“We’ve had a lot of sushi at all different price points around the city and this place is still the best for the price and the quality. We go at least once a month and every time they hit it out of the park. They frequently have amberjack as their special - highly recommend if they have it when you go.“

“This place was incredible! I soon as I walked in I was greeted with smiling faces. Seated at the bar immediately. Engaged in some friendly conversation with the staff. I pre studied the menu and ordered immediately. Had a beer in 1 minute and food within 15 minutes of walking in the door. The sushi A combo is a winner! Spider roll was stellar, the fish was very fresh and the technique was top teir! Honestly really enjoyed the experience and wished I lived in the area so I could visit regularly“

“Wow, this is GOOD sushi! So fresh and flavorful. We took advantage of the 3 roll bundle special and I was so impressed by the options, value, and taste. We did takeout and the lady who helped over the phone was super nice. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!“

“We stopped by after our daughter mentioned this place, and I’m so glad we did. The restaurant has a great Asian vibe, which I loved, and we were lucky enough to get seated right away in the last open booth. Service started off strong with water brought out immediately, and the waiter clearly explained the menu options.
We ordered à la carte. The food does take some time and comes out as it’s ready, so it’s best to order everything at once. But the wait was worth it. The fish was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. I’m gluten-free and didn’t use any sauce, and everything still tasted amazing.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and very on top of things. They’ve been open about a year, and it really shows that they’ve maintained both quality and service — something not all places do.
For two people, we had three rolls, some nigiri and sashimi, soup, edamame, and two teas. With tip, it came out to around $100, which felt very reasonable. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Shiva provided the best service I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. Michael came in to relieve him and made sure we were fully satiated with our meals. Both Shiva and Michael gave us a great conversation and delicious food. Some of the best presented sushi as well. I’ll definitely be back. I would give this a 10⭐️if I could.“

“Fresh, fast and delicious! The portions are on point & the rice-ratio = perfection.
You can use the main door but if you’re 6ft watch your head (hanging signage). Recommend using the building door (to the right of restaurant) for access.“

“Still sitting in the parking lot just had to rave about the service!!! Loved Sarah B.
Costumer service, was offered a free appetizer while waiting for our order. Loved the photos on the wall of all the support. Definitely will be back, 10/10 in my book.“

“DELICIOUS sashimi. I really hope the owners find this comment. I'm leaving this review because my conscience won't allow me not to. Basically, I shared a very pleasant $90+ meal with a couple friends. However, I'm embarrassed to say that I'm not well-practiced/educated in tipping because I've so rarely eaten out in all my life. I SEVERELY under-tipped them for this meal, and I just feel awful because it was AMAZING service on top of really decent sushi and better sashimi.“

“Such a cute little spot! I love coming here, the staff is friendly, the service is impeccable and the rolls are moderately priced. The only thing I would change is that some of the menus from the previous ownership are still showing online.“

“My family and I visited Japonessa following a visit to the Seattle Art Museum. The menu was large and varied, offering a number of options. Our server was attentive and helpfully suggested some menu items. The restaurant itself is large, but not especially noisy.“

“Absolutely a hidden gem for fresh, AFFORDABLE sushi in Seattle. Their specialty rolls are so tasty, with unique combos that they change up seasonally. Love the Energy roll (mango is fire in sushi!) Validated parking garage with lots of spots, making this an easy spot for a quick bite or takeout.“

“One of my favorite Japanese restaurants (not to mention the oldest in Seattle) and it has never disappointed me. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and warm. It’s a difficult time we are in with the pandemic of 2020, but Maneki has transitioned to take out, which it never did before, and is so organized that it blew my mind when I saw how clearly labeled each item was when I got home. I could easily tell which was part of the teishoku 定食 or “set meal.” Support this small business because it needs us now more than ever. 01 DEC 2020.“

“BEST sushi around! New sushi bar in Kent next to McClendon’s Hardware (in former Save-U-More) FRESH fish and all the flavors were in point. Rice was PERFECT. We enjoyed 4 long rolls and they were LONG ( 10 pieces). Great owners and very welcoming. They are set up for large platters, in door seating (with Karaoke). Nice, new decor and restaurant.“

