“Went Monday at 2 PM. No line not busy. I like how you can make your own sauce to go with your meal. You pick your food put it in the bowl, then you pay for it and pick whatever soup base.
I will definitely come here again.“

“Cute little spot thats been recently remodeled. Clean, welcoming and family-run. Food is Americanized Chinese and delicious. Everything is made from scratch and taste so fresh. My favorites are hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef and Sweet and Sour Chicken. We come back at least monthly. So so good!“

“Stopped here for the first time today to pick up lunch. Loved the flavor and taste of each of three dishes we tried. This will now be our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Crispy & Spicy Fish 香辣鱼 & Szechuan Chicken 四川鸡 were particularly good.“

“We ordered here through DoorDash as they had a pretty good deal going on and my mom offered to buy us food since she injured herself and we were taking care of her. My mom got the spicy chicken teriyaki, my boyfriend got the chicken breast teriyaki and I got the regular chicken teriyaki. Food didn't take too long to receive and it was still hot despite coming all the way from Auburn.
Their salad is different from the typical salads from teriyaki places as it is more traditionally Korean style salads as it consists mostly of cabbages with other slices of vegetables with a creamy sauce. The sauce is also not the traditionally one you get from teriyaki places but it is in my opinion way better. It had a good tangy taste with familiar tastes other teriyaki places and fit well with the rest of the salad. As a Korean, I prefer this salad as I hate getting salads from other teriyaki places and seeing wilted or old vegetables with my salad as it makes it not appetizing or makes you question if you should even eat it. I saw no issues with my salad. My mom asked for no burnt ends on her teriyaki and they seem to have done a decent job at doing so, but definitely could be better. I didn't ask for it but my teriyaki wasn't too bad, so I don't think I need to make it a note. They also are extremely generous with the portions as there was just meat rather than topping the meats on more rice which I appreciate. The teriyaki was good, not too sweet or flavorless and sticking well on the meats. I appreciate that they give you a sauce of teriyaki with each teriyaki order, including the spicy version. Definitely want to try out their Korean bowls which seem like a good variety of food for a reasonable price.“

“Came in for lunch to a modest looking family owned establishment. Greeted by nice lady at the counter where we ordered some poke. Friendly service, seems like a small family operation with maybe two people running front and back. The meal came out when it came out but we weren’t at all in hurry. Generous portions and quality of fish surprised me for being all the way out in Kent. Looking forward to definitely come back again.“

“Great take out place, top notch especially for the area. Great food, prompt service. No complaints. They exceeded my expectations. I got the seafood fried rice and honestly off of first impressions I didn’t think I was going to like it, scallops, oysters, imitation crab (from what I could gather I might be wrong and there could be others) and a high yellow tinge like turmeric. I thought the flavors wouldn’t mesh well but it was wonderful. The chowmein I got was great too. The honey wanut shrimp was okay but honestly got a little outshined by everything else but that’s okay because it was all great and would order from here again.“

“The food was great. Everything was freshly made and a very good selection. We will come back.
Only thing odd, we were the only ones in the place for lunch and our server sat at the table next to us for his lunch and he was watching something on his phone with out earbuds, so we had to listen to his content over our conversation. Manners matter.“

“I've been chasing the taste of the Xiao long bao I used to get in Manhattan since I moved here in 2013. So far this is the place that has come closest.
Everything was absolutely delicious, service was speedy, and on top of all that it was cheap! Don't let the ambiance fool you, this place is a gem.“

“Friendly place with the best roast duck. You will be a roast duck snob if you try other places. Only problem is sometimes they're out if you go there too late. Then you might have to go down the street where they don't know how to cut a duck and it's not that good. If you do, at least grab some of Megastar's secret sauce as it helps!“

“I go here during lunch any time I'm in the area. Hands down the best teriyaki spot I've been to in Washington. The portion sizes are great and the food is brought out rather quickly. I usually get the L2 combo as it's very reasonably priced and tastes amazing.“

“An unassuming strip mall location hides the best Chinese restaurant in Federal Way.The staff are very welcoming, and make you feel right at home. The food is amazing, with vegetables cooked properly, and textures as they should be. Flavors are great. When cooking different vegetables together, some require more or less time to cook, but there is never an undercooked or overcooked vegetable, even in the same dish, meaning they take time to make sure they add ingredients in at the right time to make sure everything is cooked properly. Most other restaurants will just shove everything in a wok and it leads to some vegetables being overcooked and others being undercooked, these guys do it right. Definitely will be going here more often.“

