling portion, though the sauce had split. For the price I’d say this was a better option compared to the other stuff around the airport.“

“Perfection on all levels. I walked in not knowing what I wanted, and the service worker helped me pick the exact sushi burrito to fit my palate.
I was amazed at the high quality rice, seaweed, and, omg, the pineapple was sliced so perfectly and was so well balanced by other ingredients that I have to take a break before the second half to write this review, as I bask in the joy of the first half. Mood-altering!“

“I went there randomly. Knocked at the door and Auntie came by, and told me everything's gonna take some time. I opted for just the Cheesecake as the neighborhood looked a little sketchy to be waiting around cluelessly. Mama was so sweet and endearing she gave me sambusas too. And the raspberry white chocolate Cheesecake was MIND BLOWING.“

“Bad delive. It takes. hours to get my pizza it was very cold. I have a issue. I called them, they didn't even take care of it, they give me number to call the driver, something that they should take care of it, i call them again and it was like. Let me get you the manager, and I was on hold for like 15 minutes. They come back and they say Can we call you back? And they never did bad business, I will never recommend anybody // i would like to say this. I had a bad experience for the driver. I deliver the food but this company being fair and they refund the money back to me and I really appreciate it for consideration.“

“Surprising unexpected delight by the side of a busy road with not a lot of foot traffic between Swedish Hospital and Virginia Mason! I think more could be done with the decor, and it was understaffed, but the food was AMAZING! I can see why it is so highly rated - the meat is perfectly bribed or seasoned or whatever magic they do to make it tender and infused with flavor throughout. We had the Gyro plate and the Beef Shwarma plate along with the Baba Ganoush - each was excellent in their own way, and the garlic dressing in the accompanying salads is to kill for. Will come again!“

“#mylocalseattlehangout It’s important for me to feel at home somewhere, regardless of where I am… to call it my favorite “go-to”. (My home-base is Maryland). These guys really bring some comfort to my stay at Mercer Island. Thank you Jason, for creating a “Crawlspace” for this weary traveler/healthcare worker. I found a place where I can just relax every week (maybe twice a week), and help with some of my homesickness. The food always hits the spot, no matter what I’ve ordered. And the drinks… good stuff!!! My favorites are the spam musibi, the seared ahi, and the japchae with bulgogi! They even have their jokes for me already, and know that I don’t like spicy. GO SUPPORT JASON…like… NOW 😁@the_crawlspace_gastropub … and his awesome team. Shoutout to Ben the bartender too!“

“We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday afternoon, and it wasn’t very busy. The service was excellent, even though we kept changing our minds while ordering. The food came out fairly quickly. We ordered fish cakes as an appetizer, Pad Thai and crispy garlic fried chicken as our main dishes, and Thai tea for drinks. Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly and thoughtfully packed up our leftover drinks to take home. We would definitely come back if we have the chance. 🥰“

“We made reservations for happy hour for our book club and were initially disappointed since we were a group of 4 that you had to be seated at the bar for happy hour prices to apply and we were not. Thank goodness we were able to switch over to the bar, and just wish that was more transparent initially. The arugula salad was amazing and the house ginger beer, pizza, and pasta satisfying! Staff was attentive :)“

“It's a very nice restaurant with a clean and comfy atmosphere. The staff was very polite and ast and friendly service.. the only complaint I have is that they don't have an option for salad dressing. They only served with their dressing already in the salad.... My mother in law said her spaghetti was served cold and my fiancee said his soup was boiling hot and blistered his mouth . But all in all the food was delicious.“
“I’ve eaten in this location previously. The current experience is a huge improvement over the prior experiences. The food is nothing short of excellent - all of it. I don’t remember the last time I went to a restaurant anywhere and liked every single thing we ordered at the table. Great quality, nice proportions and solid presentation. Easily the best restaurant on Vashon right now. Highly recommend.“

“The best burger spot for my family. We’ve had enough In N Out we traveled to Cali to my family likes but for me it’s not all that and not worth the hype ; I’m super picky about my food quality matters to me but I love habit burger everything is perfect from the burger to the fries not being too salty I dislike salty fries ! The patty has the perfect balance of flavor literally can eat more than 1 if I wanted ; this spot reminds me so much of Zippys burger that was closed in west Seattle …. Clean environment andddd the staff is soo amazing and friendly 🥺 keep up the good work HB!“