“A decent sushi lunch place. They have your choice of poke bowls, bentos, sushi rolls and nigiri and salads. I usually drop by here to pick up a quick lunch when I have a craving for sushi. Quality is ok, not bad and not great. I think the poke bowls are the best thing to try here“

“First I should say sushi is my favorite food. This place is the best sushi I have had in my entire life, my recommendation spicy crunchy California and bagel roll (if you like cream cheese please trust me it’s so good, even if you don’t maybe try it because you may start to like it!!) And the tempura roll is tasty. The tempura veggies also are a consistent order for me. Been going for 20 years now, and will always be back!!!“

“I ordered the middle of the road omakase and got a good spread. the wild next to the farmed salmon was a fun comparison. I've never had squid cut in tiny curly bits like it was. I asked about Uni but was told they were out, which was disappointing. I'm also not a huge fan of scanning a QR code for a menu.“

“Super nice couple that runs this sushi place! I know it’s takeout only, but they go above and beyond on presentation! The pieces look so nice and adorned. The sushi and fish tasted fresh and was really good! Highly recommend and I’d come back again!“

“Perfection on all levels. I walked in not knowing what I wanted, and the service worker helped me pick the exact sushi burrito to fit my palate.
I was amazed at the high quality rice, seaweed, and, omg, the pineapple was sliced so perfectly and was so well balanced by other ingredients that I have to take a break before the second half to write this review, as I bask in the joy of the first half. Mood-altering!“

“One of the hidden secrets of SeaTac is the Hachi-ko “chicken rice soup,” which undersells this warm, gingery, chicken-y congee/jook/arroz caldo/chao ga that is a perfect light meal for weary travelers! You’ll find it hidden in the sides part of the menu, but don’t sleep on it!“

“Asian Table in Kent is a tasty find! The sushi roll was fresh, with perfect rice and zesty flavors. Teriyaki chicken was juicy, charred just right. Staff’s friendly, making you feel at home. Quirky paper lanterns give it a cozy glow. Only gripe? Portions could be bigger. A solid spot for sushi and Asian bites!“

“One of the best sushi conveyor places in the area, although I will admit I'm biased because they have a lot of different salmon rolls and I LOVE salmon! The seared garlic salmon roll is one of my top favorites, and I'll go here just for it, haha. But they also do nice eel, scallop, and other rolls and nigiri, so if you want something basic, or a bit different, it's great. Also a good selection of sides and desserts.“

“I am still trying out all of the restaurants around my job and this place caught my eye. I love the small kitchen aesthetic, it reminds me of living in Asia. I ordered a nigiri roll and beef teriyaki. The roll was fine but the beef was a bit dry and not my favorite meal. I would revisit and try something else but it was just ok.“

“I tried Musashi for the first time and it was alright! I got a chirashi bowl which ran to $20 after taxes. It was a pretty small bowl but it was decent. It wasn’t the best chirashi bowl I’ve ever had nor would I come back here for it. It was nice to try a new restaurant but it wasn’t anything too crazy or extraordinary. There are about only 4 tables inside so it’s definitely not like a “dine-in” restaurant. The majority of their orders are to-go’s. It was a bit difficult to locate the restaurant as it’s clumped with the apartments.“

“If you live in Renton or in northern Kent, this Teriyaki shop is amazing. The food is worth every penny, which isn't pricey at all. By the way, one of the only teriyaki shops that gives you a different kind of Salad dressing, and not the same thousand island type of dressing.“

“More of a take out place. Food was ready fast. It was super hot. Had to wait a few mins before I could eat it without burning my mouth. Taste was delicious. More authentic style than American. But it's atop Beacon Hill so what would you expect. No parking and no seating area to eat. Just a few chairs so you can wait for your order. Had to park a block away and eat in my car. No regrets...“

“If you are at the market, come here, come here quick! Best fried rice we had in Seattle! The salmon, crab or pork fried rice was awesome. We did $25 all you can fit box. We took it to go, brought to the hotel room and tore it up. The beef, chicken and pork rib is also yummy! Better than some Chinese spot. Do the buffet style you won’t regret it!“