“My second time going to Dough Zone, the other one I went to was in Bellevue. Pretty decent selections, I’m not huge on the noodle dishes personally, like the beef and sesame one. The Chicken Dumplings and Pan-Fried Wontons were the best, so I totally recommend those.“
“Best I can tell it’s a place for Vietnamese uncles to hang out. They have coffee, but I didn’t see a menu anywhere for other options.
The ca phe sua da is realllyyyy good though, honestly better than most places here.
Also it smells heavily of cigarette smoke, so if you bothers you you might not like it.“

“I came here with my baby, and the server Vanessa was SO kind to us. She went above and beyond - helped with my baby's high chair, made my baby smile, and did everything she could to be kind and welcoming and give me as a mom a friendly space to enjoy the wonderful Xiao Long Bao. I haven't had a soup dumpling in years - they were so nourishing, and I feel so refreshed and happy after this experience! Thank you Vanessa for your wonderful kindness! I will be back!“

Little did we know that this Chinese restaurant that you wouldn’t noticed since it’s tucked in a corner of a strip mall ,was the best place for amazing dine in and take out Chinese food. Prices are good and the staff is always helpful and nice. Shout out to the lady we see all the time at the front and always serves us. “They have the BEST teriyaki chicken I've ever had! The teriyaki sauce is delicious and they use quality meat products that is cut into thin, manageable slices. It's so yummy I could eat there every day! Plus, they have very reasonable prices as well. A teriyaki bowl costs less than any fast food meal, and it's more filling and so much better for your health I'm sure.“
“Despite being totally slammed during their first week open, this place didn’t disappoint. My takeout order was ready right on time and was just as tasty as I remembered it. Can’t beat the orange chicken! And its pretty reasonably priced too. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood.“

“We dropped in for lunch today and it definitely lived up to its ratings. Had been eager to try out XinJiang food for a while and the food was excellent. Absolutely loved the lamb on noodles and the lamb buns. The skewers were good too. The chicken with Nan was good too but the star was definitely the lamb on noodles. Would love to visit again to try out more dishes“

“I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while passing by. It offers a typical teriyaki menu, along with Korean dishes, some Japanese options (like sushi and tempura), and even jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles). The area is an industrial zone, so workers from nearby factories frequently drop in. Perhaps because of this, the restaurant opens early at 10 AM and closes early (3PM) as well.
It seemed like the owners, a husband and wife, were the only ones working (I couldn't see the kitchen). The owner’s wife took orders and served in the dining area. I arrived around 10:40 AM, a bit early for lunch, but there were already two tables with customers, and more people started coming in shortly after.
I ordered four dishes, including Korean and teriyaki options. Typically, teriyaki places don’t serve Korean side dishes (banchan), but since I ordered Korean food, they brought out banchan. The owner’s wife apologized for the limited variety of side dishes and generously brought out extra.
As I tasted the side dishes, they had a comforting, homemade quality, like a warm meal prepared at home. The flavors were neither too salty nor too bland, with a clean taste that didn’t rely on artificial seasonings. The dishes—spicy pork bulgogi, seafood soft tofu stew, stone pot bibimbap, and Mongolian beef—reminded me of my mom's cooking, which I loved. While the food didn’t have the commercialized taste of popular chain restaurants, it felt like it was made with care and attention, just like a meal prepared at home.
This restaurant pleasantly exceeded my expectations.
- Service: Following the typical teriyaki joint setup, you place and pay for your order at the counter before taking a seat. The staff then brings your meal to your table. A nice touch is the complimentary bottled water that accompanies your meal.
- Price: Considering the generous portions and delightful taste, the pricing is quite reasonable. While I haven't compared it to other eateries in the vicinity, the value for money here stands out.
- Food: The dishes shine with a home-cooked quality, free from overpowering artificial flavors. Each bite feels wholesome, capturing the essence of genuine, heartfelt cooking.
- Ambiance: The setting is straightforward and functional, characteristic of fast-food-style teriyaki spots. It's not fancy, but it serves its purpose well.
- Parking: There's ample parking available, though spaces can fill up quickly. Nevertheless, finding a spot wasn't an issue, and it's free of charge.
In summary, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of authentic flavors and efficient service, making it a noteworthy spot for anyone craving quality teriyaki and more.“

“You'll only find the most authentic food here. Everything is so fresh. The duck had just enough fatty, meat, and crispy. The fish was awesome. We also get it half steamed and half made into soup and both excel in their taste. The honey crisp pork ribs are always a top choice for us. Loved that the fried calamari was like finger food for us. And their garlic satueed water spinaches bring the color and health to the table. They also come in such big portions that we had plenty to take to eat the next day, which not to mention, still tasted fresh even after the microwave. So lucky to have found this gem.“