“I’ve been here a few times and the food has always been great. This time, however, the service was slow. I asked the waitress for an extra plate so I could share the papaya salad with my mom and her friend, but it took a long time for the plates to arrive. We eventually decided not to wait and ate the papaya salad with the rest of our food, which ended up being messy because of the fish sauce.
Aside from that, the food was still very good. For those who don’t like raw vegetables, I wouldn’t recommend the papaya salad, as it can be hard on the stomach—especially if you’ve recently had gallbladder surgery. I mention this because I didn’t realize my mom’s friend couldn’t eat raw food, so sticking to soup is a better option. Their soup is very good, and we really enjoyed it.“

“BEST sushi around! New sushi bar in Kent next to McClendon’s Hardware (in former Save-U-More) FRESH fish and all the flavors were in point. Rice was PERFECT. We enjoyed 4 long rolls and they were LONG ( 10 pieces). Great owners and very welcoming. They are set up for large platters, in door seating (with Karaoke). Nice, new decor and restaurant.“

“Our visit to a MOD pizza in another state. Another solid win! MOD pizza never let's my wife and myself down. We stopped in for our visit to the Seattle area. Pizzas(thick crust, pepperoni chicken, regular mod with pepperoni, mushroom olives, garlic cheese sticks, mod cakes, and some drinks, coke zero and in-house lemonade.
Service was stellar, and quality of pizza was great!! The mod cakes always make everything great and topp of the amazing pizzas.
Thank you for making our Seattle visit a great visit.“

“Arrived at 6ish in the evening on Monday and had no problem finding any seat I wanted. I do really like that the tall tables have built in power
Dominic was a great, friendly, and amiable server who made fun conversation and seemed super chill. The bartender made my favorite mocktail ever and shook the guava-Fevertree grapefruit for as long as any real cocktail, and with a sprig of mint to boot.
The food was substandard and small. My $18 entree salad with $7 additional chicken was the size of a side. The blackened, grilled chicken was nice and moist, but I wish I had over 4 oz of it. The arugula was crisp as usual but the endive seemed to be near its end and was getting flaccid and brown. I was trying to be healthy but shoulda gone with the yummy looking Space Dust Chicken Sandwich…next time!“

“Came in simply because I walked by it, was hungry and they have good signage . . . Happy to find they have delicious sandwiches too. I had the Prosciutto & Chicken and it was fantastic both in taste and the amazing textures. Friendly staff in a nice open bright space. If I worked nearby it would be a lunch favorite.“

“I come here with my partner at least 1 time a week! The food is so affordable and delicious ($45 max for both of us to eat our fill plus a sake). The service is minimal, as they'll sit you and maybe bring you a drink. I always have to flag someone down to pay, get more chopsticks, ask for drinks, etc, but it doesn't bother me enough to care too much. It's conveyor belt sushi, so I expect to take care of myself compared to other restaurants.
The nori fries are so delicious, and I'm always getting the pork gyoza and salmon sashimi. They have great karagge but you do have to ask for the spicy sauce for it. They also have sweet and sour sauce you can ask for, for the spring rolls. I take everyone I know here and they're always happy! It's easy to get seated around 7 pm, I've found, too.“

“Great to see the owner be able take over the space and turn it into an independent pizza place! Same great location, same great people, but now the pizza is more affordable and even better than before.
Also, I saw a recent review from someone who couldn't figure out how much toppings cost on a build your own pizza. Yes, it should probably be listed. But it took me about ten seconds to figure out that meat toppings are $2 and veggie toppings are $1. All you have to do is count the toppings on one pizza, and compare it with the toppings on another, and figure out the price difference.
Also, as someone who would eat pizza every day, there are not very many good pizza options in this area. This is one of the best. Most of the other ones are overpriced, too specialized, or have weird hours. Not sure what places the reviewer was thinking of, but, then, I'm not in the habit of posting negative reviews from a single experience that involved a basic inability to do simple math.
Some people, though, just post negative reviews because they're picky and don't understand the service industry. If you're unhappy, just don't go back. Why post a negative review that could lose money for a small business unless it's something egregious? Keep your b.s. complaints to yourself.“

“My husband and I moved to the neighborhood in 2024 and immediately adopted this place as our spot. The pastries are delicious and unique the drinks are also fantastic! As a former barista, I am REALLY particular about my coffee and the Cafe Dulzura crew delivers. The ambiance is also so cozy and cheerful. We've been coming weekly and will definitely continue.“
